I am in ninth grade. I am doing ok in school, like A's, B's and a few C's, but my parents aren't happy. At all. They think that a B- is, and I quote, "terrible". Well, my mom mostly. She thinks that if I have time to do all the internet activity I do, then I sooo have time to do schoolwork. Like, schoolwork is the most important and excited thing in the world, right?? UGH. She was giving me THE hardest time about it. Saying that some of the A-'s---A-'s!!!---were alllmost B+, and is that good enough for my mom?? Nooooo. Just cuz she didn't finish college and only went to Santa Monica and Stern, and wants me and my sisters to be perfect students. She seriously said that I should've done the extra credit in one of my history classes ...

ok so my mom has been in alot of trouble with the law over drugs. We always usta talk and now something happened and now she is not calling me anymore. I try to call her but no one ever answers and now I starting to get worried. I also feel like I have done something wrong to may make her not wanna call me.It herts me and I wanna know why?? Please help my I wanna know!!

Family curse?

Okay, I know this might seem weird, but it makes sense to me.
Everyone in my family is doing extremely well with their financial needs. We all live pretty comfortably. But, every family has suffered to get where they are.
And I mean EVERY single family.
My aunt from my mom's side, and her family started getting rich about 15 years ago. Once they started racking in all the money, she was diagnosed with kidney cancer. She might not live for another year.
My Uncle from my mom's side always owned his own auto repair business and has always been making an above average salary. But, a few months ago he decided to open another shop across town, since his original one was doing so good....

divorce

My gramma just died a week ago, and my parents just told me yesterday that they are getting a divorce. All of this just seems like too much for me to handle. I have incredible faith in God .. so I pray to him ... but sometimes that doesnt seem like enough? How can I deal with this? I dont really wanna talk to my friends about it ... cus all their parents are still 2gether, what should i do?

Fight with my brother

My brother and I are both 17 and I'm a girl. Yes, we're twins.
A few days ago he asked my dad to buy him something for his car. I don't know what it's called but it doesn't really matter.
Well, I was standing right there when he was asking him and I told my dad not to get it for him because he had one before and it annoyed EVERYONE in my family. Specially me. And I was the reason he had to get rid of it before. We don't share a car or anything it just really annoyed me.
So, of course my dad said no. My brother then went to my mom to try to convince her. He did a great job with that and now she is on his side. But, she couldn't convince my dad.

Brother's b-day present

My brother's birthday is coming up next week he is turning 24 and i have no clue what to get him. He doesnt play video games and he doesn't like band tee-shirts. It can cost no higher then $30. If anyone has any helpful suggestions it would be very helpful.

Grandson's emotional well-being

I am concerned for my Grandson's emotional well-being. He is a step-child at both his parents homes - they share him on a weekly - weekend basis, and have good communication- and good relationship with one another. The boy is 8. He is getting into trouble at school: being sassy and not following instructions. At his mom's he is very sassy to her, and gets in trouble with his step-dad for this behavior. Lots of time-outs and missed activities. He has a 2yr. old half brother and an infant half-sister at his mom's house. At his father's he is the only child, although his step-mom is pregnant (he doesn't know yet).
This school year he began a "new" habit of not putting on underware when he gets himself dressed for sch...

Jealousy?

Well I'm 16 and female.
Well I know that it is somewhat expected that siblings will be jealous of each other but how long is it supposed to last? I have a sister who is slightly less than 2 years younger than me and I have been jealous of her ever since she could walk. She is always the pretty one, the athletic one, the funny one, the outgoing one. She even got a boyfriend before I did. My sister and I are basically complete opposites and we don't get along. I've always thought she was perfect and I was nothing. She always gets asked to dance at school dances while I sit in the corner and cry. Maybe I'm just a bit too emotional. Grandson injuries at Nursery

I would just like to find out how my daughter and boyfriend can get help regarding there son (10months) getting injured at Nursery, burnt by boiling water on his hand and top part on arm(wrist).
This has caused a great deal of inconvienience to them taking time of work and travelling to the hospital to change dressing every 2nd day. This has also caused stress on my grandson and my daughter?

my parents ground me for the stupidest reasons. And im not a immature teenager who disagrees with everything because i KNOW when i mess up and I pay for it and I KNOW its fair. But I seriously cant take this. What can I say to them to make these groundings stop. I am a good kid with good grades and i never get into trouble, yet i get grounded more then anyone i know.

ok so here it goes.... me and my gf were hangin out in my room a couple weeks ago and we randomly decided to take a pic of her wit her top off and covering her nipples with her hands. i took it on my phone and had it for awhile. 2day when i got home from her house i had her call my aunt and left my phone in there. she comes in my room with the pic and yells at me for doing it and says thats y i dont trust u. she said she might tell her mom but that would ruin anything. i cant talk to my mom about it bc i never could and whenever i try she doesnt listen. wat should i do??

inheritance money

My gramma passed away a week ago. As a grandkid, i recieve 2000 dollars. I hafta put most of it in the bank, cus my parents are making me. The rest of it, which is probly about 300 dollars, in mine to have. Any ideas on how to spend it? Im a girl, but it doesnt make a difference cus i dont like makeup and brand name clothes and stuff. Any ideas are helpful<3

There is this guy who's in a lot of my classes. He's nice, intelligent, athletic, hot....heh. Anyways, I like him and he sorta seems to like me but hey, I guess he could just be messing with my mind.
We used to flirt in our classes but this one time in Gym class I walked passed him and he's all,"Don't touch me," because he has curly hair and I pull on it as he walks by, and I responded with,"Why would I want to?" So now he doesn't flirt with me anymore. He looks at me and stuff like that, but it's not the same.
I don't want to ask him out, because I am too scared of him being all, "ew." I want a way to be discreet about showing him that I am interested, so he might get ...

Moving in with my dad

My mom recently got remarried over the summer and my step dad and I do not get along at all. I've always loved my mom and loved living with her but I cannot stand her husband and he doesn't think too much of me either. I tried to make it work with her but I can't keep trying.
Yesterday we were in an argument and he suggested that I move in with my dad. At first I just got really up set that he said that and called him an asshole. But then I realized that it might be a good idea.
My dad is great and he is a good parent--I'm just used to living with my mom. My mom refuses to let me live with him. But they have joint custody of me so can I still move in if my mom says no?

Dad's money

My dad has blood cancer and has been in the hospital for the past 6 months. His whole family is basically just waiting for him to die so they can get his money. None of them have even visited him in the hospital in the whole 6 months. Actually, his brother did--on his birthday. It's my mom's family that has been there for us and my dad. They don't want anything from my dad.
Everyone has been telling my mom to not even give them the chance at my dad's money if, god forbid, anything should happen to him. But we don't know if there is any legal way we can keep them from getting anything. Does anyone have any knowledge of this or any ideas?

Alright my family has a really hard time with fighting. When i was little it would get so bad it would become physical. Just a fiew nights ago it became physical again but thats beside the point. I was wondering if you guys had any tips on how I could keep my temper down towards my parents.. Is there anything I could do to control it?

im really confused right now. i went to be last night knowing that my boyfriend loves me im making good money and im doing good in school. but this morning i woke up and my heart, not like litterally like i was having a heart attack. but like someone had broken my heart and i was very confused and i havent really figured it out. its like all day i couldnt smile i couldnt find a reason too. when my boyfriend called me i was very short with him and kinda rude. and whenever he'd say he loves me i was just like o ya love you too. and thats not me. im usually totally lovey dovey. im really afraid he is going to think somehthink somethings up and i dont want him too because there isnt anything wrong with us at ALL.
