this isnt really advice... but does anyone know a good song by the all american rejects, the beatles, beck, coldplay, the cure, dave matthews band, death cab for cutie, franz ferdinand, Guster, hellogoodbye, Jack johnson, the magic numbers, no ddoubt, The Red Hot Chili peppers, the smiths, the strokes, weezer, or Zox that have really good lyrics that could explain my love for someone in my profile? i'm a girl if that helps.

Rock music categories, there's so many! Please help me on the differences between industrial?, goth?, emo, classic rock, screamo, punk, rockabilly, etc etc. How does one keep up with it all??

Great Bands

I just want to know why lots of people like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, Guns 'n' Roses, etc. I like the Beatles and Nirvana because their music is very good but I am bad at knowing what a song means. There is a lot of drug references, I think, but I am sad because I am bad at song meanings. That's why there's songmeanings.net/com but I can't always rely on that.

Any tips for novice drummers (good books)? I have a basic 5-piece set but no china cymbal, I think it's called. Is that normal? Also, would a wire brush be important? Thanks much in advance!

Pop

What is pop music? I mean, the Beatles are regarded as pop but people hate on pop all the time! They think it's only limited to Britney Spears. Doesn't pop just mean popular? Or did later the meaning changed and included people who can't play their own instruments? If so, pop stars have to dance when on stage so they make up for that, right? Can someone help me with this distinction? Are there subcategories in pop music just like there is in rock?

I need to pick a few wedding songs to sing at my sister's wedding. I am a lyric soprano and a trained opera singer so I can "hit the high notes" and would love to find something dramatic, emotional and moving for her. Any suggestions? Thanks!

my friend and i are doing a lyrical dance for our talent show which has a 3 minute time limit
i need some opinions on which song we should use
1. Giving it all away- Ashlee Simpson
2. Collapsed- Aly & AJ
3. The first single- the format
4. Black Balloon- Goo Goo Dolls
i think we are leaning more towards 1 & 2 because we wouldn't have to cut them but i just want some feedback on which song people think would be the overall best choice for the talent show keeping in mind that it is lyrical. thank you very much!

Hey, Ive already searched google, you can try it yourself..there's no results. So does anyone know what song it is where they sing "I want your body, so baby dont tease me.." its an rnb song I think. And then there's another REALLY GREAT song where the dude sings "if she says she wants it, if she says she needs, don't you keep her waiting, give it to her please" (something like that)
If you could tell me who sings it or where I can find them I'd be so greatful!!!!

I just got kazaa lite and have no clue how to work it.
How do I download anything?
How do I do anything reall? I downloaded it and a program thing came up. It says HOME LIBRARY MEDIA SEARCH and TRANSFER at the top. I don't know how to work anything though. Basically just HELP!!! Tell me (simply) how to do basically everything that I'll need to know.
