My Kitten Isnt Eatten Dry Food

My Kitten seems to like wet food better than dry food. My question is how can you get a cat to eat dry food. Because right now with our budget, we cant afford wet food. x.x Any advice?

Scabs on my cat's face and ears

My cat is a few years old now and in the past few weeks shes started to develop scabs on her ears and her nose area...and it seems like shes only doing so because she is scratching. My cat has always been a little obsessive about cleaning herself, I have other cats that aren't nearly as persistent as she is so maybe that has something to do with it?
My mom doesn't have the money to take her to the vet right now(which is the reason why we've been putting it off) and it doesn't seem like anything serious so we aren't TOO worried...I'm just a bit concerned so I've decided that until we have the money for a vet visit I'll do some home doctor work. I was going to cut her nails but she isn't the sort of cat who will let you just do...

Betta Fish.

Okay i just got a betta fish, and i have two questions.
I need a name for HIM. He is all white.. kinda
creamy but all white. And all my friends can come up with is Scotch, i kinda want it to be creative.. no just like MARK or somehting.
And is it true that you can feed betta fish anything really.. like any type of fish food or do they need the special BETTA fish food??

Hey I need help convincing my parents to get me a snake! I want one soo bad, and I'd do pretty much anything for it. So how can I persuade them? Have any of you done it before, and have any pointers?

When Cat's Wink

Strange Question:
What does it mean when a cat winks at you? I was sitting in my room this morning, and then looked behind me and saw my cat. I was like "Where the hell did you come from?" and then she winked it me!
Anybody know what that signifies? I've Google searched it to no avail.

well mark has this one stuff on his nose, it looks like it hurts him..and he floats at the top of his bowl..i read some stuff and it could mean he is lacking oxygen
but also he is spitting white stuff from his mouth
and i have no idea what to do :(

I got a pup when I was in about 4th grade. I'm in my junior year now. He's 9 years old. I find this strange that when I look at other dogs and meet them.. they are just animals.. pets.. dogs to me.. But when I'm with my dog, he's not just someone [hah, an animal] you go "aww cute" and pet.. Isn't that strange? I treat my dog almost like a person and he gets the affection he deserves.. but other dogs.. I don't know how to explain this.. But why am I thinking like this? Is it just because I grew up with him and he became so familiar? He does not act like a normal dog you can say. He's not hyper and he's not confusing to me or unpredictable. I can tell when he's sad, sick or in pain. I feel out of place. I met my cousins new puppy ...

Stray Cat

I've seen this cat around my yard. I can garentee that it's not owned because I live in a small neighborhood, and everyone in it has atleast 2 dogs. The cat lives in a trash pile basicly that me and my family has colected over the year, and it's gotten bigger. Well I want to save this cat before winter comes, it will freze to death! My dogs, one I got was from a family that was broken up and the little dog had no where to go and my family took her in and we now call her Keylii. The other one is a lot bigger then Keylii who is a Tea-cup Pamerian, and his names Bear. Well they've bothc ome from familys that has had cats in the house so my dogs will get along with the cat, but how am I going to get it to come to me? I wana feed it, it's been g...

i just got a new puppy. an american eskimo. and shes 9 months old.
we have her outside a lot. but she never uses the bathroom outside. instead she pees and poops inside. which is not good, obviously.
help? :/ i dont wanna get rid of her.

ok, i have 3 questions. so me and my boyfriend went to this horseback riding place and my horse went nuts haha. like all the trails connected back to the trail to go back to the ranch or whatever, but anyways we got to that part and were gunna go onto this different trail but my horse wasnt going when i was pulling on the right reign thing and kicking it, it just kept flinging its head all over the place up in the air. so the guide person came over with his horse and tried pulling on the reigns to get it to go but it didnt work. then the horse just started like charging back to the ranch and i was pulling on the reigns and it wouldnt stop and since it was flinging its head all around both reigns got flung on the right side, so i felt pretty...

Bird Cage Cleaning

Hi.
I just got a bird yesterday and he has started getting used to the living room (where we put him) His diet is fine and he plays with the toys we put in and goes to the bathrrom in his cage. My question is, how often should I change the newspaper at the bottom of the cage? My mom says every day so it doesn't stink up the whole house, but I think that every other day would be okay, because I can't smell anything. The guy at the pet store said that we have to play it by ear, or nose, but I don't smell anything and the paper isn't that gross. How often should I change the paper??

What are good names for this puppy?

I am probably getting a dog if this week with her works out (I have another dog already and we have to see if they get along well... so far they are fine together.) She looks very German Shepherd but she's small. She's very quiet and sweet. I can't think of a good name for her though. Here is her picture:

My kitten 6 months

okay my kitten is 6month i got him and at a flea market. hes been having the runs latly and sleeps a little to much my mom brought home a kitten the same age 2 weeks ago and was playful and crapped normal. he doesnt really care for dry food but eat canned his water habits are normal. i just want to know whats up.

dog car sickness

in a couple days, im going on a 6 hour car ride, and i have to take my dog. hes been in the car a few times, but only for short periods of time. and whenever he goes for car rides, he pants and drools all over the place. is there anything i can get at a pet store or vets to give him to help with the car sickness?
