is left for dead an online game only????

i just want to ask a simple question...is left for dead 2 only an online games ???i mean can i play it even if i don't have an internet connection at my hand??? single player only???? and if u can please suggest me some really good games which i can play on my laptop with quite high hardware.....some cool games which have some future weapons like warhead crysis.... and a couple of strateg games too with old fashiones troops with bow arrow and swords...like praetorians etc.plz help.....

i have got the computer game sims 3 and when i go to play on it, it works ok but it is really really slow. how can i fix this ?

Hey, so i used to love sims, but i lost the sims 2 disk. When they came out with a sims 3, i thought maybe i should get it, but its stil $50. Before i buy it, i wanna make sure its worth it. A lot of people said that its worth it...if you had the right specs. I just got a regular macbook in august, but i didnt like update it at all so i dont know if i have the right RAM or graphics card, and im not computer savvy so i wouldnt know what these 2 things do ahah. I wont waste my money getting a graphics card if im not a HUGE gamer. Now, in your opinion, is it worth it? and do i have the right stuff? thankss

Lexar JumpDrive® FireFly driver?

I have this problem where I plug in my lexar jumpdrive and it says it needs a driver. It also says it doesn't need a driver in XP so I really don't understand why it is A looking for the driver and B not finding it which means it won't work. It just sits there and says: "Could not find Lexar JumpDrive® FireFly driver"
HELP!

Laptop screen turning pink

Iv'e got a Dell labtop it was ordered off of Dell's website back in 2008 and since then it's fallen apart parts have fallen off & there's wires exposed the screen is detaching sort of the only thing that is holding the screen in place is the wires..i can't go into exact detail of how it's broken since it's complicated...
Well iv'e noticed that the screen turns pink sometimes a little & other times the whole screen
if i turn the labtop a certain way it's gone
My question is why is the screen turning pink?
The warranty on the labtop is expired & calling
Dell wouldn't help...

I was trying to make a youtube account today but when I put my email in to make one it said that a google account has already been associated with it. I dont know what that means but i tried everything and it wont let me make one. Please help me because I really want a youtube. Thank you.

camera dies instantly, is it the camera or the battery?

i love photography and im lost without my camera. for the past few months it dies within ten min even if i charge it all night. but i dont really know if it is the battery or the camera itself. how can i find out? i dont have the money to do anything expensive for it so its kind of depressing. maybe buy a new battery but what if its not even the battery..? any help

Should I upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7?

Hi,
I was wondering if it really makes a difference if I change my operating system from Vista to Windows 7. I'm wondering if I should go through the trouble to change it. Will it make my computer faster to switch to windows 7?

Does freeing up Hard Disk space speed up computer??

Hi I just had a quick question.
I have a Windows Vista, 2.66ghz dual core laptop with 4 GB of RAM, and a 400GB hard drive.
My hard disk space is almost full. I was wondering does it really make a difference,in regards to my computers performance, if I free up space in my hard drive? And if so how much of it should I keep free?

Hi. So I think my girlfriend may have made a facebook profile of a fake person in order to talk to me as another person.
A few years ago I was given a website of someones whose location was supposed to be private. However I was able to find out where they were from becuase of the background information on that website which I am thinking was private. It was like my friend was able to track down the computer that the website was created on and we found out that way (we know the location was right cuz they told us later fwhere they were from).
Anyway, I was wondering if that was possible. It says on the persons facebook that she is from a certain city in our state but is there a way I can go beyond what her profi...

Iv'e got this battery for a video game system Nintendo DS to be specific that's pretty much shot how do i dispose of it?

Whenever I copy and paste something onto Microsoft Word it puts a light blue (barely noticable) background behind the words. I have microsoft '07. How can I get rid of this?

Would the USB stick have a virus?

I ejected (Remove Hardware) my USB stick from my computer. Then this big virus attack happened and to eep it short, my desktop trned green and in big fat letters it says YOU HAVE BN TAKEN OVR BY A VIRUS.
Well anyway, I quicky took out my USB stick. It's ejected from the computer, (so if you click on My Computer you'd see that it isn't there) but it was still plugged into my computer.
Would the virus have gne into the USB stick or no?
I had to take my comuter to a computer expert and I'll be geting my computer back tomorrow and I paid A LOT of money to get it fixed, but my project is in my USB stick and...after paying that much money, I don't want a virus coming back into my computer!

Facebook friends

Okay, so I got a facebook at the end of November. I totally DO NOT get the point of it. Especially adding friends. I have a bunch of invites from friends, but I don't know many of them or have never talked with them through my whole entire school career. It's really weird, because even if I do accept their friend invites we never talk in school or on facebook. I have 47 people who have asked me to be their friend, but I don't talk with them or I've never seen them, but know that they go to my school because of their name, and my school is fairly small comparatively speaking. If I leave a comment on their wall or send them a quick im on fb, i dn't get a response for a while. It's odd, much different than Skype or AIM. So I guess what...

AIM virus?

So lately I've been getting IMs from a LOT of people (including people I barely/never talk to), all saying things like "check out my new pics! [link] " or "this reminds me of you [link]" etc. basically all have a random statement and a link to some obscure location, etc.
i haven't clicked on anything. but i'm pretty sure it's a virus because these messages KEEP coming (like every once in a while) from the same people and they're the SAME messages from every person.
how exactly does this 'virus' or wahtever it is work? and does it do anything else other than force you to spam your entire buddy list?
