Ok so labor day picnics are filled with junk food. I did a bit of checking around & the one I'm going to is going to have the basic burger & hotdog deal. I want to really stick to my diet so I was thinking of definiately planning ahead. Since it's going to be in the afternoon, I was going to eat a bowl of cereal like I normally do for breakfast & then at the picnic I was going to take one burger and put a bit of ketchup to dip into on the side, no bun & no cheese. Then I was going to have corn on the cob with no butter & no salt. Would the burger with a bit of ketchup be overloading it?? I'm a very light eater. Does anyone know accurate nutrition facts?? I was told it was approximately 280 calories with 13g of fat. Any ideas/opinions?? Thanks!!

ok they say a every other day washing would make your hair healthier but i have to wash my hair everyday because it is curly...i have also heard putting mayonaise in it once a week would help it but that is gross...do you have any ungross advice for me to grow my hair?

Hi, i'm in high school going to be a senior this year and i really want to lose weight and be skinny and like i was in egypt and i think i gained weight, because in egypt they feed you alot when it comes to cuzin's but you get the point. anyways i would love to lose weight fast before school starts. one i have a belly which is not that big but looks a bit big and a not a small or big but just a lil big but not too too big and i'm short so that is not good and i can't help my self when it comes to eating junk food. i did try to lose weight but it's inpossible and i do eat at night which is not good for me at all and usually i get hungry at night but i try to lay it off. (and no i'm not pregnant)

for about a week now, i haven't been able to eat as much as i normally do. i usually have a normal portion of breakfast lunch and dinner but in the past week i havent been able to eat anything but a couple bites and i feel like im going to be sick. is there something wrong with me? i've tried eating more but then i just feel really sick all day long. i've been pretty stressed out the past few days but this eating thing started a couple days before that. im getting nervous because i feel light headed and ive already lost a couple pounds. im 5' 2'' and about 100 lbs if that helps w/ anything

I'm on a pretty strict diet & I was wondering what to do about a meal. My family is all getting together to have Pork & Saurkraut with mashed potatos. I'm not quite sure the nutrition facts of it because all recipes are different & what not. Should I eat lightly that day & pick around here & there?? Maybe a small piece of pork, a bit of saurkraut & a scoop or two of mashed potatos?? Any ideas?? I'm basically just watching my calorie intake & grams of fat. I'm not too concerned about anything else. Thanks!!

I'm on a diet & I had one bowl of chili for dinner. It consisted of beef, tomato sauce, stewed tomatos, kidney beans, rice & topped with croutons. I had a full bowl, since that was going to be my main dinner, but I avoided cheese & sour cream. Do you think this ruined my diet?? I feel like it did. Other than high sodium, is there anything else wrong with it?? I thought it was somewhat low in fat, since it was just ground beef. Any ideas?? Thanks!!

So today I sorta blew it, and ate too much ( WAY TOO MUCH SNACKING) and then around 5:30 my friend called to tell me her family was going out to eat and asked if I wanted to go- I'm staying w/ her this weekend cause my parents are out of town. So I said yes- but I am regretting saying that cause I have already eaten so much today. How can I get out of going? Or should I just not bother and eat again? Or should I go but tell them I already ate, (before 5:30?)??? I feel fat right now and I don't know what to do now!

I'm on a diet & I'm eating out with my friends tomorrow & were going to go to this place called The Pita Pit. They have a nutritional information chart online but I'm not sure how accurate it is. I was going to get a pita with turkey breast, lettuce, tomato, & honey mustard. Does this sound like a good choice?? The info said it had about 4g of fat & was around 405 calories. Does this sound about right & would it be a smart choice?? I really want to stick to my diet. Thanks!!

Well right now I think I stoped gaining wight I'm also not getting taller or anything. I'm a 15 year old girl and weigh around 105lbs and I'm about 5'5" tall...I would really like to gain weight in my "upper area"...If it wasn't for my "butt area", I wouldn't even be at 105lbs...my arms are really skinny and I wanna get a bigger chest..lol..like, my shoulders are really bony and my spine also sticks out(which is kinda gross..lol..) Also, my waist is pretty skinny to...but I don't have a toned stomach..although it looks toned because you can see my ribs..so it looks like abs! I guess this is all because I used to be aneroxic, but now I wanna gain wight, but I don't know how...What could be a healthy way to gain wight???

I'm going to camp tomorrow, and I have this really bad gas problem that I can't get rid of.
So I have some beano, but I can't take it in front of everyone else at a mealtime before the first bite of food. Will it still be just as effective if I take 3 (or so) tablets first thing in the morning in the cabin when i get up before we go to breakfast? Do I have to keep taking it before each meal or will it work all day?
What side effects does beano have?

If you go out to breakfast and you're on a diet, what would be a good meal to get? Something that is somewhat low in calories and low in sugar/fat? I'm really into anything other than plain oatmeal [which is what they serve at most restaurants]. It will probably be some type of diner. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!

On a diet, can you eat a lot of fruit?? I tend to eat fruit & fruit products. Grapes, strawberries, jellies/jams [no added sugar], juices [orange & apple 100% juice], etc. Can I continue with this or no?? Also, I eat a lot of breakfast foods. Cereal, oatmeal, whole grain breads, whole grain english muffins, pasta & rice, etc. I also eat a lot of lettuce, carrots, & tomatoes. For snacks I have 100 calorie packs occassionally or chewy bars [100 cals, 2g of fat]. Am I on the right track?? Thanks!

I'm 15 years old/female. And I'm constantly hungry. I'm not obese or anything. I'm actually really average for my age. Is it normal to always have the urge to eat something? My house has no junk food at all...everything is organic and healthy. But I'm scared to gain weight. ..should I follow my urge to eat?
