respiratory therapist

Okay, I am in highschool, and I am thinking about my college plans for after I graduate! I am very serious about my future, and I am just frustrated that i don't know 100% What I want to be when I grow up, and other people know from the moment they're old enough to talk!
Here's a little about what i would like:
.make good money say 50,000 and up
.care for people (preferally not elder)
.help people
.somthing in the medical feild
And I know that addresses a very broad search of careers.
So we visited a community college today and they talked about respiratory therapist, and how they make good money and get vacation time, and are in demand. They didn't say what the career envolved par...

Hey, I want to major in Elementary Education in College, but I want to know how many years of schooling there are in that.
I know you need 4 years of college, but also additional college. How many years will i have to be in college after the first 4 years? Thank you!

ok so im bearly going to highschool and im already worying about collage! i dont think im going to make it! i always end up going with the crowd by not listining in class and skipping! i dont want school to be boring but at the same time i want to do good in school! what should i do?

Career Confusion

I am a freshman at my local community college, and in my second semester. Right now I am just taking my general education reqirements, so picking a major hasn't been that big of a deal. Now however, I have to pick a major before my next semester. I have no idea what I want to do or what I want to major in! It's driving me crazy, and the pressure is really starting to get to me. It's all so confusing; normally when I give advice I always tell confused students to see an advisor, but I don't even know who to see or what to ask. There are general ed. advisors, transfer advisors, course advisors, etc. I feel completely lost. I don't even know what school I am going to transfer to, or if I am even going to transfer.

For some reason I've been thinking a ton about college, and my dream is to live in new York city and play in the pit on broadway. But I need a school that could get me there. What aare the best schools around new York city with good music classes or even complete music schools?? Helpe reach my dream =]

i am currently stuck between three majors i REALLY like.
i aws thinking of double-majoring in college.
it'd either be between mechanical engineering and architecture or mechanical engineering & graphic design.
is this a good idea? none of these majors are too connected (except engineering and architecture, they're VERY loosely connected because both use physics). i'm worried that if i do choose to do this, i'll be severely overworked. especially if i choose to attend an ivy league school.

i cant decide where i want to go to college. i applied to 6 places and got into all of them. but now i realize that i absolutely dont want to go to 4 of them. so its between 2 schools.
im not going to use the names of the colleges but...
the first one is a fairly large school near a city, which i really want. but i've been reading reviews about this school and most are negative. they say "if your not white, rich, a smoker, and drinker, then you wont fit in" and not the last 3. so im just worried that the school is too much about partying.
the second place is a branch of a big school, so they have off campus housing. i would live in an apartment with 4 people. the only issue there is...

hey, i did HORRIBLE my freshman year...
okay my sophomore year...
good my junior year....
and GREAT my senior year and i did okay on my SATS.
i want to become an actress but what colleges do you recomend and do you think i will get into college?
my GPA was a 2.25 freshman year.. which i think will ruin my chances. i am also a cheerleader and i love penn state and the university of notre dame

heyy i'm in high school , looking at colleges and trying to figure out what i want to do with the rest of my lifeeee. I have a few thought of what i would like to do and one of them is becoming a vet.
I've always loved animals, and science but i'm not really sure what going to veterinary school entails. I was wondering if anyone new if there are certain high school science classes that are required, what kind of college classes you would need tot take before getting into vet school and things like that.
Please don't answer with well i think blah blahh but i'm not sure, because i really want to get the facts. Thanks sooooo much!!!!

so i thought i wanted to be a nurse, but i started an art class and i really like drawing, i'm not amazing at it, pretty much cause i just started and i'm just learning everything, but i'm not bad. i was wondering of some jobs where you can draw and the salaries so if anyone has any experience or knows anything please let me knoww!

What should I go to college for?

I'm a junior in high school right now and I've been looking at colleges recently. The problem is that I have no clue what to do. My mom says I should go for journalism, but here's the thing...I love to write (mostly fictional stories), but I don't want to be interviewing people or reporting news. I'm not sure if I want to be a writer because I want to do something that will make a lot of money. I also love music (I can't play an instrument but are there any jobs like a record producer?) and I love sports (I don't play, i'm just very interested in them) Can anyonegive me some ideas for majors/careers?

okay, im in highschool right now, nearing college! I am super excited about going to college. I still have a couple years but I am already preparing.
My dream is to be a radiologist! I've researched the career, and I love it! I know all about the job but how much would it cost to go to med. school after college? What should my major be in college, and how much will this cost?

fed up with terrible roommate

So I started college in the fall and long story short, I've grown to hate my roommate! I can't stand her! I realize I cannot change her behavior, only my own, but things are starting to get out of hand.
We have 3 garbage cans and 1 recycling bin. I use one garbage can, the rest our hers and she still can't manage to take out the trash in a timely manner.
We have a leaky faucet which creates mold in our sink. Guess who cleans it... [me, the one with the allergies]
She never everrrrr leaves the room except for class and 1 or 2 meals a day. she isn't involved at all meaning if I want some space to myself, I can't be in my room.
Her mom drives over an hour to do her laundry and everything else for her... we'...
