How do I get my mom to buy me clothes

I am only 10going on 11and I have the worries and stress of an average teen! First off we are NOT poor! My mom is a doctor and my dad is a pharmacist. They don't have to pay for childcare cause my dad works when my is off.i have literally clothes that would be considered " babyish" for a 7 year old. I have very little clothes. Please don't think I'm a spoiled brat who is complaining when she doesn't get what she wants. In 2nd grade rumors were going around because if my clothes.everybody expet for my 2 friends looked at me like a was a monster. This has been going on scince then, but I try to ignore it. I am willing to pay for it from my own $but my mom says I have enough clothes. Am I crazy for wanting more clothes??am I ungrateful? According to my mom I am. HELP???

How does being in jail change a person?

My mother is currently in jail for a financial crime for eight months. I have no problem with my mother and She was a good mother. Before this misdeed though I am wondering if now it might be hypocritical for me to listen to her now that she is a criminal. One thing I wonder is how being in jail will change her. Obviously spending eight months there would change you somewhat. I mean now that my mom is a criminal and will be surrounded by other criminals for eight months. I've talked to her on the phone and she seems the same but I still wonder. One positive that may come from this, maybe she will go easier on me. Though that could be a bad thing I guess

I am a 49 year old woman. My question is concerning my mother and my 53 year old brother. My dad passed away 17 years ago. I was married at the time, my oldest brother, I will call him Fred, lived with my parents. Fred is an alcoholic and a chronic marijuana smoker. My mom interfered when my dad attempted to make a man out of him. She has always been immensely partial to her sons. My other brother is married with 5 kids. I think marrying at a young age and having a large family is what saved him from eternal childhood, unlike Fred. Recently, I have had to move in with my mom due to financial difficulties. Inlaws don't think I contribute enough to the household

I am a 33yo female with a fiancee (38) and a baby girl (10 mos). Because of financial problems that my fiancee incurred after a loss of a job (for three years) and a baby, we begrudgingly decided to move into my almost in-law's house for a year to try to recover and start our lives over. His mother is old school Russian. Never leaves the house. Goes to and from the store, etc. Her husband takes care of most stuff and she takes care of the house. She works three days a week and takes care of our baby by choice. I try to get home as quickly as possible to relieve her, but I take a Tuesday night writing class as an outlet for myself and I see a therapist once every two weeks. Family members might be dealing drugs

I suspect my cousin and brother(s) are selling drugs. My cousin who does not live with us runs in and out all the time and goes into my brother's room and leaves abruptly. This has been going on for months. Today as I was arriving home from the grocers, my cousin and a group of guys I have never seen before were standing outside. My cousin came up to me before I could get out of the car asking me if I had the key and saying that he has been trying to get in. Why would i not have a key? He then told the guys that he would be right back and entered the house with me. My mom is disabled and so am I, we live in subsidized housing and could be homeless if drugs are found in our house. My family is falling apart

I'm 15f and I sit in my room on certain nights crying cause I can hear my mom and dad fighting and either my dad is drunk or something else I want them to stop but i can't do anything as I'm their kid I can't tell them no I have two younger sibling who are nine and five I look out for them and I can't take it anymore I don't know what to do any more they don't get violent but they do scream at each other and I have to distract my sister and brother so they don't hear it I can't cry in front of my siblings cause they will know something is wrong I just can't do it anymore

How do I ask to see a gynecologist?

I've got some concerns about my health, um, down there, and I want to go see a gynecologist. I recently turned 18, but I am still under my parents' health insurance.
Up until recently I've been going to a pediatrician. For my next check up, I need to find a new doctor - but I don't know when that will be.
I just don't feel comfortable asking my mom to make me an appointment with a gynecologist. Usually, you start going to those when you are sexually active, and I don't want my mom to think that I am. Even though I'm legally an adult, I'm still her kid, and it would still freak her out to think that I'm having sex. Im a 15 year old girl and always had good relationshiops with my mother.As I knew she loves playing Scrable i shown her a website to play...she loved it but as she was playng she started talking with others using that site...she is not mentioning anything personal just chat...but she has overdone it..she plays 19 hours a day and sleeps for the rest of it...she doesn't do any housework..half of my clothes are waiting to be ironed for 3 months...the only think she thinks about is the players she are talking with...she always takes my laptop and begs my aunt when i don't give it to her...if i can persuade her to pay attention to me she only says about what she was talking about playing Scrable...whenever i try controling the hours she is playi...

My Brother is turning gay

Omg lately my brother has been acting like a girl...hes eight but i think hes turning gay...he asked me if i could paint his nails....but i dont know if hes kidding or not.....but then he acts totally gross and gets on top of me and my sister and i push him of and beat him and tell him to stop but hes gross and he wont listen

My dad as asked if I want to visit her because she might appreciate a visit and it could be an "Educational experience" (what does that mean?). I have no problem with my mom, other than this misdeed she did she was a good mother and never did anything to me. But I don't know if I should subject myself to a jail environment just to see her for a little while.
also, what is it like to live in jail? I am kind of curious what my mother's day to day doings are now. I was thinking of asking her myself but it probably wouldn't be nice to make her talk about that

I am a young 46 yr old Grammy to two boys ages 8 yrs old and 20 months old. I am extremely close to them as well as my daughter, mother and father. I got fired from my job in 2011 and have been unemployed since. I have been watching my grandsons (older one in school during school year) everyday mon - fri 9 hrs a day since then.
I got married last September to a man I've known since childhood. He has been living in North Carolina since he was 18 but moved back up here 5 yrs ago. He wants so badly to move back down there because he has a captains license and can easily find work there. Work that he enjoys. My parents are currently divorcing and they keep dragging me and my sister into it. Im 23, sister is 18. But I keep telling them to leave us out of it. Everyday they want to talk about what they should do. Is this really a problem that I have to deal with?

I am getting married in a few months. My parents are divirced and my father has never really tried to initiate contact with me. Now that I have been planning a wedding, I seem to be resenting my father for loss of time abd not trying. I asked my mother to walk me, my step father is a JOP who will take the honors of marrying us. i started dating this guy and really thought he was the one..but when i introduced him to my family they hated him..so we kept going out and he came to support me in a pagent i was doing and afterwards my parents told me i had to choose between him and them and if i choose him i ad to move out.So i choose them but didnt have the heart to tell my bf and so the other night i did and now he has turned really horrible to me telling me he never cared about me knowing that it hurts..any advice?
