Do you hate sports?

Posted Wednesday November 7 2007, 6:34 pm

I was wondering if there's anyone else who hates sports. I feel like I'm the only one. I haaaate going to any sports events but all of my friends love it. Gah! I mean I know it's to socialize, but I can do that elsewhere..

Well anyway, if you hate sports too, why? :)

Powderpuff football names

Posted Thursday November 1 2007, 7:00 pm

I am a senior in high school and I have been playing Powderpuff football my entire high school life. This year we have a new way of going about things and we are stuck with a really cruddy name unless anyone can think of something before Thursday night's practice (one week from today).
So far (as class of '08) we are called Crazy 8's. They are going to have the team name on the front of the shirt with c/o '08 on the back. The picture on the back is going to be a picture of a magic 8 ball with "Seniors=Winners" in the triangle thing that "predicts the future". Anyway, I think the picture is a cool idea but the name definitly needs some work. Are shirts will be black with teal lettering (the words and stuff).

Im captain of my JV cheer squad and me and the co-captains were going to get our team together to do something nice for the varisty girls, because they are competing in a few weeks. back handspring and back tuck

Posted Tuesday October 23 2007, 10:05 pm

My cheer team is all working on their back handsprings with our tumbling coaches. Anyways, I'm on JV and to make varsity next year you have to have your back tuck. Tryouts are in february. We have tumbling every monday so it helps that its once every week. But I am worried that since I can't get my back handspring without a spot, that there is no way I will get my back tuck down in like 3 or 4 months. First of all, is that like even possible to get both down without a spot in that short of time? Also, any good tips to help with my bhs? I seem to always bend my legs when I get to the handstand position, and I never jump high enough. Thanks so much!
