My brother's friend who is about 20 years old just lost a significant amount of weight. However, he never expressed a desire to lose weight to any of us, so I'm wondering...would it be appropriate to tell him he looks good??? How would I even word that?

SO-- my boyfriend and I have been together five years and plan on marrying. We're not yet engaged, but we know that the timeline is so sensitive with us-- he starts medical school in August, and I want to be a newlywed with him for at least a month before school starts, and both of us have leases that end July 1st. Clearly, a perfect wedding date would be late June or early July. Sooner than that would put us living in my crappy apartment (with my roommate) for our first month of married life before we can move to campus, and later than June would put our wedding too close to the first day of school. My son has played football for his school for 4 years now. He's never really been given an opportunity to play the position he wants. My wife and my son talked to the coach about it. He assured them that my son works hard in practice and the coach told him if stayed where he was he would be a starter. He also told my son that if he ever had a problem that he shouldn't be afraid to talk to him. He assured him that he was there to help in any way. It's been 4 games into the season and my son hasn't played a down. My son decided to tell the coach he had a problem and would like to talk to him. Please read this before replying, thanks. I'm a fan of semi-retired actor and comedian Bill Daily. I heard from some other fans of his that he likes to talk to his fans but I don't know if I should call him or not. I wrote to him and included my contact information.A friend and I found his number online and others have said he calls them when they wrote to him and included their info. But I'm wondering if I can call him first? A friend and I wrote to him and asked if that's okay but we haven't heard back yet. I'm wondering what others think about this.

got drunk and stupid

So last night I was at a party and I got really drunk and I ended up making out with a couple people including these two girls. Everyone was drunk and the only reason I made out with the girls was because these guys were egging us on. I'm not a prude and this wasn't like the first time but I just feel really awkward about it now. I'm kind of dreading seeing them in school and stuff. Idk I guess I'm just looking for words of advice to get through this in the least awkward way possible.

How do you become Self-Motivated?

I'm not driven at all, in any area of my life.
Partly because I'm depressed, but I can't blame it all on that. I'm going to try to get help with that soon.
I just want to hear from some people who are self motivated and ask what it is that keeps you so focused and driven with your goals.

I am planning my nephew's sweet sixteen party in a couple weeks. It's going to be a New Orleans Saints theme. My question is: Are 16 year olds too old for goodie bags and if not any suggestions about what should be in them? (I was thinking fleur-de-lis earrings for the girls and black cord fleur-de-lis chains for the boys, but I have no clue what else to put in them.) And do boys call it sweet sixteen or is that just for girls? What about party games??? Please help.

I am going swimming tomorrow but I started my period today, a few days earlier than usual. I absolutely refuse to wear tampons for health reasons so please do not just give me that suggestion. No tampons for me, thank you!
My family has been planning this trip to the water park for weeks now and I can't just back out of it right before we go. I thought that maybe I could wear a pad in the pool and everything would be alright. I'm almost 15 and I thought I could maybe meet some boys at the water park this summer so I really want to go and have fun.
Then, I got to thinking, won't the sticky stuff on the bottom of it come loose in the pool water? The adhesive part. I really don't have any experience with this and ...

We are both 16 and i'm not sure what he means. I have been friends with this guy since I was in second grade. He has always been like a brother to me, so I dont think that this has anything to do with sex. We have never dated or done anything. He helps me when I'm in trouble, but i'm not a bad peron who gets into trouble either. I've never had any desires or urges to become sexual with him and he hasnt either, sometimes he tells me I'm like one of the guys.People keep telling me its only about sex thats why I'm sying its not. He keeps our relationship non sexual, fully respects me, never says anything sexual and is always being nice to me,so what did he mean he wanted to teach me about life?

Responding to 50th birthday invitation

My wife and I were invited to a 50th birthday party for the partner of my daughters mother in law. My daughter is getting divorced from her son very soon. The party is at the mother in laws house. Our daughter was not invited. We have no ill will against the hosts- our granddaughter will be there and we'd love to see her. Is it proper to attend under these circumstances?

People touching my belongings

I get really annoyed and irritated when my sister or anyone just touches my stuff and even TAKING without asking me. For instance, my sister always takes my stuff, like clothes, booze from my closet without asking me and by the time I find out, she just says "Sorry" or "I thought you didn't know" but keeps doing it and it's really frustrating. She thinks I'm selfish but isn't it a common curtesy to not touch other people's belongings and ask if they want to take them and people are just different? I'm all for it to share if someone asks me. What can I do the next time she does that?

Baby Shower invitations and no children invited

Baby shower invitations were mailed stating "no children under the age of 12 please" per the expectant mother's request. I just recieved a call from one of the guests asking if she could bring her newborn due to nursing issues. There are several other new mommies invited that have young kids. It is a tea party theme; lots of china and grown up food. How do I handle this without offending this guest and the other Moms that will be here but have not asked if their little ones can come.

Daughter not invited to friends birthday party

My daughter is almost 5 years old, and is not being invited to a friends birthday party. The friend lives a few doors away from us and is one year older than our daughter. They play together often, but are not best buddies. My wife and the neighbours wife are good friends from college days and keep in touch since we live so close. The neighbours daughter is having her 6th birthday party in a couple of weeks, but her mother is not inviting our daughter - only kids from her daughter's kindergarden class. The neighbour told my wife there will be too many kids (6) at the party, but the two girls can get together at another time and do something 'special'.

If the person is away and not at their current address for a while and you sent something out anyways, is their mail held til they get back? or is it returned to you as a RTS and you try again later after you know they are back at that address? thanks!

This is really embarrassing. I went to a nude beach last weekend and I kept getting an erection!
I am sure people noticed! I guess what I need to know is do people find getting hard at a nude beach rude? I wasn't doing it on purpose!
