In one month, I must memorize the alto parts of these four songs I'm singing and I don't know how to play an istrument.
1. "Amavolovolo"- the SATB version arranged by Rudolph de Beer. Hal Leonard, its from the Henry Leck Choral series
2. "Placido E Il Mar"-SATB, Roger Wagner choral series, Alfred Publishing Company
3. "Adiemus" SATB, by Karl Jenkins, Boosey and Hawkes music publishers
4. "If Music Be The Food of Love" SATB, David C. Dickatu, Colla Voice music incorporated, from the Jo-Michael Scheibe Choral Series
If anybody can find just the alto parts of any or all of these songs played or sung that would be great for helping me teach myself. Even if you find the s...

Small bands

hey, so i'm doing some research on small bands. the kind of music im looking for are indie, rock, punk, kinda bands. The only necessity is they need to be young/ high school age. im writing about breaking into the music industry. what i need are a list of any and every band that are producing their own origanl music. whether its on youtube, myspace, etc. i'd like to either get in contact with them or be able to see their work. it's suprisingly hard to find small, unheard bands. i don't want bands like all time low, because as much as you might like them, they are famous. so basically and bands, even if its your bands, or your friends. that would help me SO much, so yeah, thanks

Yeah, I know I could look it up by typing the lyrics. HOWEVER, I just know that there's a few times in the song when "Laalalalaaa, la la laalalaa" or something similar is sung. It's upbeat, a recent song and it's a female sounding voice.
Anyone know what I'm talking about? :)

'the sky is blue , the end is near'... and later in the song says 'the end is here'
it sounds like its sang by duffy, but i dont think it is and i cant find it anywhere on google. help ? :)

i'm looking for some mellow music to do homework & study to, because i just can't focus when it's silent. everyone says john mayer but i'm really not too crazy about him. i LOVE LOVE LOVE secondhand serenade, and things like Keep Driving by Woodale. anyone know of any good artists/songs like that?

okayy, so i literally started learning guitar yesterday. on saturday, i was reading guitar for dummies (yea, i know...) and today i 've learned fearless by taylor swift, and remembering sunday. but obviously, i only kno the chords. i wanna be able to understand strumming patteren. and not the type that you find in music books . i mean the type people put on the interent, so that i can stat playing songs. also im having trouble learning certain chords, such as f, is that normal. do i just need to practice? okay, well im putting a link to a ebsite hich im trying to learn a song called jasey rae. how to i figure out hat it all means? i get the chords , but hat about the rest of it? thanx in advance

Hey i heard a song not too long ago when i was browsing youtube videos. It was a girl that sang it and it was along the lines of she walked into a grocery store i believe and she saw her ex there and he was somebody else and she said something in the song like i hope you dont do well and you two deserve each other. Thats all i can remember :(

Drums!

17/f, i recently discovered that i enjoy playing the drums. problem is, the friend who taught me some stuff, is not allowed to hang out with me anymore. (long story) but, he had a drum set, which was pretty cool & i don't know where to get my own, i need cheap and GOOD drums. and...i have to convince my dad to let me get them. we live in a trailer so it's going to be tough to get him to let me get them. i just really want to drum. my uncle has two drum sets, but he uses one and his son uses one. I could practice on those, but i have nothing to practice! I don't know where to go from here, please help guide me in the right direction!

I belly dance and I would like to make a dance to this song, but I also want to know what it's about. I tried to get a translation but the online translation did a crap job. So maybe stuff isn't spelled perfectly. I was hoping someone could give me a rough translation. It does NOT have to be direct...but it can be if you feel like it...what I NEED though is a pretty thorough one (e.g. This song is about Love = NOOOOOOO...ok This song is about love, there is this girl that this guy wants and he can't get her, no matter how he tries, she just never realizes that he loves her until one day this happens, then she seee's his heart and intentions and starts to fall for him, then he is really happy=YES YES YES!)
