Drum set size

what would be good sizes for the parts of a drum set for a beginner and when you get better at playing, would a person buy larger sizes?
also what are the differences between crash and ride cymbals? How many of them would be in a rockbands set for example (underoath). Would there be more crash or ride?

Spanish Mariachi

Ok. I sing, I like to learn different styles of singing. The one I am interested in right now is Spanish Mariachi. Specifically kinds like this (sorry they aren't the best songs but they are what I know :P) Antonio Banderas-El Mariachi, EL Cascabel (I don't know who it's by) and the song in happy feet My Way (A Mi Manera) sung by Robin Williams...the style it's sung in. Especially the begining. I really like Cahro as well. In Thumbalina Charo sings a song called On The Road. The begining of the song. that style. Does anyone know any good bands (especially women singers) that I could look into that would help me learn to sing in this style. Thank you so much!

I don't know the first thing about playing guitar.. but I've always wanted to learn. I have this cheap acoustic, and no money for lessons... so is there any way I'd be able to learn it easily enough through some sort of website?
One of the first songs I want to learn is "This Boy: by James Morrison. Any tips?

I got my first ukulele yesterday, and I'm getting pretty familiar with the chords and stuff.
I like it, but it's a lot harder to find song tabs and stuff for it than I expected.
I don't want Ode to Joy or anything boring like that, though.
I'm looking for some easy, accurate NeverShoutNever cords.
I really want Happy, She's Got Style, and Trouble.
If you know where to find then for UKULELE, please please let me know!
Any other song/artist recommendations are absolutely welcome, too.

ive recently picked up an acoustic guitar and started writing songs.
i dont have a manager or an agent or anything, but i was wondering if there was any software that i could buy to record music in my home on my own computer.
also, ways to put myself out there.
you know, how to find a manager or an agent, record a CD, how to find places to play at, etc.
please help!

Allright! :D well you know when you have a song stuck in you head but you cant remember the name or where you heard or who its by... you know when its a part without lyrics.. but maybe with vocals of people going "nah nah" or "lah" or somthing, is there any way to jog my damn brain to remember a part before with lyrics or a place i can go to get some help on it?
i knows its an old song, maybe dated from about 75 - 95? i have no idea, but the song im thinking of could be played on bbc 2's morning radio with terry wogan or somthing (before he started playing loads of crappy music..) and the song goes from this really nice tune into this butifull acoustic guitar accompanied ending with the singer sort of sing...

I want to try out for my first school talent show, But I cant find a good song to sing!!!!! I only have 3 preferences, which are not taylor swift, not colbie caillat and not a male song. Other than that Im open to Ideas! :) oh, and I am STRONGLY an alto, so I could use a low ranged song. Thanks!

alright, this girl i kinda like wants me to do a duet with her for our last chorus concert in midmay. shes graduatin so she wants somethin memorable. shes a soprano and im an alto. shes kinda ghetto, spanish, so i dont want any hush sound shit. i just wanna impress her with a few good songs she could pick from.
