If it's just a picture from a film, like say if someone has taken a screenshot of a scene in the film, can you get sued for using this on your book cover? It's not like I'm going to be making money...
It's probably unlikely that people would find out about it...but if they do, can I get sued?
What happens if...
a) if someone else has taken the screenshot and has NOT edited it and I just use that?
b) if I take the screenshot myself?
The only reason why I don't want to take it myself is because it comes out very blurry.
Also, this film that I'm screenshotting is NOT the film I'm writing a fanfic about. One of the actors in the film that I'm fanficing about is my main character...

they're kind of depressing..
Her skin tells her story
Her arms recite her past
Her face is full of sorrow
Her smile will never last
What once started out so simple
Soon spiraled out of control
She thought she’d never let it go too far
But she was lost after her first scar
She mistakenly turned to a sick obsession
She found release in her own pain
She used her blade as her own weapon
And could breathe from the scarlet stain
If you looked at her you’d never know
She never lets her pain show
She hides behind laughter and smi...

Homeless Shelters.

Hi
I am 20 and I am a female. I am an unaccompanied youth. I have not lived with my parents since I was 18. I have lived in 4 different homes since I left my parents house. I live in the state of Georgia. I am having trouble finding homeless shelters for single young females in my state. Going back to my parents home is not an option and I am having trouble getting in to college a independent because I haven't lived in a shelter. Many of the financial aid counselors are ignorant when it comes to the rules of the law of who qualify as accompanied youth and the fact that they the counselors can qualify one as an accompanied youth through a financial aid assistant interview. I have not been able to go to college because ...

How Do You Repair Scratches On An Important DVD?.

I have a question regarding products that fix deep scratches or scratches in general on DVDs. I have an important DVD recorded at a family event 12 years ago. It's clearly seen better days and the DVD-RW that it's on is severely scratched.
I can play it but it locks up at certain points (FREEZES) and then skips to the next chapter if that. I know there's a lot of products to repair scratches out there but do any of them do it so you can watch the whole disc without skipping or locking up like that? And if this is your only copy could it possibly damage it if applied?
Please let me know what to get from Best Buy that hopefully is easy to use and fool proof.

crooked snakebites piercing?

I did snakebites.on my self a lil while ago. And I just noticed they were slightly crooked. I don't know what to do. I pierced a. thicker part on my lip on the right side, and a thinner part on the left. Any advice on what I can do? And I always get this crust around the ball on my stud, I don't know what it is, but when I clean it off. It always comes back. What can I do to help with that also? And any tips on healing them quicker? Thanks x3

using color shield conditioner if you haven't colored your hair

I'm going to leave for camp tomorrow and I need a small thing of conditioner. The problem is, the only one I could find was color shield by fructis, which is for people who have colored their hair in some way. I haven't, but would it be okay if I used it?

Waterproof mascara.

I need a really good waterproof (drugstore) mascara. I don't have a whole lot of money to be buying a bunch so I've been going off reviews, but that hasn't helped all that much. My main concern is staying power, as most mascaras and eyeliners tend to smudge on me throughout the day, even those that I've tried that are "waterproof" (though to be fair I've only tried 3). Of course, as far as mascaras go, I also don't want something clumpy, messy, or too dry. Any suggestions?

Ok, so I'm female and am under 18, from England.
Its only because this is advicenators that I can talk about this in confidence-I can't give up sucking my thumb.
When I don't its like I get cravings similar to smokers that are really bad. Its totally embarrasing so I only do it at home but how do i stop?!

Overcoming Writers Block...

Ok so I am a well known author and I will not tell you who I am obviously, but I need some amateur writers ideas. Im about to write a new novel and I need a good topic. Ive been thinking about writing about either a tragedy/ natural disaster or I could write about finding true love. I love either topic but Im at a loss for words. I do not know how to start or what should be my plot and setting and stuff like that. So, I would love some ideas from great amateur writers and in return if I like the ideas I will mention your name in my book so if you give me a reply please state your first name and your age. Why do my videos get deleted from youtube?

Why is it that a lot of music videos& concerts don't get deleted on youtube, but mine does?
I see a lot of videos that are concerts and people uploading music on youtube. But when I do the same thing my videos get blocked or removed. Is there some special software that prevents music/concert videos from being deleted or something?

I AM SICK! in all aspects, i am sick!.. emotionally, physically, academically, spiritually, and [soon] mentally sick...
i have lived trying to convince myself that everything was alright. i've tried to be the coolest person that i can be despite of my problems... and thankfully, for the past years i have overcome the pains and thought that these Pains that i have overcome made me a stronger person... but then, this notion has changed TONIGHT... these pains are hittting me back ('with a vengeance' as they call it) as if i've thrown them on the wall and bounces back at me. and i can hardly bear all of them...
i got friends [i think] but i can't tell them what i am going through for it's too complicated and nobody even seems to c...

I see something different when I look at myself?

I don't understand why when I look at myself in any mirror I see someone that looks completely different from all of my pictures. In the mirror I see me with normal shaped face. Not too long. And I look pretty in the mirror. Yet when other people look at me or when I look at pictures, I have an extremely long face and I'm just plain ugly. I've even had friends comment on how long my face is so its not just the pictures. When I was younger, looking back at the pictures you would think that when that girl grew up, that she would be really pretty. So why do I see myself in the mirror differently than others see me? Am I going crazy?
