Halloween

Ever since I was little my family hasnt celebrated Halloween because its an "Evil holiday" is that true? Where in the Bible does it say that? I feel like im missing out on Halloween. Ive only went trick or treeting like 5 times, and im getting old

I’m 14, and I’ve been having some serious issues lately.
First of all, ever since the beginning of September, I’ve been feeling drained and empty, and all of my energy has disappeared. The only way I can move is to force myself to move; my limbs feel numb, like they’re just filled with water. My period hasn’t come for 2 months. All of my emotions are gone. I never feel happy, I only feel relieved. I don’t feel any other emotion except for sadness and extreme loneliness. Whatmore, my sense of compassion is gone, and I can’t seem to know the difference between right and wrong. I hear about brutal murders, and I don’t feel that they are bad. I remember when I was taught the importance of being a good person, but...

It's stated in the koran: "Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine"
So when it says dead meat does it mean just the swine or it also refers to any other animals?
And also, does islam prohibit eating chicken?

I dont really want to believe to that thing, but I cant help it due to things that have happened to me. Once I had this dream I just could not wake up from. The dream just kept on going on and on, and it was not a good one either. I knew it was a dream, I knew who I was and I was wondering to myself, what, am I doing here. This is not real then why the fuck cant I wake up.
Anyways, after a while I did wake up. drunk some water got back to bed. Only then, everytime I fell asleep, I got the worst feeling one could ever get.
There I was, trying to fall asleep, when everything around me started colliding, like not just the walls around me, but the hole universe was being destroyed into atoms, as if I was waking up from the Matrix ...

Orthodox Jewish Ceremonies involving a giant wooden box

Are there any orthodox Jews who can answer this question for me?
A neighbor built what appears to be a big plywood box a bit bigger than a car in his driveway.
It has what I think is Hebrew writing on the side.
Can anyone tell me what the heck they are doing? I don't think they want to talk about it so I am asking here. Any help?

Hi. I'm 13/f
My problem is that My mom is really into christianity and all that stuff, but lately I've been getting into witchcraft.(yes, I know the bible says it's an abomination against God) My mom doesn't know, and so she still takes me to church with her every sunday.but whenever I'm in church, I feel like I'm getting a lecture or something like that. She's so into it, she sent me to private school because of the "Moral Values" of it. the truth is, all the kids there are pretty much the same as they would be in public school. We all cuss, some of us smoke and a few of us drink.I mean, I believe in god, but I also believe in spells. I've seen them work before and have succesfully done some. I'm not really sure what to do. Any help???

I am very confused about religion. My family is Christian and believe in God, but aren't too religious. I was never told to believe in anything.
I believe in God. BUT I also believe in Karma. Is there any sort of name or religion for that? they are two different beliefs and religions, but I believe in both.

I've heard people talking about what happens before God returns. I've started reading the bible, but I haven't gotten that far where it tells you about it. I know that it says something about locusts and maybe hurricanes, but I don't know the details. If any of you have read it, what does it say happens?

ahhh! ok i am such a bad person!
i've been in love with the same guy for 2 years, and all along ive been trying to hack his email account to see if he has any emails from his gf's or about me or whatever! (i know! wrong wrong wronggg!) but here's the thing, his secret question was "favorite historical person" and ive been trying to guess it or years, guessing eveything from spongebob square pants to eleanor roosevelt, and then while doing my daily "try-to-hack-him" thing, i decided to google "favorite historcal person" and the first thing that came up was "Jesus" and im a christian (who sins a lot, even though i try not to..) but he's not, so i was like "pssh he doesnt have that as an answ...

I don't know what I am inside, or what to do. I believe in god and jesus and stuff, but I don't know if I'm scared to go to hell. I don't go to church and I don't know what waits for me at the end. I want to find out what I really believe in but I don't know how. This may sound strange, but I feel like I have a connection, not to god, but almost like being psychic. I need a way to find my spirituality.

Depending on what it's like, a song can change my mood or outlook on a situation from moment to moment because that's just how I am. What are some good songs that make you feel mellow and chilled out or happy. The songs themselves don't have to be happy or sad...just how do they make you feel? i made a mistake! jus one small mistak (choosing the wrong highschool ... where i live you choose which onwe to go to..everyone told me not to take this one.. but i did) and now my life is ruined! im miserable! i cry myself to sleep everynight, EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! i hate my life, and all i ever want to do is sleep, just cause crying as much as i do gives me a headache.. so what? i made a mistake! it happens, right? and ok ive learnt from it! "listen to my parents and friends from now on" - its on my "learnt lessons" list! so now howcome he doesnt make it better??! why won't he help me get back on my feet?? OR why'd he make so much depend on just one choice, how could he make my happynees depend on what school i choose? s...

ok so i have just realized no one is really happy, everyone is miserable.. everyone thinks life sucks (with a few expetions) and nearly everyone i know cries themselves to sleep!! So what is the meaning of it all? sure we can be really happy every now and then, sometimes we fall in love..sometimes life just go great.. but overall, id say we live 95% of our lives hating life ( i know i do) so what's the g0d do anything about it? dont get me wrong, i love him soo much! he's helped me through a lot!! and i know he loves me no matter what.. so im not trying to say g0d isnt there for me, i just dont understans why life has to be sooo filled with pain, i understand a little.. but seriously more than 90% of my life ive cried myself to sleep! oh i ...

Where do I start? life is really bad.
I'd kill myself but im a coward.
I've cried myself to sleep every night the past year, i cant say it feels like anyone heard me cry for help or helped me at all.. so where do I go from here with my religion? what do I do? Why is the devil putting me through this (assuming its him) and howcome G0d isnt helping?

Really, I asked many people what the definition of soul is, and everybody starts saying his own crap. Soul, is something you cant see, something you cant touch. I dont want to know what soul is not.
people will start saying that soul is your imagination, your choices, antywyas jsut say what you think.

i got this book on christianity by miles mcphearson and it says i should get a christian mentor to help me understand the religion more because i just moved i cant ask a friend so i need someone on here who is willing to put up with a very dumb person when it comes to god.please be willing to put up with me for a long time and i want to do it through email so please help!!!!
