Adult question

Posted Wednesday November 15 2006, 9:01 pm

Does anyone know how long it takes for a house to foreclose. My boyfriend was served papers last week and he is not being honest with me about it. He is really depressed and I think this is why. I'm not supposed to know anything.
Any info would be great.

No Money For Christmas

Posted Wednesday November 15 2006, 10:11 am

My partner and I have a mortgage and a cat and although we have two jobs, because of various problems with our flat, we have very little money this Christmas.

Of course, our families and friends understand and keep telling us not to spend much money but that's really hard for me, especially because I always take Christmas as the one opportunity to really spoil everyone and splash out on them and it really breaks my heart that I can't do that this year. Instead, I'm limited to around £20 per person. Not much.

So instead, I was looking for alternative ideas. Is there anything I could perhaps make for the people I care about? Something that's quite easy but would mean a lot? We have craft stores near where I live...

Best Friends!

Posted Sunday October 15 2006, 11:31 pm

my best friend and I are going to get an apartment together. we don't have very good-paying jobs though.

we want to know about how much it would cost to get a really inexpensive apartment and pay all the bills (cable, internet, cell phone, water, electric, gas, car insurance, rent)? we each have our own car.

another thing. if my best friend gets a boyfriend and gets married, what would i do if i had to move out?

When the crimpe pays a lot, is it worth the risk of time?

Posted Friday October 13 2006, 4:17 am

I ride a hayabusha, and they made me this offer for a job. Ride 7 hours normal speed to the boarders of Albania, take some stuff and ride back. And when I mean stuff, I mean illegal stuff. Now they say that there is zero risk involved and of course I know there is no guarentee but I know it is pretty safe. On the big highways there are cops only during day on weekedns when all people driving, not at 3 o clock in a Wednesday morning. I am not going to provoke or anything, normal speed, only if I have to I am going to run away, and where I am from, you do run away from cops with a hayabusha.
Your personal opinion:
A)Is the risk worth the shit load of money offered to me?
B)Riding at night on the biggest highway, does that...

Are Mail-In-Rebates an honest deal?

Posted Saturday September 30 2006, 3:11 am

How often do mail-in-rebates go according to plan?

If I purchase a Motorola Razr cellular phone from TMobile's website, can I trust the likelihood of the rebate? Or would you advise against it?

she wont pay me

Posted Saturday September 23 2006, 8:49 pm

my neighbors gave me an offer and they said they would pay me $5 a week if i walked their dog every day. i've been doing it for 3 weeks and they havent gave me any money. i keep bringing it up in a hinting way like "do you want me to walk your dog around noon or later on?" and they will just say"whenever you want ." my family and their family is really close since we live next door and im basically a second family to them and i dont want to be rude and be like okay wheres the money but hinting is not helping either. i want to bring up the money subject but i dont want to seem pushy or desperate or rude so what do i say?? they owe me $15 so far and i really would like the money. =/

Earn Money For Trip To Italy..

Posted Tuesday September 5 2006, 5:53 pm

Hey everyone. My world history teacher wants to go to italy for spring break (first 2 weeks of april...yes...we get 2 weeks off) and he wants only about 5 or 6 students to go with him. Well he's obviously got a long time to plan and we'll get more information later...but right now he estimated the trip (for 9 days) to be about $2,500..not too bad right? WRONG if you live in my family! we are in a horrible money situation right now and certainly cant afford it. Heck, I dont think we can afford it when spring break rolls around..so i need a way to make money..enough money to go to italy for spring break. please dont tell me to get a job because i've already considered that and no one (besides mcdonalds) will hire at 15 around here and i'm not...

This might be kind of long. Sorry.

I got my first job not even a month ago. Maybe 3 weeks ago. I work about 2-3 times a week, making minimum wage. I'm 16, too, and have been for about 5 months, and I have my driver's permit. Today my mom told me (more like demanded..) that I was going to get my license by October 1st because she needs help and can't take me to work all the time. I don't want to do that because I calculated that at least 3/4 of my paychecks will go to HER for insurance. There are 4 expensive things I want to get first before I have to pay that much money to my mom (ipod, digital camera, digital video recorder, and laptop). The reason is because it would take me 3 times as long to save up for all of that if I h...

Cost Of Divorce? Is There A Way To Determine?

Posted Tuesday August 15 2006, 3:04 pm

How much does a Divorce cost?

Say... no children, no going for the throat, a mutual separation, and splitting everything straight down the middle - as smooth and simple as something so tragic and complicated, could be.. A couple in their mid-twenties, both with white-collar jobs, if that matters?
