Greek Mythology: Atreus' symbol(s) and powers/responsibilities?

I'm having some trouble finding out what Atreus' symbol would be. I saw something about the Greek Theatre Mask of Tragedy being a possible symmbol, but why exactly, and is that true? Or are there others?
Also, I can't find Atreus' exact powers or responsibilities that he has- does anyone know? Your help would be extremely beneficial:)
(And I have searched like crazy throughout the internet and books, so I did put honest effort into this, I just can't seem to find any information on those particular topics)

i need some help in english, i dont need answers but i need some starting ideas. i have to write an essay and in it i have to compare Walt Whitman's technique in one or more of those poems to Emily Dickinson's.
can you help me with ideas on what kinds of techniques they both have, and maybe how to get the essay started?

Hey.. When i was in high school, nursing was one of my choices besides political science and communications. I took up nursing because it was always in demand and i have loved the sciences as well.. I am now in my sophomore year and i don't think that nursing is really for me. I've been experiencing ups and downs. One time, i didn't come to class because i was so lost as to what i really like to happen in my life. They say, you have to love what you do but I guess i'm not happy with what im doing so how can i succeed? Writing is my passion and i regret it now for not really taking a course that suits me best.. How do i manage this??
Should i go on with my course? Or shift now? Is it too late?? I'm in my sophomore year at pres...

Spanish Name Translation

What if someone's last name in Spanish is "Tal" then is there an english translation? I wasn't sure if lastnames have translations. I really need to know for a school assignment! Thanks. btw I knoe that 'tal' means 'such' in spanish but this is a name.

im queen for winter formal, i must dress up right yet i am so lost

i have my winter formal dance this saturday and my boyfriend and i were elected the king and queen for the court. i never dress up but this time i have to alot and actually look good. can anyone help me with a few simple things? its on my 16th bday :)
1.) my friends wont let me wear my gauges but my ears are stretched so i need something to cover so there making me wear regular size crystal earrings, would they fall out or like droop down since their alot tinyer?
2.) i dont want to walk the whole ways because i am so unstable in heels id fall. so would it be ok if i wore flats instead? it is a very fancy dance.
3.) my boyfriend and i have to do a slowdance on stage and im scared we usually just bullshit slowdances and k...

Hello im 18/f and im a freshmen in college. I am going to school to become an lpn nurse. I was super excited when this winter semester and i told myself how i was going to study and get excellent grades. Now almost half way thru the semester im slacking big time. Failing all of my tests not caring anymore. Like i have a test on monday and i told myself im going to study but i know im not going to. I just dont care to i guess you could say. I've always been an average student getting like Bs and Cs. I have no ambition to do anything with my life anymore really. To me its like well if i fail these classes i failed sucks for me. Just dont really care and i want to get that care back. Is there anyway i can do this? Any tips on how to become a b...

Answer someone for sadie hawkins dance

Our school's sadie hawkins dance is coming up and I got asked. I don't want to just say "yes." I want to do something fun or different because this girl is really special and I want her to remember me in a special way even after the dance.
Any ideas? ladies what would you think was wonderful and leave you thinking happy thoughts about a guy if he did when you asked him to sadies?

Our school is participating in the class act talent show and my friends and I can dance pretty well, but all our ideas for dances are the same as everyone else we know!

TRYING TO IMPROVE IN SCHOOL.

Okay so basically for years now i never cared about my grades...they were nothing but letters to me but now that im in high school i wanna show everyone im smart...the counselors & teachers & stuff know i am since i am considered gifted so if i do my homework i will be in AP classes cuz im in HONORS classes now. i really wanna know how i can get my act together. i understand all the work without paying attention in class but i dont like doing the homework &&/or classwork. i dont mean to sound like one of those people who think they are the best...i actually dont...just providing more details. i am currently in 9th grade & i started off good but it got bad && latelty i got my grades up. now that 2nd sesmter starts...

Class Decisions.

I'm a junior doing scheduling right now and I'm not sure exactly what to choose for some classes.
I want to major in Psychology in a very good liberal arts school, but their website does not offer very good information on what I'm looking for, and neither does collegeboard.com
I know I'm taking AP Calc, AP Italian, Choir, AP Psychology, Sociology, AP Literature, and gym. I'm unsure about my science, and whether I should take one at all.
Freshman year I took Pre-AP Chem, last year I took Pre-AP Biology, and this year I'm taking AP Chem. I'd take Biology, but the teacher doesn't really teach so I don't want to waste time and money on that class. My options are AP Physics or Honors anatomy.

theres a girl at my school who i used to be good friends with at the beginning of the year. its my first year at a new school, so i was making friends. one day, she decided to flip on me, and cuss at me, calling me all these horrible names and trying to offend me. although, it didnt bother me too much, just the fact that she was picking on me. it stopped for a little while, and i talked to other people, and just made more friends. yesterday she writes on my facebook wall accusing me of telling another girl that she was talking bad about her. when i NEVER did such a thing. i have no reason too, why should i talk about someone who i have no desire to like? but, then today, she keeps bringing it up and calling me all these ...

Lately I have been feeling like I'm dumber than a normal 15 year old should be. I have started watching Criminal Minds lately and I am fascinated with Spencer Reid and how genius he is. So, it got me thinking how cool would it be if all of my friends turned to me for help on their homework or helping them study for a test. However, before that happens I need to improve in school, myself. So, in conclusion, does anybody have studying techniques I could use? I tried reading a passage as studying but that does not help because I just forget the next day. Something along the lines of flashcards or something like that. One last thing.
