diet + school + no electricity = disaster

OKAY so my school serves pizza, EVERY DAY, and I'm on a diet there for I bring my lunch every day. BUT the thing is I don't have a microwave, so I can only take items that don't have to be heated! I have been taking a ham sandwich for two weeks with one small bag of sun chips.
SO my major isue is what else can I fix, that is diet appropriate, yummy, and non heatable.

Please see let me know if there's something that would be suitable for my situation.

Skipping Meals.

I've skipped breakfast and lunch and barely had anything for dinner for the past three days.
And the weird thing is, I actually look fatter to myself. I feel gross and bloated.
So why is this? I thought skipping meals was supposed to do the opposite.

I know that skipping meals is bad, just I can't think of anything else to make me look skinny. I'm only 105 lbs and 5' 4", but weight isn't my issue. I don't look as skinny as I want to be. I run, do sit-ups, eat healthy, blah blah blah. It's not working.

But I would like to know why the skipping meals is making me more bloated.

Well I'm African American and when i straighten my hair, it gets badly damamged. So i was wondering if using the dryers that are like brushes, if they work better and won't damamge my hair as much.

eating patterns

I'm not overweight. I'm actually in decent shape, from playing sports. But I have problems with my eating and I know it's not good for me and I've tried changing it but I always seem to revert back to old habits...

Basically, I eat pretty healthy most of the time... but about once or twice a week I'll splurge and eat like a bunch of cookies or candy or something, and then my stomach hurts and I feel like I can't eat for a day. I know I shouldn't but I just don't think about it when I'm eating so I do anyways. How can I fix this?? I want to be healthy all the time :)

school lunches

last year, as a freshman in high school, i had gym the period right after lunch. after the first few days of school, i realized that if i ate lunch, i'd cramp SO BADLY in gym. so, for the entirety of last year, i skipped lunch and instead ate a small dinner at 3 pm and another small dinner at six or 7. and the worst part was, some days i'd skip breakfast :(

so THIS YEAR, i know i'll be stressed out but i really want to eat breakfast and lunch. so i want some cute ideas for lunch. i tried googling, "teen lunch ideas" "lunch ideas" and "simple lunch ideas" and i came up with this list.

for the main: peanut butter & jelly with toasted whole wheat bread, turk...

3 day diet.

Well, I'm starting a new diet on monday, here's a link to it:

And it seems like a pretty well-planned out diet, you know. And very balanced out, too.

And I was reading about it (from other sources) that I should do the diet for three days, and then eat normal for 4 days. BUT, I'm scared that if i start to eat normal, I will go on a binge. And you can easily screw up a week's worth of diet with one binge, because 3500 calories = one pound. Scary, huh?


ANYWAYS, i was thinking, can i just follow this diet? Day after day? Whenever the three days are over, I start over again from the top. Would it be healthy?

healthy foods for lunch?

I need a list of healthy things that I can eat for lunch so I can make a plan on the calendar for my school year.

My nutrition used to be at the top and now it's messed up from high shcool and it just pushes things. With a plan it will help me decide what to buy or not to buy in the cafeteria and what easy things I can make or pakc at home to bring.

For people who've done it before, does it really work? On the commercial, they'll say "$36 a week PLUS the cost of food"..meaning the food must be expensive. Does anyone know how much? How long til you see improvement? A billion thanks =].

Athletic Diet

17/f. I'm not the best athlete, but I run as much as I have time for (between 5-10 miles per week). I ran a 5k this year and want to improve overall for next year.

I've heard that athletes shouldn't eat much red meat. That's not hard for me- but the problem is that I want to get all the nutrients I need (like iron) while still eating the protein and carbs that I need. I tend to gravitate to fruit and grains (oatmeal, bread, bagels, pasta, etc) most of the time. That's definitely not a balanced diet.

So, here's the question... what can I eat (other than bread and fruit) that will be healthy and give me energy? Can I eat red meat, chicken, turkey, or ham? And finally... I'm not completely opposed to going ...

ihop breakfast

for the past month or two i've been eating pretty healthy and lost around 7-8 pounds. (along with a ton of exercise and whatnot)

obviously nothings perfect and i ate junk food here and there. but usually try to eat 1200 calories a day if i'm working out.

this friday for work we're having a party at ihop and im trying to plan out what im going to eat there.

id rather not eat more than 300 calories, and id prefer that theyd be at least something with nutritional value

the only thing i can think of that they have would be like a fruit cup.

does anyone have any suggestions? and around how many calories itd be?

Juice Diet?

I got this diet + healthy eating book a couple of weeks ago. I was flicking through it this morning and found a two day diet.
It says that you drink fresh juice for two days. Whenever you want. But it has to be fresh. So no added sugars.

Would this work?
I'm only gonna do it for two days.
