COULD THERE BE A POSSIBLE EDIFI REFUND? Posted Sunday August 3 2008, 11:35 pm
There is a great debate over Edifi. Two years ago I was stupid enough to pay and obviously never got the service. Now that money is greatly needed.
Does anyone think or know of a possible way to get a refund? Someone must have tried.
There has to be a way that the money can be given back, right?

i'm going to be a junior. i get good grades, am 2nd in my class and am very involved in extra-carriculars. i want to go to an ivy-league school, namely Columbia U. how can i prepare now? scholarship-wise, money-wise, transition-wise, acedemically (tests and whatnot), pretty much everything. i don't want to be shocked when i get there. i don't want to drown in ivy league madness because my high school didn't prepare me so well. so how do i prepare??

Welfare Posted Wednesday July 23 2008, 4:46 pm
Hi, I am hoping to start school in 2009 but am not financially stable to go to school and therefor need some sort of loan. I was thinking of getting a line of credit from a bank but someone told me that in ontario you can go on welfare for school. And they pay for the studies for you, or atleast help you pay for it. I would like to know if anyone knows any information about this and if this is true.

I lied on my college application...what should I do? Posted Tuesday July 22 2008, 8:16 pm
Okay, I wrote an essay about this amazing service project that never happened. It was about home repair...I said I started this program and repaired like fifty homes.
so I got selected for the scholarship program I applied for....i have to work 10 hours a week...I told my parents i didn't want to do it and they said either I do it or I don't go to college in the fall and will take a year off. (Theres no way they can pay for my college without the program).....
I don't know what to do...I feel horrible about lying and will never ever do it again...I don't want to do the program, but I want to go to college! I'm so worried and upset...I have noone to talk to about this....I hate myself...I know i shouldn't hav...

Looking for a good college! Posted Friday July 18 2008, 1:35 pm
I'm looking for suggestions of a good college to go to. I don't know what exactly I want to do, but I may want to get a double major: one in music and one in art- perhaps animation. I want to be able to also take other classes, like dancing or acting, so that I can find what I love. So I'm asking for some good, reputable schools that offer these things. I live in the US and don't want to go overseas for school... Thank you in advance!

I want to be famous, I love to act and sing. I'm not that great at singing. I would love to be on Broadway but I don't know if I would make it. I don't know what to do with my life. I'm 14, so I want to take high school classes that will help me in what I want to be. I love fashion and everything but I don't know what to do any ideas?

what kind of career would this be? Posted Tuesday July 15 2008, 5:56 pm
well,im at that age where i have to start looking at colleges and focus on what i want to do with my life.I'm honestly not 100% sure what i want to do yet,but i know i was to do something in the artsy, creative field.I like doing collages?(i think i spelled that right lol) you know cutting out photograhy pictures from magazines and putting them together on poster board things of that nature.I was thinking of doing magazine cover's since some are like that but i heard that's a graphic designer and being a graphic designer you have to problem solve, and problem solving isn't my thing. So i was wondering, what else do you think i could do that's similar to making collages and what not? thanks in advance :)

Information on College Classes Posted Tuesday July 15 2008, 3:31 pm
17/F
I'll be starting my senior year this September. For the past few years I have been racking my brain on careers that I would like to pursue, and so far, i'm still clueless.
I took an online Career Aptitude Test, and I liked the results I got. It said I should consider a career in Social Sciences/Services. (Social Worker, Family & Children Therapist, Human Service Assistant, etc.)
I would love to do something like that, but I was wondering what kind of College classes I would need to take, and what requirements I would need to do to get a job. I am brain dead when it comes to any kind of math, so one thing I would really like to know is what kind of math classes would be needed. Any information is greatly appreciated. <3

Pre-law, how many credits?? Posted Sunday July 6 2008, 7:41 pm
Hi, I am going to a be a university student this year, and soon I will be meeting my advisor to plan out my schedule. I have been advised by some friends to take A LOT of classes, so I end up with about 20 credits a year, and by others to take only 13, or 15 credits, so I won't kill myself.
I will do anything to become a lawyer, so if it takes 20 credits I will do it. But I don't want to burn myself out and then find out it would have been OK to take 15.
Is there a recommended number for pre-law students? Thank you.
