Ok so i dated this guy and we met on a cruise and i was totally in love with him. Oh and im 14/f. And like 2 months ago he broke up with me and i was a mess. I thouggt i could get over him and date someone else and i did and it didnt work out and i still have HUGE feelings for him and i cant get over him and i get soo sad and i dont know how to het over him. :(

Why do some people make fun of black women for wearing their hair natural?

I wear my hair natural during summer and the school year. I have hair that touches my shoulder and most of the time I wear it with a headband or scrunchie. Nothing too fancy.

or I wear it in a ponytail.
It seems like everybody else I know think that my hair is cute and say I'm unique. But I get insulted during the school year by people my age. They ask me why I don't perm my hair, the guys are rude too. Not all of the kids are like that, but most of them.
I'm thinking wtf did I do? I just walk away because it was not worth starting an argument with bumbling idiots.

Heya* I'm 13 F. Me and this boy started dating a week ago. And I really like him. I have never felt like this before. He is very loving abd caring. He doesn't want stuff like blow jobs or sex or stuff that makes me get naked. I want to know how to act when I meet him the firt time? Should I hug kiss what should I do???? Oh and he is 14.

Nervous while talking with supervisor, professor....

when I talk to my supervisor at work and when he tells me something i don't seem to retain details.. also i go to see professor at his office and when he explains me, i look very slow to understand.. mostly at the office setting.... but at classroom, i am much much quicker. this is frustrating to me. I try looking at other person's eyes mostly when i talk, just my habit.. not to show them that i am not scared or anything.. i nod my head when they talk as if i have understood everything but in fact those voices don't even register in my brain.. my guess is i try to concentrate too much and lots of thoughts run at back of my head when other are speaking ...sometime i don't have confident but most of the time i feel like i am over confident.. ...

Babysitting

Hello, I am 18 and a babysitter. I babysit a little 2 year old for a couple who is 22 and 23. I watch him from the time the mom leaves for work at around 10:00 am to when the dad gets home from work which is around 5:30. My parents have to drop me off and pick me up because we only have 2 cars and they take one to work and my brother takes one to work. So, when the dad gets home, I hang out until one of my parents comes for me. We talk sometimes but I realized it's real awkward. Like, when we talk, we don't look each other in the eyes but when we do, he smiles a lot. He asks me about my life and seems genuinely interested when I talk about it. we started talkin the day of his birthday because his cousin carolina (whos my good friend) was talking about him to me.. we were on facebook and she poked him off my page as a joke, he poked me back and added me. We started talking and we got a long great..(ive never seen him face to face)

Sometimes she's really nice to me, and calls/texts me. And sometimes she just doesn't.

Unequal Pay

I am a young woman who works in a fairly popular higher-end retail store. It has recently come to my attention that a male counterpart who was hired at the same time as me and has the same job title earns 20 cents more than I do. I know it's a fairly small discrepancy, but to me, it's the principal of the thing. I want to have this matter addressed, but I'm afraid of confrontation and I don't want to rock to boat or cause my manager to lose her job. What do I do?

What do you do . when someone is mad at you.... you apologized? they don't respond back. I swore to God that i would leave them alone. but still i want to talk to them like i want them to talk to me. and i'm talking about this one guy he is like a big brother to me seriously. but i don't know. he is angry i told one person something i didn't tell him. i was mad at that time though. so i didn't feel like repeating myself. when i'm mad or sad i only need one listening ear you know? i hate repeating myself . please someone ....i think i know i should just wait. until he talks to me but i don't know . any ideas? on what i should do to keep myself from thinking about it?

there is this guy in my grade that i really like and he use to like me too and he also said it to me and told me he loves me and everything and even when i said no didnt like him back i actually did and now we do not even talk and everything and i really like him but he doesnt like me the same way anymore so is there anyway i can get him to like me the way he did before?

For about, maybe... 1 Week, I have been going to this camp that my friends have been going to. And let me say... I've been hit on a lot. But not as bad. Im just going to sum up this story.
On the first day, I was called "Sexy" and "Hot" a lot. I wasn't really worried about it. And then this guy, he's a year older then me (Im 14), started getting really... "Colorful" with me. coworkers that are trouble makers and unemployment

I have been a nurse for 30 years. Recently I encountered the co-workers from hell. I realized that the company had trouble keeping new nurses in this area, and I could see why..The two young nurses that primarily worked there, had an attitude that they were better than everyone else. I gently explained that in the nursing world I've seen this before, and if they ever want a day off, they need to think about the disparaging comments they make about all the "incompetent" nurses they've worked with, and help new nurses learn their job instead of spending their energy putting them down.

I am kind of shy right now, and I really want to meet the -RIGHT- Guy..
And tips?
I want to become one of those obnoxious girls that get along with anyone. But I'm scared of looking/feeling dumb.
And suggestions on what I should do?

Boss Personal Issues

My boss is a physician and is going thru a divorce. Very quickly he already has a girlfriend. I am his office manager and long time friend as I have worked for him for 20 years. All of a sudden his demeanor has changed drastically and I believe he is going to hire his girlfriend to work at the office. I see major problems with this but don't feel I can say anything to him as he is totally whipped with this female. I see big trouble coming. He has hinted that this woman is married and a doctor!!! He is treating the staff very harshly and rude. I don't have a large staff either. Should I just wait to see what happens? I am afraid for some of my staff and their positions. This woman sounds and acts like she is going to come in like a bulldozer. Aargh! What to do? What to say?

I'm in middle school and I've liked this guy for a year and I just can't get over it because I don't understand him and he sends mixed signals. The thing is we're suppose to "hate" each other and I think he does or at least acts like it. I didn't want him to know I like him and my friends just RUINED IT. I didn't tell NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE that i like him. I can't i hate myself for even thinking about him (which i do often). I am a high school teacher & I'm teaching summer school this year. there is a student that I've known for a couple of years & I've taught her in the 8th grade also.
She has a crush on me, and it's pretty obvious. She blushes & smiles when I talk to her.
She told her friends who told another friend and so on, now loads of students know. She always finds some way to draw attention to herself, so I have to pay attention to her loads.
She is a good student & she's smart, but she tries to flirt with me, I don't flirt. I don't think she's trying to do anything inappropriate, but she's just always trying to get my attention. I'm nice to her and I treat her like everyon...
