College Student Living at Home

I was going to go away for college until I found out the day after I graduated that I was adopted. I decided I wanted to stay home for a little while. I do not attend community college or junior college. I am in the university. So, there are dorms. As of right now, I am living at home. I live with my mother and my grandparents. Although I love them very much, there are some issues with living with them. For one, my grandparents are older and this IS their home. They have their habits, which I cannot break. For one, my aunt (who lives across the street) comes here EVERY NIGHT to watch soap operas with my grandmother. They are not in a private room watching these quietly. They watch it VERY LOUD in the living room.

Helpp writing a novel!

Okay, so I lovee to write so im writing a novel. I really need ideas because I'm having some serious writers block. It's about a teenage girl named Addison who is told in the beginning by her father that they're moving. They are currently living in a small town, greensboro north carolina and she loves it there. she was born and raised there and she considers no other place home. Her father is a corporate attorney and they are moving because he got a job offer in manhattan, new york city. Addison hates the city she's more of a suburban girl. I havent started writing the part where they actaully get to manhattan yet because im stuckk on what to write. I left off with Addison going to her room after her dad said they're moving. Then what? AP world history, SAT subject test

I took the A.P World History course this year. I am taking the A.P exam may 13th, and i was wondering if it would be a good idea to take the SAT subject test in world history? I definitely want to take multiple SAT subject tests and send my 2 best ones into colleges, and i want to know past experiences and advice. Have you taken both exams? Is one easier than the other? Thank you!

I'm suppost to write a report about english (UK) traditions and stuff. thing is i have no idea what to write. can anyone give me some tips or facts about england i can write into an essay? it's not suppost to be really long or anything.

college in high school essay help!

I am going to be a senior next school year and am applying to a college to take some classes while still in high school for high school and college credits. I have to write an essay on why I want to do this and what classes I want to take. I have the basics written but I'm having a hard time with adding detail because it has to be 5 paragraphs. the reasons I have are it will let me see what college is like and I want to do something different my senior year.
any ideas or suggestions?

I'm in a high school program at a community college, one of the required classes I have to take is a SAT/career preparation. One of the assignments I have to do is write about something that have changed my life that makes me a stronger/better person I am today. When thinking about it, I feel like I have nothing amazing that happened in my life. My professor says to write a personal statement that shows colleges that I'm a strong person and make them want me to go to their school.
My sister suggested an idea which was talk about how I came from a poor family, and what makes me stronger now is that I'm working alot harder in school, trying to get a good education, I started working at a young age, and that's how I ended up at...

new school: Switching from a private school to a public one!

going along with that other girl's question about school.. ok well ive just switched in to this new highschool from a really small private school that i went to for 9 years. all during that time, i was known as the "quiet girl that NEVER talks". i mean, i wasnt a loner, but supposedly i was real quiet. i started going there in kindergarten when i didnt really know the difference and didnt know anyone anyway, so i guess i was quiet then. but now that "impression" has stuck all the way up through 8th grade. when i started at this new HS, i promised myself i wouldnt let that happen again, but i think it has. its been just about a month since school started, and i want to change that before any more time passes by, but i jus...

I am figuring out in advance what I'm going to write in everybody's yearbook this year, or at least trying to get a start on it, and so far the thing I like best are funny superlatives.
The problem is I don't know very many, and I guess I'm not very creative which is why I am getting a head start on yearbook signing LOL!

talents? Talent show?

I want to compete in the school talent show, but how do you find out what your talents are? I don't even know if I have a talent! It seems like everybody else does but all the obvious ones like singing and dancing are things I have no talent at all at.
Can anybody suggest some new talents may be some uncommon ones that I can try out to see if I am good at them?

i have to write a 4 to 5 page research paper on the haggadah. And frankly, i looked online and theres not much i could write something that long of a paper on. I was thining what it meant to the jewish community or ways it survived all these years or the mysteries behind it. I would find one website or two but they would be like a paragraph long but im writing 4 pages about the topic! so i was wonering if anyone had any suggestions with links to website that give a LONG description of the topic. I can write anything about the paper that involves the haggadah so any topic will work. Thank You So So Much!
