diffuser makes my hair poofy!

everytime i blow dry my hair with a diffuser, it ends up being poofy and only a few waves. i have naturally straight hair and before i diffuse it i put some sprunch spray in it (used to make hair like beach waves) and i also put gel in it and scrunch it up. then i blow dry with diffuser. it always ends up being poofy.. what am i doing wrong??

okay. i am 12 years old and i want to wear thongs but im scared to ask my mom. shes cool and will probably say yes but i dont know how to ask her if i can wear them.. do you have any advice?? personal stories would be helpful

I'm not very good at fashion. I love it and all but I never really dress fancy or anything. I really want to get better fashion tips, so I can dress and look better. I have an okay figure (not trying to sound stuck-up) and is 13 years old.

hey, before i say anything.....im am NOT a poser...i just neeed guidence. I am the only girl in MY WHOLE GRADE who is desses like me.I honestly HATE labels...but im seemed to be known as the "emo girl". Instead if refusing it and fighting back, i just accepted it, to cause less trouble and other stuff. That sorta made it worse. Everyone started calling me a poser...and i dont copy anyone thou. I am my own person...but i really need help and guidence...so how do you be emo in middle school without looking like a poser.. (btw i need GUIDENCE, not to copy..)

My best friend and I made a bet over football.. Whoever won, would get to throw pie and like cake batter and other messy things at the loser, and totally mess them up. The agreement was, the loser has to wear their best clothes, which we both picked out at the beginning. This sounded great.... Except I lost, lol. The dress I chose as my best is really gorgeous and elegant, and I have to wear that along with matching heels and accessories. Should I back out? I don't want to look like a wuss but I don't want my nice dress to be ruined.

Hey! I volunteered for a pie in the face thing for my school NHS. People will pay like a few dollars to throw pies at me/other people, and they have a choice between just whipped cream on a plate, or with chocolate sauce added, or finally with cherries added. Haha :D
Which outfit do you think I should wear? I usually dress very fashionable/stylish and I don't want to look like I dressed down in rags for a charity, I think that would look selfish. I want to wear something that looks stylish and will contrast well with the pie. :)

Hey, I've asked about this before asking what to wear, but I'm getting slimed (covered in nickelodeon green slime) tommorrow for a charity fundraiser. Everyone I asked including friends and people on here said i should get dressed up to get slimed because it would be funnier, so I'm going to wear my white full-length dress from prom with silver heels. How should i do my hair? I'd like something formal that will look funny when it gets slimed and will go from being all neat and formal to being matted down. Maybe something with lots of volume? Any advice? Thanks :)

bleaching gone wrong...

So today I decided to be spontaneous (bad idea) and attempt to go blond. I have med/dark brown hair. I ended up at the drug store and came back with Loreal Super Blonde... its a bleach. So I did everything according to the instructions and when all was said and done, most of my hair ended up a light brown which looks pretty nice, but the top of my head (probably 2 inches from each side of my scalp) is a horrid yellow/orange. I know the typical piece of advice would be for me to seek professional help. But honestly, I do not have the money for that right now. I've contemplated 2 options: using a blond dye over everything and hoping for the best... or just re-dying it my natural color, or almost black. Would black do the trick? I am helpless. How to color dark hair blue without bleach

I want to color my hair bright blue without using bleach to lighten it first. I have dark brown hair and I am desperate to make it blue. I heard about trying kool-aid but my mom said kool aid is only for light hair like for blondes. So, how can I dye my hair blue and get good results? I heard using bleach will damage it really bad and cause it to dry out a lot and not take the blue color right. So what do I do?

I'm 13 and I want my bellybutton pierced. I talked to my mom and she said it was illegal and that you have to be 18. I don't want to wait until I'm 18. My bf thinks it would be really sexy if I got it done and I want to get it pierced now. I told my mom to lie for me and that I promise I'll take care of it. she wont listen! What do I do? Can I pierce it at home myself or something?

What is a good eyeliner that stays on all day and doesn't smudge or smear?

I have tried a few different eyeliners and they all seem to be cheap or something. They end up fading off, smudging, or being smeared over and look weird and ugly at the end of the day. I have gym class this year and I don't know if it's because I have to run sometimes or what but my current eyeliner still isn't doing what I need it to do. Does anyone have a favorite eyeliner that stays on all day and doesn't look gross at the end? thanks
