i'm on the cheer squad this year, and I REALLY want to stay in shape, i'm a bit overweight, not obese, but i have a bit of pudge.
i'm 15 and i weigh 130 and am 5'4.
i need a diet plan to help me loose about ten pounds, and then then maintain that weight.
PLEEEASE help
i also am starting to work out about three times a week for an hour and a half.

sick, but gained weight? Posted Wednesday August 8 2007, 10:31 pm
i became sick from anesthesia, so i had nothing in my stomach for about a day. the next day i began to eat normally (maybe even a little less then usual). the third day i ate completely normal...how i usually eat. i weighed myself and i am FIVE POUNDS HEAVIER THEN I WAS WHEN I BECAME SICK. why would this happen? will my weight go back down to what it always is? is there an explanation for this?

What do I have to do to get great, beautiful, fair, light, milky, healthy, soft skin?
And I'm talking about my whole body, not about acne and pimples.
I mean just naturally beautiful skin like celebs. I'm sure there have a certain diet or way or regime they follow for they're great beautiful skin other then make up.
What is it?

Hi im f/15
i way 110 and im 5 feet. i am a skinny girl just my stomich pops out. like u would thinkim relly skinnny but if u see my stomich in a tight shirt its kinda of gross. like it pop out.
i looooooooove carbs!! is there a diet or soemhting i can do that includes carbs? or what can i do to loose 5-10 pounds?
i go to the gym a lot

I've had an eating disorder for a few months now. I was recently diagnosed with Mono in June and I'm almost done with it. The reason why I'm including this in my question is because since your spleen enlarges due to Mono, I haven't ran in awhile. I used to run on a daily basis & eat regularly, but was still on a diet. When I ran a few times a week, I weighed around 130-135 lbs and I'm in the 5'7-5'9 range. I was basically average, but still had an eating problem. I haven't ran for 2 months [since Mono] & I now weigh 122 lbs. I do like running, but I had a few questions. First of all, I'm not sure when it would be okay for me to exercise regularly because my spleen is still a bit sore & tender. Also, since I haven't been exercisi...

Juices do have a lot of sugar, so I always buy the bottles that say 'No Sugar Added', but I read in a magazine that drinks are actually how a lot of people gain weight. For example, sodas, iced teas, lemonades, juices, etc. I like having apple juice & orange juice. I'm not sure what to do about the whole sugar thing. Would it be okay to have a cup or two of juice a day?? My throat is always dry between meals & I dislike having water all the time. Any suggestions?? Oh & I also drink milk regularly. Thanks!!

I would like to eat more healthier and well i dont know what to buy when i go to the grocery store with my mom, like other then bananas and apples and grapes. What are some specific healthy things to get, fat free things maybe?,things big in fiber?. I just need a list of things,be specific dont just say cereal or fruits and veggies, say the kind of fruit or whatever.

when trying to watch my weight, what should i look for? in the beginning, i watched calories. then fat grams. now i'm starting to look at carbs, but i have no idea what i'm doing.
i'd look at everything in a health-wise way, but knowing me, i'd end up starving myself or something.
i don't understand the saturated/trans/regular fats, either.. basically if anything have 8+ fat grams, i stay away.
so, what should i watch for more? also, what should i have in each serving. example for meals, how many calories/how much fat?
and then same for snacks.

My Best friend recently joined advicenators.com. She's an awesome person and devotes her life to helping others, but the only one she really needs to be helping is herself. She has so many problems to be 17. well i guess if your going to help me help her your going to need to know everything. She's anorexic. She only weighs 97lbs and she's 5in. 5ft. obviously that's not healthy. But she claims not to be anorexic. She says she doesn't eat when she's stressed out and she's alwasys stressed out.What should i do?

What actually happens when you're hungry?? What does your body do?? I heard from an article that your fat is stored up, but I also heard from a different article that your body burns off fat?? Any opinions? Thanks!

i lost alot of weight the healthy way. alot of people were concerned about me and i just was happy to loose so much. i dont skip meals, throw up, anything. I eat, sometimes not enough, real healthy. i exercise too. i pretty much just take good care of myself. i got blood tested, and went to the doctor. i am healthy completely.. my missed period is beacuse being active, my blood is normal, liver.. everything, i just lost alot of weight. i am 5'3 and weigh 102. my doctor told me to eat more, which i try. most of the time i just feel guilty of eating, but then i'll be like, "i should eat". mainly i just try to stay the weight i am now, but when i wake up and weight myself it shows i lost weight. i dont really want...

Okay, so I'm only 18(girl) and i am pretty sure i have hemorrhoids. But I'm way to nervous to go to a doctor about it. In every help site iv seen they tell you that constipation is the fault for these buggers...now when your in pain, and have to go number two, what is the best way without screaming in pain from going to the bathroom.

When you're watching your weight, what kind of meals would be the best to have?? I love breakfast foods, so I've been doing cereal in the morning, oatmeal and orange juice at lunch, and eggs and toast for dinner. Is this okay to eat?? I don't put anything on my toast [whole wheat] and put very little butter in the egg pan. Is this too much?? too little?? Obviously I don't have it everyday. Maybe 3 times a week. Sometimes I'll have what my parents make but a smaller sized portion. Sometimes I'll make myself salad with tomatos and spritzer dressings. Am I on the right track?? Oh and also, I always get hungry around 8-9pm at night. What should I do?? Thanks!!

im deffinately nowhere near anorexic but i really want to gain weight because when i bend over you can see every rib and vertebre in my back and it grosses me out to think im that thin. i eat a ton of food every day. fattening stuff too. i work at an ice cream shop and we're allowed to eat whatever we want so im constantly eating all day. i dont know why i can't gain weight. it was like this a few years ago i stayed 75lbs for about 2 years and then my doctor made me go on this diet to gain weight and now i've been 105lbs for two years. i've been tested for a growth defficiency or whatever they called it but i don't have it so i should be gaining weight normally but i dont. one day i weighed 109lbs but i wen...

For dinner my parents are making sloppy joes. How can I eat with them without cheating my diet? Would it be ok if I just grabbed a roll and spread a small spoonful on it to just cover the bottom & didn't take any side dishes? I know it would be better without the roll, but I think I would end up eating more bbq/sloppy joe meat if I didn't eat the roll at all. What are your suggestions? Thanks!

if you eat just breakfast lunch and dinner is that bad for you? if you don't eat snacks. is that giving you enough? i am trying to loose weight and eating healthy doesn't work i just eat too much.. do you think this is a good idea?
