How to get town to expand recycling program?

I recently moved to a small town in Texas from a town in New Jersey, and am surprised that each home doesn't get recycling bins or anything like there was where I lived in NJ. A lot of money can be made from recycling right? And its good for the environment. But in the town I'm in now you can only put recyclable materials in a place at the municipal building. I dont think that is convenient for most people.. and most people would recycle if they had a bin they just had to put stuff in and then a truck can take it away.
What can I do to get my town to have a program like that? What articles can I read about this topic so I can know more about the facts? Cause I don't know much on the topic but its definitely something I want t...

Is there anything I can do to make my town more bicycle friendly?

I live in a small suburb of Dallas, and in my neighborhood you can ride your bike on the sidewalks or on the street, but when you try to ride out of the neighborhood its unsafe. on both sides of the road are long ditches, which are to protect the area against flooding I'm assuming. its unsafe to ride on these roads cause if a car was coming I couldn't go to the side of the road to let them pass, because I could risk falling like several feet, and probably landing in snakes, poison ivy, etc. not to mention the risk of broken bones.
For the last 10 years the town has been growing rapidly from a really rural area. the high school is only like 2 years old. I'm 16 btw, and my family moved to this town a few months ago. So the road...

hi! how should i stretch out right?

I'm doing TaeKwonDo, and I'm pretty happy with everything, but my right leg is super noticeably more stretched out then my left leg, so, how do I make them equal? i stretch out every day, so if someone could please answer me before another belt test, i would be very pleased! thx guys!

Which would you rather donate to?

Personally, would you prefer to donate you own money to
a)your community and/or country
b)other countries who live in a higher poverty(kenya, chad, Haiti)
Would your donation depend on the cause.(eg. money for food.Money for shelter.Money for sanatation. money to help orphans)
i would just like to know because i am interested in holding a fundraiser at my school but am still unsure of where to give the money. Where would you care more to donate to?
(Am especially weary of Haiti because so many have donated so much there already)

Doner issues?

Alright well in school this week we learned about doner donations and how you sign it when you get your liciense, or something like that if you want to donate your organs when you die(I'm already aware of it). But what I learned is that many students in my class (including me) will be a doner but almost 100% of us didn't tell our parents. And we have to because of noone knows, then there's be a huge argument abut it when I die.
And I told my parents but they completely disagree and said no! And they're Buddists (I'm not) but we learn about other religions in school and that religion is totally okay with it so it's just them.
I just don't see why you would not when y...

mission trip

id like to go on a mission trip to haiti.
i researched a little online, but i couldnt find any that would pay for my fare out there.
all i found were websites that said i had to pay for my own fare, room and board, etc. which would end up costing me $1500-1600.
i dont have that kind of money, but i really would like to go and help out as much as i can.
does anyone know anywhere i could possibly look into that would be a little bit cheaper?

I need information on the U.S army rangers and ariborne. I plan on joining up nest July, but i don't know much about the training or requirements. Yes i have talked to recruiters and they gave a load of bull, according to my friend in Iraq. who also is going to tyry and get into the same traing as I am after his tour.
P.S i do not ever want to do air force or navy , my minds made up!!!!!!

Building a school

Hello, 18/m.
I want to raise money to build a school in india. Just because education is the key to unlock the potential, and it isnt really fair how some children dont get it. So i have a few questions:
1. any money raising ideas?
2. Once i have collected the money needed...what next? what are the laws? do i just pay for the building. Do i contact the government? i am really confused about it.
I think its quite possible to collect the money, its just how to go about the building and planning. Any help? thanks.

"the look"

can someone please explain "the look" to me, my friend described it as 'a look you get from a guy that likes you, his face changes, he looks more happy and his eyes, he just gets this crazy look in his eyes that screams I LIKE YOUUU!' i dont see it though, i see just a look, like hey whats up haha. she is a relationship whiz and it's crazy how right she is i just dont know what to look for when he looks at me. so can someone explain "the look". answer: if i get "the look" does that mean he likes me? what do i look at when he's looking at me? into his eyes?

A company I work with is starting a magazine and each employee needs to have their own article/column. I need ideas for what kind of colums magazines have so I know what I should write about. Examples are fashion, sports, nutrition, gossip, product review, hair and make up, how to, advice, etc.... Long story short
The boyfriend and i are sitting in our apartment hosting a small birthday party, about 6 people, drinking a pony keg being fairly quiet and just hanging out.
My room mates boyfriend (whom also lives there) decides he is going to invite 15 people over. They are very loud and obnoxiuos, i go out and tell them to shut the hell up. All of the sudden they all run to the parking lot get in a fight. Cops are called, everyone runs into the apartment. We are all minors so we lock the door and get down to be quiet. The police say "were going to bust down the door" (they can not) but this scares some dumb ass kid into hopping out the window. ALl the police jump in the window we get on the ground. They confisc...

I went to the invisible children website, and watched you tube videos about it, but i'm still a little confused. ok, why did they get their homes taken away from them? why did the kids get abducted and made into soliders? who is doing that? why are they? is the bill going to pass or is it? what is the school for school thing? i want to help, but i don't really understand that well. i know i'm probably totally missing it, but yeah. can someone explain it to me? & how can i help? i think i would buy a tshirt or something, & help spread the word. (i don't really have much money to donate like all the time. this is the best for me, i think.)

giving police a statement

sorry didn't know what catagory to put this under but ..
if the police ask for my statement about something that happened, it has nothing to do with me and i was not there. do i have to give it to them?
