I'm 15\f. A couple of months ago, I had a doctor's appointment and I had to cleanse my body by drinking only water the day before. I want to do that again this summer, only I want to go on a mainly liquid based diet for a couple of days, but is it true that if you drink, say, a total of 1 gallon of water a day ONLY, all you do is gain water weight? I also heard you burn thousands of calories though... Do you have to work it off with some extreme exercises or can you go about your day normally? In simplest terms, what is water weight? Thnx in advance.

Food cravings

I've been on a diet for three days now and I'm finding it really hard. I have a huge sweet tooth and I just love cakes and chocolate and lollies.
I eat enough and I'm not hungry after I eat but I really really have huge cravings for something sweet all the time and I can't stop it. It's really bad. What can I do to stop myself eating bad things? All I want is the taste of something sweet in my mouth.
Exercise doesn't stop my cravings coz I've tried :S

Can anyone help me?

I want to lose weight so bad i weigh 15 and iam about 5 foot 1 and i've tried everything that i could think of that i thought would help me lose weight and nothing seems to work. HOw much weight do yall think i need to lose please help me any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Ok, so this spring I didn't play any sports, gained some weight, then went to Italy and gained LOTS of weight. A week ago I was 5'5" and 142 pounds. I started this plan on the day that I weighed myself and I am so proud of how I've stuck to it! I'm eating plenty (1200 calories at the very minimum) and exercising enough that each day I have a 1500 calorie deficit. That's almost half a pound a day! I should be losing weight! After the first day I was 139, and now after spending a week trying so hard, I'm 140! I don't understand how this could be. I know my body is looking better than it did before, i'm happy with the results so far, but I don't know why it wouldn't show up on my scale.

i really need help.
i am 16.. about 5 foot, 4 inches..and about 120 lbs.

i woke up this morning and felt and looked really fat. i work out everyday. i run about 2 miles, do uphill bicycling for about 20 minutes, some weight lifting, and different ab exercises. i drink alot of water, take apple cider vinegar tablets, and ive been cutting back on my food intake. im pretty sure i eat less than 2,000 calories a day. im pretty toned until my belly button. i STILL have extra fat around my lower abdomen, hips, thighs, butt.
i don't understand what i am doing wrong.
i confess to sugar cravings though
if im up late at night and craving, i will eat a bowl of frozen yogurt or sherbet.

16. female. 108 pounds.

I am 108 lbs. i eat so healthy everyday.
breakfast:coffe
snack:apple
lunch: either, soup, salad, hard boil egg no yolk and a drop of mustard
snck: either 100 cal pak or gronola bar or coffee
dinner: chicken, or whole weat noodles oor meat
snack: fruit or gronola bar

i like my weight but i have a HUGE "pop belly" my stomich hangs out.
i exercise but it wont go away!!!!!!

I was just wondering i just started my period when i was 17 right about to turn 18. and i just skipped my growth spurt. meaning as i did not get one. well i am on yaz birth control i was just wondering me being on yaz will it stop my growth spurt possibly stoping me from never even having one.

16/f I'm obsessed with sweets and crave them like 24/7. I've been losing weight and looking how I want to lately..and its all fine. But when I see sweets, I can't control myself and I feel as if all that hard work losing weight is going down the toilet. I eat right and I exercise...but its the sweets that drive me insane. I know a certain point when to stop.....like i'll tell myself NO dont eat that! And I'll stop. But sometimes I can't help it and I go easy on myself and allow myself to eat and eat and eat. How can I stop this? :|

So my mom's on this diet her nutritionist recommended, and so was I, until someone told her that our diets shouldn't be the same since I'm younger and need to eat more calories. She's lost 4 pounds in only a week and a half. I'm 15, female, 148 pounds, and I cannot stop eating!! I know I would need to exercise along with a diet, but I'm the laziest thing. I just don't know what to do, what to eat, how much to eat, how many calories to intake, or how to exercise it all off. I do know, however, that the most important thing is to vary your food, which is exactly what my mom does. Any suggestions are welcome, and thanks in advance.
