my bff is totally boy crazy! she has a new crush every month. And all we ever do on the phone is talk about it i tell her the truth but she doesn't care i still care about her though becuse she's nice just boy crazy!!!!!!!!

I have this "friend" and she is totally annoying. She calls me, talks to me all the time, and is really obsessed with this fugly guy Tyler. Well I think she knows we (me and my bff) don't like her, but i also feel bad because NOBODY DOES!!! What can i do without hurting her feelings? %(

Okay, i'm trying this new thing were everyday i think of the good qualities of myself. And it seems to be working, i am more confident in everything! So then everything is great, until i get to school. I Love my friends. But all they do is put themselves down! One of my friends the other day, all she said almost all day was "Im Fat. I need to lose weight." and i kept telling her she doesnt. But when she keeps saying it, i feel the need to put myself down aswell, like say, "No your not, i am". And i want to be able to stop doing that. I dont know if this question makes much sence, but i tried. What im bascially saying is, How can i get myself to stop putting myself down infront of friends who put themselfs down.

basically i suck at holding a conversation. whenever i talk to someone, i come up short for things to talk about. and when i do talk, its usually about something boring lol. so what im asking is for advice on how to create conversation and keep it going so im not boring. thank you!

Well lately, my bast friend j and my other best friend b have been like ganging up on me...like b will say...oh im j's best friend now she likes me better... and its always about j! She will say she hates me and not even say that she was kidding! My friend b has also been losing wieght...and im happy for her but she talks about it all the time...it doesnt help when j says oh what is your size, whe'll compare! They try to make themselves feel better about themselves! And j has been my best friend since the 1st grade! Plz help!

Well wen i was 10 i was raped and all of my friends know well one of my friends told me that she wants 2 get raped(she's a virgin)just so she doesn't have 2 be the only virgin in our cliqué and so she stays on her myspace talking 2 perves im scared 4 her she says on monday she is going 2 meet somebody and im scared she is going 2 get raped and that the person is going 2 kill her so i need advice fast before i might not ever see her again

I met this girl keesha on my track team. We got hella close, went 2 a concert wit her, her parents helpd wit my big ol party, stuff like that. Well I had been talkn on & off 2 this guy 4 about 3 years. It didn't really go any where bcuz he kinda [this is RUDE] isn't on my level, but he's sweet! So I made a mistake &told keesha about him like how I KiNDA like him but not really. So 1day keesha tells me that they're GOiN OUT! (N I look way better than this bytch. We like 2 different species! :-D) Tell me iS iT WRONG 0F ME 2 CUT THEM BOTH OFF? My ex-friend, Dylana, is so annoying! Somebody on this site said I wasn't a real friend just because I got mad at her for simple things! Do you call copying my every move, stealing, can't take a tiny joke simple things? I don't. Now, all she wants is a freaking pity party that I'm being invited to! I don't like Dylana at all. Okay, so I'm going into 8th grade after Summer this year, and I want to make new friends. Problem is -- I have one particular friend that makes it hard. Really hard.
Like she'll get really mad whenever she hears I've gotten together or made other plans with other friends (even if it's my cousins!) and insist or invite herself to come with.
But she's friends with this other girl that I'm also friends with, and we were all supposedly close through 7th grade. I've been friends with the girl that makes it hard to make friends (Let's call her A) since halfway through kindergarten!
The thing is, that A thinks we're still BFFs, and no matter how many times I try to tell her, I get the same result. She'...

ok well just recently my friend sent me a message over myspace saying that we havent hung out in forever and we should. i havent hung out with him since last summer and he is a year older then me and we were always good friends. well he messaged me and said how about friday? and i said sure. so then i just started gettin texts from him and i think he thinks were more then friends and this is gonna be a date type thing. weve never been more then friends and i dont like him like that. i dont want to go out on friday with him anymore beause i dont want him thinkin its a date but i dont wanna blow him off either but i dont wanna tell him that i think we should just be friends because i think he will back off and wont talk to me cuz thats his personality. what do i do?

ok so some friends of my family know a girl my age and she just moved to my town and she doesn't know anyone but she'd like a friend so my mother volunteered me to be her rent-a-friend i guess or just friend.lol. anyway im getting her email address and i'm going to write her and sort of say hey welcome to "(my town)" but i don't think she knows that our family friend called us asking me to be her friend so i don't want to be like, hey so and so said you're lonely and now we're gonna be friend's ok?...yeah i have a feeling that would be an akward conversation so...what should i say to her? i know absolutely nothing about her except why she moved her and that she's here and doesn't have friends, oh i do know her name.lol but nothing else, what do i do?

okay so lately i havent felt really needed by anyone at all. like i know that my family needs me and its not like im a total nerd or loser or whatever and i dont have any friends. but i seem to be the only one planning everything. you know when we hangout and stuff. and its real bad between me and my one friend. like i keep droping hints to her but she doesnt seem to notice.

Im not sure if this category is best fit but it works.
I am 15/f and my friend is 15/m.
Although we are young we would like to help out children who have been abused and havent had the lifestyle we have been lucky to experience.
So my question is.. On Thanksgiving and such. How old do you have to be go volunteer at a shelter such as serving food ; cleaning up ; working with the children.
And... Are there any other things we can do other than donate clothes and such to help out?
We are in the Pehlam MA area.

okay. i really i dont what i'm doing. i completely fell for my best friend in the entire world. he is completely awesome and goofy and everything i've ever wanted in a guy. we are completely inseperable and i can tell him/talk to him about anything, except this. i cant seem to talk to him about this, not because of him, just i've never been someone to tell people i like that i like them. but he says that he would never date me because my friendship means too much to him and he could never bear to loose me. but everytime he describes what he likes in a girl, its generally kinda things about me. like curly hair and not anorexicly skinny. and i'm both of those things. and on top of all that i feel like i'm loosing him because i just sarted tal...
