Is The National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine a Scam or a Ripoff?

Is the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine a scam? I got an email today saying I was nominated, but then googled it and people are saying it is a scam. It says its only the top 1% of high school students, and I'm only a freshman so I'm confused how I got accepted and the upperclassmen didn't?

Failing English Grade

hi. so currently my English grade is a 64, which is failing. at my school a 69 and below is an F. our school handed out progress reports last week meaning the 3rd quarter is half way over. I got a 46 on an English test which brought my grade down from a 90 something to a 64. our grades in this class are weighted and tests, essays, and projects are 60% of my grade. this test is the only one I've had and I didn't have any essays or projects yet. the other 40% is quizzes and homework which is 20% each of my grade. I'm really stressed now and I'm wondering if I take another test or two and do well on them (85% or better) how much will that help my grade? will I be able to bring my average up to at least an 85 in I think 3 school weeks?

People at my school kicks me or shouts at me for no reason at all. They even talk about me, thinking that I don't hear them, but I really do. I don't know what I do to them, I'm really kind to everyone. They say that I'm a liar, mean, stupid (even if I get the best grades), and ugly (even though I think that my face is okay. What the heck is with them?

I'm in a high school program, where I'm in high school and in college. I'm currently a senior in high school and a sophomore in college. Basically, this program is paid for. I finish my 2 years of high school in college, so I can graduate with my associates and my high school diploma. Like I said, everything is paid for. Books and classes. To join this program, it's a first come first serve, since there are limited number of seats.
Recently, the administrators checked every students attendance, and half the students are under contract for having 4 unexcused absences. So that means we won't be able to miss another day or have three tardies, or else we will get kicked out of the program. The way they had us ...

Okay, so I'm an outcast. It's hard to choose a friend because all my classmates are mean and bullies. They get mad at me even though I'm not doing anything wrong. I used to have this friend, but we're not friends anymore because we have different activities. What should I do to have friends? Or should I follow what my heart says (which is don't have friends 'cause you'll become left out again)?

My son is having problems in the classroom. He is not listening, playing instead of working and not following directions. His teachers complaining that he always disturb others and play rough. If his friend hit him once for disturbing them he'll hit them back 3 times.
Recently, I receive two major written complaints against him within a week from his school. The 1st one was when he wanted to see his friend's book, his friend took a sharp pencil and poke at his back in return he poke his friend back at his head and the worst part, both were bleeding. Apartment or Dorm?

I'm a commuter student at my university. I live at home with my mom and my grandparents. In the Fall, I plan to move out. I will be an upperclassmen in the Fall. So, I have two choices: dorm or apartment. Which should I pick? This is what I've come up with so far:
I am working on campus and I'm in a sorority, so sometimes, it gets late and I'm still at school. Having a dorm would make life easier since I wouldn't have to drive home every night. I wouldn't get home very late on weeknights. I'll have privacy and space, which is what I need. I know that I'll have a roomate, but it's completely different. (18/f) my parents are always on my ass about grades, same with my little sisters. one of my sisters (15) has always had A's and B's in everything, so she was never an issue. since i started highschool i've gotten D's and even F's on my report card, and needless to say, this isn't acceptable. my other sister (12) usually got A's and B's but she's been getting C's and my parents flip out over it, and my mom just told me thats because she scored advanced on all of her test scores. my other sister and i scored proficient. for some reason, this is really bothering me. they tell me i'm smart and could do better, but now i'm not really sure. i have a horrible memory and can't study. i can just never concentrate enough to even bother.

How should I split this DBQ prompt into three categories?

"Analyze the ways in which various people viewed the character and condition of Greeks in the Ottoman Empire during the Greek movement for Independence in the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries."
I'm terrible at DBQ's and I am at a loss of how I should categorize it..
Do I categorize the opinions and have paragraph be about how people viewed the Greeks as 'glorious', another about how people maybe viewed as 'weak' and stupid, and a third about.. I don't know, something? Or is that the completely wrong way to categorize for a DBQ?

Truancy please help

Ok I need help asap, we have to go to court because of truancy. I am cyber schooled because I was sexually abused, and I cant go back to normal school because he is still there, but I forgot to log my hours a few times and we hagve to go to court, and the judge will decide the penalty. I did work on all but 2 of these days. On those days I took tests and caught up on book work. IM a straight a student and want to go to harvard. This would look bad on my resume.
