Yesterday afternoon i went to the batting cages with a couple of friends, and when i went to bat, the ball hit my hand (35 mph). I can't really recall exactly what happened; if it hit my hand directly, or ricocheted off the bat. But i felt a really sharp pain go through my hand, mostly my pointer finger.
Directly after, i noticed my finger was bright red. I tried to bend it a few minutes later, and it really hurt and looked sort of swollen.
Later on i could bend it and wouldn't hurt as much, but my hand feels really weird. It's not really easy to bend my finger, and my other fingers feel almost out of place.
What might have happened, and what should i do about it?

Okay well I do gymnastics every monday and ever since i was little i LOVEDD it i always wanted to do it.. and right now i STINK! i wanna be able to do a back walkover SOOO badly but everytime i try i cant do it!!!! and i look on websites for tips and they basically all say start with one of ur legs in the air but whenver i do that i get scared and fall!! i really need better tips on how to do those.. also backhandsprings we are learning them in gymnsatics and im like the only one who cant do them! and im so upset i have no where to practice at my house. So i need tips for that too and were to practice.. PLEASE HELP!!

I can do my left and right splits pretty well, but im basically a centimeter off the floor, and I need to be able to do them in like 2 weeks. Ive been working on them for a really long time, and for some reason my progression has seemed to slow. What is a really good strech for left and right splits? thanks =]

Ok, so im in 8th grade and cheerleading tryouts for my highschool freshman squad are on June 5th. I was just wondering, what are the requirments and stuff? I'm really nervous because I don't know anyone trying out, and I'm not sure if ill make it cuz i cant do a flip. I can do everything else fine though. Oh, and also, can someone tell me what it's like, and like what shoes I should wear and sutff. thanks =]

im 15/f been playing 3 years and im looking for a new stick... i have only had the chance to look online and i hopefully will go to the store sometime next week. but as for online choices ive narrowed it down to debeer's envy and warrior's amonte. does anyone have these sticks? they look close in design, but i was wondering if there was one you would recommend? i think the amonte is prettier lol but that wont matter later on. and because of the differently designed pocket (i have been using brine's synergy for all 3 years) will it be hard to get used to? i mean i have all summer to train for next season but is it totally different? thanks

do i have a chance being a cheerleader if i cant do tumbles,pushups (i can do like 2), cartwheels or roundoffs, and i wanted to go for the 9th grade team? and i'm not light enough to be flipped in the air. should i still try out? but i dont want to waste my time or embarse myself... be brutely honest..thanxs

Why do I always get an awful feeling after running? I sometimes get a headache. And while I run my eyes feel like they’re gonna pop out and I see something weird like my eyes moving..

I just got a first base mit for fastpitch. i put mit oil on it and rapped a ball inside it to get the shape. but it's not doing anything. i can't get it broke in. any other suggestions??

i want to send this ASAP!!
i really want to send an email to my coach because i want to ask her things that i dont get a chance to ask at practices. i have a lot of trouble fixing things i do in games unless i know EXACTLY what im doing wrong and EXACTLY how to fix it. and im pretty shy especially on that team so im having trouble wording this email.
i just want her to know that i want to improve and im going to practice hard, at our practices and on my own, but i need to know specifically what to work on and how to practice it. how do i start off an email like this? how do i say what i want to without sounding like disrespectful or anything?

everytime i hit the ball it's always a grounder where i can get out. is their anyways to practice getting it up higher like a line drive NOT a popup? (besdies batting cages) thankss!

ok when i play lacrosse i usually play 3rd home (im 15/f) and sometimes when the ball is coming from up the field i dont know where to cut to, like if i cut up towards the girl coming will i get in her way, if i cut low towards the goal will i be in her way for a shot, if i cut away will i be useless? here's a picture of what im talking about - as if i am the yellow X, the ball is the purple circle, and im on the red team, going towards the blue goal. the red X next to the ball is the girl who has the ball and if coming down the field. im just a little confused on this, thanks

i have played lacrosse for 3 years and i know ive improved a lot but i still need help with some things i havent had much of a chance to work on.
normally i play offense, and i think im okay there (usually 2nd or 3rd home). but recently my coach has put me on defense and i feel clueless. can someone give me basic tips for defense in lacrosse?
im on the freshman team this year and next year i want to try out for jv but i would have to have REALLY good stick skills and such because i have no endurance lol, partially due to a "genetic disease" i have haha its incurable anemia basically but im working with it.
so any overall tips for lacrosse at all are good but i need help in particular with defense. thanks!

okay, i cut myself like 3 times and i dont anymore. i never had a problem with it i just did it a few times. at cheerleading practice i base and my arms get skin burn from my flyers shirt and then my scars are visible. i was over a year ago since i cut and you cant see it but when my arms get red they show. what can i do?

Okay so I'm trying out for cheerleading, and we already have had 2/3 practices. They taught us part of the dance the first day and I got that down really well, but then today they taught us the second part and it totally messed me up, also they taught us this cheer and I already forgot it and its really hard plus we have to do a toe touch and mine sucks I can barely do one, it's super low. Oh and when we were doing our cheers/motions I kept getting corrected and I tried practicing in front of a mirror but it confused me more. Does anyone have any suggestions to help my toe touch to be higher and better? Also what will help me with my confidence, because right now I totally feel like I'm not going to make it.
