Overprotective Parents

Ok.. well my mom works for social services. and she got this job when i was in third grade (i'm currentlly in 8th) and ever since then shes been SO overprotective. She doesn't like for me to do things without her knowing every single detail. She's takin the lock off my bedroom door. so that she can walk in at any given moment just to see what i'm doing. And it's getting worse every day. Even when i was in 3rd grade i didn't have a 'bed time' but now she's making me go to bed at 9 oclock. it's getting really bad. i'm getting ready to be in high school and i still have a bedtime. i feel like such a child because i never get to do anything. And i've tried talking to her. And i've told her that i think she is to protective. Yet nothing ever changes. What should i do?

I cheered competativly for 5 years, I don't like cheerleading anymore so I refused to tryout for my middle school squad. My mom and I battled for 2 weeks about this, but I won and its to late now to turn in the forms. Now no one will talk to me in my family, and if they do its some sarcastic or mean remark to make me feel stupid. Sorry for the length but i need help, i dread goin home after school everyday now!! Plz help, I'll rate high :)

Heyy! ok so i really want a new cell phone!! the one i have now is SO boring/ugly/retarted/etc! it works great i have awesome service, but I never use it, my brother broke his phone so he eneded up gettin a new one that he uses ALL THE TIME!! if i had a better phone i would use it for ALL of my calls... my parents say if i get staright As i can get any cell phone i want... yeah, GOOD LUCK TO ME!!! i always get at least one b and then all a's!!! ive only gotten straight a's TWICE!!! i dont wanna be a brat and break it on purpose because i appreciate that i have a cell phone at all, buu seriously i NEED a new one... any tips on how to convince my parents without gettin straight a's????

I'm 17 and I;m not allowed to go to dances. I feel really left out sometimes when my friends talk about it on and on for age. My mom and dad think I'm too young and they think bad stuff happens at dances. Another problem is, I don't know how to dance! Please help! I rate!!

My mom is really mad at me because I yelled and talked back to her. She stormed out of my room this morning while knocking my things down. I just told her that I needed time to get ready to go and I needed her to get out. She then left the house with my brother. Now she is back and she still won't talk to me. I am very hungry and I don't know what to do. There's no food in my house. We were going to go to taco bell but now she's very mad. I am so hungry! Please help.

13/f - Yesterday I think my mom walked in on me and my BFF watching porn on my computer. Im not positive if she saw EVERYTHING because we clicked out fast, but its been akward between us all morning! I dont know what to do/say or if im just being paranoid and she didnt see. What do i do here?! My friend just went home, but still my mom hasnt said a word about it. i feel SO AWKWARD! HELP ME PLEASE

My mom and I have been fighting for two weeks about this. Ive been a competative cheerleader for 5 years but Im sick of it now! She wants me to try-out for my middle school team but I dont want to, we've tried talkin it out, but It always ends up in fighting. She listen to me when i say its my choice not to cheer anymore and I seriously dont like it! Whut should I do?

I have a concern that eats at me. I cannot just put this to the side and not say anything any longer. The problem lies with my mother-in-law. I do care about her deeply and am very hurt by what has been going on.
Here's the background of myself, I have been married for 5 years now, we have a 4 year old and just had a new baby in Februrary. My husband is the oldest of 3 sons from his family. The middle brother just got married in February- this brother picked our due date to get married (which is another story). As the parents of the bride and groom, my in-laws were expected to pay for the rehearsal dinner...which they did...this was in excess of $700.00. Plus she bought a new dress for the wedding and bought the new ...

i am 23 and 11 weeks pregnant , I work but have loadsa dept , my mum is giving me 3 weeks to get out of her house as she does not agree with the pregnancy . what am I going to do , the father is in no position to help me , i do not want to give up my work as I have been there for 5 years.
but I am going to have no where to live please help

My mom is bananas.
She doesn't listen to me. Ever. Like, for example, today, I asked her to pick me up a block away from school. She was standing RIGHT out front, so I told her how appalled I was at her behavior and she cancelled my manicure. Her excuse was 'You have a friend'. Yeah, a friend that I carpool with every day.
I always get in trouble, and this summer is going to be full of fun, so i need ways to deal witht his. Thanks!

I want to be rich. I love money but I also know that I should appriciate wat I have now. My faimily isny poor at all but I just have to watch how Im spending my money. i want my parents to get new jobs and better ones also. I know that everyone would like to be rich but I dont know. REALLY CONFUSED

I have been living with my aunt carla for 5 years now, and about 2-3 months ago her 2 older boys moved out.. when they did me and my aunt got along really good , but about a month ago both of them moved back.. now i always fight w/ her and i cant stand it.. she gets stressed over my 2 cousins that moved back and expects me to do everything in the house because 'the boys are lazy ' but i always say ' they live here, just like i do , they should also do stuff to help out ' and my aunt was like they both work.. but now one of my cousins quit his job and all he does is put my aunt in a bad mood & so that makes her always mad @ me ! ne ways.. my aunt carla wants me to move in with my aunt barbara.. i love my aunt barbara, and get along with ...
