Why do gay guys like to fake out straight guys online?

I am consistently getting faked out online by gay guys posing as females with female pics and profiles. I would guess more than 70 percent of the people who private message me are men posing as women to flirt with me.
I am a straight guy and this is noted in all my chat profiles. It sucks more females do not message, but what is up with the dudes faking out other dudes? It is annoying and frustrating.
I totally know lying about yourself online is not limited to gay guys or transgender people faking out straight guys. People of all kinds pose as younger or older than they are, richer and more successful, use fake body stats, and obviously fake pictures. When I was under 18 I pretended to be older to talk ...

NEED SERIOUS HELP okay my bf and i have been doing long distance and it's been going pretty good, we do things like text and voice memos all the time but for some reason he just REFUSES to call me. He's done it once and it was great but after that he keeps saying he's too "nervous" or js changes the subject. At first i wanted to give him time to adjust but now it's seriously annoying, every time it's the same "sorry" and broken promise that he'll call me the next time…like I love him but i'm seriously getting tired of this sh**, what should I do???

Lucky 17M dating incredible 17F. My girl’s sister goes with us on most dates because the sister broke up with her guy (who was awful). I have a guy that I have liked for quite some time and I think he's a bit of a jerk then I'm confused about what to think about him. In person he seems to like being around me or sometimes finds ways to be near me. We don't talk much. He might be autistic but I'm okay with that. My boyfriend Drew proposed marriage on a romantic camping trip about 2 months ago. I panicked and said I would have to “think about it.” He was gracious and said he would keep the ring in his pocket until I was ready to decide and said he respected my need to consider my options.
