I have always wanted to be an actress or singer. Im not that good at singing but im very very good at acting, im not trying to sound conceited but i am and i have been told that many times before.
Lately i want it so bad i can taste it. Its amazing. The only problem is, I have no idea how to get into acting or how to start out. My mom doesnt really like the buisness because of how some of them end up.
So my main question is:
Should I try? How should I start out? Should I wait till im 18 & on my own ? [[im 13 now]]

I want some movies to watch that are similar to My Best Friend's Wedding, or When Harry Met Sally. Basically, movies about a friendship that grows into more, or one person in a friendship liking the other person. Thank you!

I want to do this a career?

hey, i'm a drama student..really hoping to go to do a career related with drama..if i want to be part of a acting company..that works with kids..do i have to be able to sing,dance and act..well i don't sound bad..but does anybody know any sites that help improve your vocals..your dancing (B Boy thing)..and your acting..!

Where to Start

so i have been participating in musicals since i was nine. past roles = annie in annie at school. brigitta in sound of music at a theater near by... um White Queen in Wonderland
and I really want to be Rizzo or Sandy in Grease this summer for acting camp.
anyhow, i dream about being a Broadway actress. Problem: I can't dance very well. I'm not the worst, but I'm much more talented at singing and acting.
I want to go beyond school plays, but don't have money for lessons or anything. Tips?

Alright. I have this costume picnic thing, and I'm supposed to dress as a character from Peter Pan. However, I DON'T want to be Wendy, Tiger Lily or Tinkerbell. I know at least 3 girls doing each one. I was thinking I could do a pirate costume, and wear a renessance type outfit with a sword... what do you think?

I'm heavier than most girls[size 16, 5'5] but everyone INSISTS that I'm not fat[whatevs]. Anyway, this Friday, there's a costume picnic for my drama club. The theme is Peter Pan. I have NO CLUE what to be. I don't want to look like an idiot, but I don't have any idea of what to dress as.
Besides being heavyish I have medium brown hair, green/gray/blue eyes, fair skin, and good curves.
I want a semi-easy-to-make costume, because it IS finals week, and I need to focus, but I'm a good seamstress, and I CAN do a LITTLE sewing this week. The actual making needs to be less than 1 hour though. I have a huge amount of fabric, but not a whole lot of any one print and type.
HELP!

ive never seen shrek the third, but in a commerical i saw him and fiona in a bed and it looked clear that shrek was naked.. what was this scene about? i thought little kids watched this? if anyone watched shrek 3, can you please explain this scene to me? thank you!

does any1 know the name of this movie i really like.its where this two bestfriends,...and i think ones dads a cop or something and the other friends dad abuses him and his mom..i guess they found a gun and i guess there was gun shots and the cop dad thought that the mean dad shot his son or his wife.but really the kid shot his dad and the kid was on the run and hid from every1 and the cop dad goes through a lot looking for the kid and finding the gun! does any1 have any idea what i am talking about??please help me.i really liked that movie.( :

Last night I rented disk 1 of season 1 of the OC. It was OK, but I was really wanting to see the episdoes when Ryan/Marissa are together, and ones when Seth/Summer are together. Can anyone tell me what disks/seasons are the best to watch for all that love stuff?

we are doing a performing where we need to be scary..and its hard..because we're doing a soundscape..and we need noise that our voice that are freaky..is there anything else that is scary except for whispers tha we can use

My daughter has just been given a leading role in a play that requires her to use an Ohio accent from the 1930's.
I have tried googling but it's not been very successful. Any assistance would be appreciated. If it helps, we're English.
