What to match with furniture?

Hello,
I'm looking for advice as to what I could use to make my brown-black furniture look stylish and not so old somehow.
As I'm a student moving out, naturally I don't have so much money so I'm buying some furniture pieces from Ikea. The "ENGAN" series.
I don't mind the black with brown-black furniture but at the same time it doesn't feel very stylish to me, but I'd like to have a nice atmosphere to my room and whatnot.
So what colours can I use to make it fresh and nice looking with this dark furniture?
Any ideas? :) It would be very much appreciated!

New house decorating

Hello, my boyfriend and I just bought a new house. The outside is great but the inside is horrible. Actually, it really just needs new carpeting and a fresh coat of paint throughout (everything can be easily fixed!) but since we are making this house our own, I don't want just plain white walls in every room. My problem is, I have so many ideas for each room and none of them really coordinate! Plus, if they DO coordinate, I don't want everything to be too matchy-matchy. How can I create a good them for the whole house but still make each room unique?

Where can a teacher buy stickers in bulk for their students?

Hi,
I am a teacher and part of what I do for rewards is give children stickers. With this tough economy, I have little to none money to spend on the kids this year, this includes stickers. Is there anywhere I can buy stickers for a low price. I tried Target, but 1,000 pack is about 5 dollars. That's too much, given that last year I bought the same pack for 1,000. I'm looking close to 10,000 stickers. Help me, please!

If anyone knows where to buy fake tree branches near Naperville Illinois, please point me where to. I've looked online but nothing comes up. Not even in Chicago! I really need help finding a gradeuation dress!! My teacher is kinda stridc about what we waer. I am kinda short. What im looking for is pinks, yellows, purples, oranges, and whites. With starps and doesn`t show a lot. If you find anything with ruffles i`d be thankful. So yeah that is what im looking for. NO SHORT DRESSES ABOVE THE KNEES PLEASE AND IT WOULD HAVE TO LOOK LIKE SOMETHING A NUN WOULD APPROVE OF.

Well, I wanna make my bedroom look more sophisticated. I have about 9 posters on one wall of celebrities. I was wondering how I could arrange it on the wall to make it look cool and mature. I was kind of hoping to take off 3-4 of the posters, but I think it would make the wall look bland then. any advice would be appreciated, thanks :)

so this summer I'm turning 17, and every year I've had a party. I can't spend much money so I'm hoping to keep the party at my house -- I have a trampoline and a pool, but I'm starting to think that parties like this during the day are getting too.. old.

New Room: How Do I Decorate a 10x10 Space?

I'm 2o years old (female) in college. I just recently moved out of the dorm rooms and into a house. I am sharing the house with two other people. I want to decorate my room so its cute. The walls right now are a dark beige. The room is onnly like 10ftx10. I know its not huge, but i'm a broke college student. Does any one have a few ideas how to decorate? I can paint if i really want to..but at this point I really dont want to. I have a black shelf that will be in room, so i would like to some home incorporate black ish colors...but i definetly like bright colors

Any idea where I can get a dresser for my room that hides/holds a TV?

I am trying to redecorate my room and I want to find a dresser where I can store my clothes and put a TV in it (not on top of it - don't have room on wall).

I need a theme for my Sweet Sixteen! I am so excited. I know that I want my chocolate fountain out with dippers and such. Alright, hi, I am 15, female. My bedroom is very.. pink! I liked it when I was little but now I want to repaint it and make it more teenager-y and chic. I am artsy, I love music, my friends call me a non cutting emo, haha. But I want to paint my walls like a reddish or a tan and put a really chic maybe brown lace border around the walls but I don't know how to decorate. I have alot of my artwork framed and hung up, but I just want more, family pictures, cool trinkets you can think of, anything will help. Thanks!

there is a store by me called forever21. most people know of it.
well in there, there is the cutest chadelier. well it standup like a lamp but the top looks l;ike a chandelier. it is made of plastic and you can see through it. it is adorable.
can anyone give me links to where i might find this.
forever 21 does not sell them. its just decoration.

Sweet 16 ideas?

So, i'm having a sweet 16 -- there will be a LOT of dancing with a DJ. i know some people aren't the dancing type, so what are some other things to do? I'll have food & tables, but i feel like thats not enough at all, you know?
I'm considering a pinata, but not full of candy only cause.. well, we're spending a lot on food. Maybe prizes, btu like what? I really don't have a lot of money, but yeah, any suggestions are appreciated!

How long wet concrete wall takes to dry?

My dad is building a little thing out back to put his tools in. The shed is being built to have concrete walls for whatever reason. I was talking to my friends and they said it would be really cool to put our handprints in the cement while it's drying. I think the hand prints idea sounds pretty good too.
I haven't asked my dad yet about it but I'm curious how long a concrete wall will take to dry? We will want to do our handprints before it dries but not right after it's poured, obviously. Does anybody know about it's normal drying time then?
