Boyfriends Valentine's Day gift made me throw mine out.., now what do I do? I am in tears over this. :'(

Posted Wednesday February 12 2014, 11:42 pm

So my boyfriend(now fiancé ) brought me for a perfect date tonight and asked me to marry him..

Why is this chick complaining?

I litterly came home and threw out my pathetic valentines gift for him. A giant rice crispie treat in the shape of a Hershey's kiss.

I have actually spent the whole night crying.

What do I do? I know it seems so insignificant but I'm actually devistated.

He litterly spent over $3000 on everything and I am the pathetic girlfriend who did a DIY from Pinterest.

Quick question!! Valentines gift problem

Posted Monday February 3 2014, 7:40 am

So my boyfriend has already told me what he has bought me for Valentine's day...tickets to see my favourite band which probably cost quite abit of money.

I'm now very stuck as to what to buy him-should I stick to smaller gifts like other people do or d I buy a gift of equal value to mine?

Valentines Mug - What should I put in it?

Posted Thursday January 30 2014, 12:50 am

So I thought it would be super cute to do a personalized mug for my boyfriend for Valentines Day. It is white, has a 'tic-tac-toe' pattern with hearts and it says our names beside it and "<3 always wins" it's REALLY cute.
Anywho, I want to make it a complete gift and tie other things into it. I was thinking of maybe putting movie tickets in there, some candy.. What else? Any original ideas?
Was thinking even a scavenger hunt of some sort but I don't know. I'm willing to get cheesy this year. haha.
I also have a white horse I could use in this. I don't know how, but just throwing that out there. (We're both in our twenties, this is our second Valentines Day together.) Any ideas?! =D
Thank you!

He gave me an expensive present..

Posted Saturday December 21 2013, 11:08 am

I'm 15 and there is this boy that I like at school, we're not together or anything though.

Anyway, I bought Christmas presents for a few of the boys in my english class (including him), spending just over £2 on each of them (they all got the same thing). The next day he gave me a present back (even though I'd said he didn't have to) and it was a £10 box of chocolates. I feel bad that he's spent so much more than I did and also treated me differently to other people (he didn't buy anyone else a present..).

I'm not really sure what to do now or whether I should suggest that we maybe meet up at some point in the Christmas holidays? We're both quite shy people so I don't want to make anything awkward.

Christmas present?!?

Posted Friday December 20 2013, 8:39 pm

My boyfriend and I have been officially been together a year. On and off before for two years.. He ordered me a pair of Swarovski earrings I wanted and let me pick a few presents myself with his credit card.. We haven't had the best relationship a lot of fighting etc.. He told me he got me another present that I am going to shit myself when I see it those were the exact words.. And that it was small.. His mom told me she saw it and she was so surprised coming from him and it really came from the heart.... I'm so confused first thing I thought was a ring but I don't know... What else really comes from the heart and I'd shit myself when I see it??

What could be a good inscription?

Posted Thursday December 5 2013, 2:43 am

I wanted to give my BF a nice piece of jewelry. I was thinking a necklace with a pendant or some sorts. I would just like to ask what can be a good inscription on it. Something that we can pass on to our kids, or grankids. Thanks.

Hey guys.. I'm super excited because my one year anniversary with my boyfriend is coming up this Saturday. Problem is I don't know what to give him because he is doing well financially and he can basically afford anything he wants.
I only came up with this- puting my favorite picture of us(from a studio photo shoot)into a nice frame.
Or..buying lingerie, candles and wine and having mind blowing sex :-)

HELP.

I am afraid our wedding guests will show up empty handed and not give us anything for our future.

Posted Thursday September 12 2013, 3:22 pm

I am getting married next month, One of my biggest concerns to the wedding are guest possibly showing up empty handed. My fiance has invited a lot of work friends which is fine but many of them are in their early 20's.

I have a friend of mine also whom complains often about how she is broke. My friend was firmerly in the bridal party as a bridesmaid but told me she couldn't afford a dress. I was fine with this, I told her she can come as a guest. Niw lately she has been talking about getting a tattoo and how ahe will be left with little to money after. Which raises my concerns to whether she plans on bringing anything. I don't want to sound greedy but my fiance and I are relying on the gift money for ...

Gift for a 1 year old

Posted Wednesday September 11 2013, 8:18 pm

My brother's girlfriend invited me to a birthday party for her son, he will be 1. I'm not sure what kind of things to get a 1 year old. He just started walking, and he isn't much interested in his baby toys any more, but I don't think 1 is old enough to appreciate older kid toys like action figures and such. Maybe I'm thinking too hard about it but I don't want to show up with nothing.

I don't have kids and haven't had to buy gifts for younger kids so I just need some ideas!

Showing Appreciation for My Mom

Posted Tuesday August 20 2013, 2:56 pm

I'm a thirteen-year-old girl, and I have an amazing mom. She does so much for me, and I want to show her how much I appreciate her. She's always there for me when I need to talk to her or if I need help with something. Recently, for instance, she let me try home school when I was so unhappy with regular school.

She does so much for me, and I want to do something for her, too -- something that will show her I really care about and appreciate her. Thank you!
