legal rights of an unwed father

My lil brother has a baby on the way, and is being very responsible about it, but her parents are very controlling of her. They are both legal age, she 19 and him about to be 20. The baby is due at the end of the month, and the soon to be grandmother called to tell him he's not welcome at the hospital when the baby comes, and if the babys mom tried to call him, she'll rip the phone from the wall. The sad thingis they have her so brainwashed that I'm sure she's afraid to call anyway, and her mom is a paralegal, so she's threatened to keep the baby away from us. We live in TEXAS, does anyone know what he should do????

HELP! I think my mom is taking drugs!

The situation is that I live at my mom's with my half brother step dad and half baby sister. But I don't want to bring any of my friends to my house as It is scruffy. And my mom and step dad like to drink lots of alcohol on a weekend. But one morning I woke up an I found remains of white powder on the kitchen worktop. Now I'm scared and I don't know weather to move somewhere else e.g.(dad's, nannas or grandmas) or just stay

My sister is going out with a boy who gave her hiv he is now in prison for burgalry. He is determined to get her pregnant when he gets out of prison as I've seen letters saying when i get out I'm definitly getting you pregnant i now its non of my buisness but i really. don't want my sister going down the wrong path abid getting hurt by some scum. she's only just turned 16.and i know its wrong for me to% butt. in her buisness but i only want wats best for her is thier any advice i can give her or persuade her to give up on him

My 2 sisters. Have been bailed for an offence they commited which was aggravated buglary one of them is 17 and the other. only just turned 16. Both of then were put on tag. the. 16 year. old is keeping to her tag but the 17 year old has broken. her bail conditions and she has cut her tag of will she get done for criminal damage to ? Also if she goes down for aggravated burglary. and criminal damage how long. will she get ?need advice in next month as thier court date is on the 1st august. they deserve what they get but i wanna know the details thnx for your help

My wife, who is also mother of my thirteen year old is in jail for one year for financial crimes. I am willing to stick by her and not leave her because I feel She made some stupid mistakes but it was out of character so I think she just got herself into a bad situation and make some poor decisions, She also never did anything bad at all before this And I am not defending her or saying she should not serve her punishment.. Also, her mother is showing regret and no defense at what she did . I am OK with her still being involved with her child because she was never an absent or abusive parent or anything. However, some people might feel it is wrong for me to do so and I am irresponsible for doing this,

Parents don't like piercings/how can I learn to stop seeking their approval

I've had my lobes pierced since I was a little girl - and that's about the only piercing that my parents are OK with. I used to beg them to let me get my lobes double pierced, or a cartilage piercing, etc. They told me when I was old enough to get them by myself (you have to be 18 in my state) then they wouldn't stop me.
I'm 18 now and would like to start getting some of the piercings that I've always wanted. However, I obviously still live with my parents, and even though they know that I plan on getting some piercings, I feel really uncomfortable going out and doing something that they disapprove of.
I feel like I'm supposed to just enjoy my freedom and do what I want to now. However, I still feel really bad ...

Hi I am 14 years old and I have a boyfriend he does not go to my school but I have met him before in my old school and now we are dating. However, my Mom is aware but my dad is Super Over Protective and he would even spy on me when I would go to the Movies with my friends, so I need advice Urgently!!! What should I do I wanna see my boyfriend so badly but I'm afraid tht my dad will catch me ! :( Please Help ! Thank you .

Hey there. We went for the visit to my wife/daughters mother in jail and it wasn't that horrible. It was with the glass between us. My wife talked about how it's like in jail and told my daughter how many people she is locked up with are young and not much over 18 probably as a way to scare her. Is this a good idea or is it being harsh on my daughter?

So I am a 19 year old female, and my cousin is and 18 year male. We haven't seen each other for like 3 years and we've both grown up quite a lot. My dad and I went to my aunts house for a party, and everyone was drinking. I am a female, 19 years old and I have a male cousin who is 18 years old. My cousin asked me if I have a boyfriend and I told him no and then he asked if I have ever had a boyfriend. me and my sister are 3 1/2 years apart. she's sixteen. we used to get along a little until she was 11. I always try to talk to her but she tells me not to touch her and leave her alone. My sister, who we'll call Morgan, is engaged to a guy who we'll call Mitchell. They've been dating since August of 2011 and in July of 2012, she told me she was certain she wanted to marry him. She always talked like you shouldn't think about marrying someone until you've been dating them for at least a couple years.
