Do I need Friends?

Every time I get a friend, they betray me somehow. Like talking about me behind my back. They seem okay at first. A good friend, the nthey end up turning on me and joining up with my enemies. I beginning to think I'm never gonna make a perfect friend. I mean, one friend is getting drunk all the time, one forgets aobut me, one hits me in the head, and the others all the same. I mean, my question is what should I do? Give up on friends, which may happen either way, or find better friends? I mean, my friends can be nice to me, but... I just need help on friendship! And the definition so I know for sure what friendship is! :( PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

i met this girl [jen] on wednessday at school. we started talking and i thought that she was pretty cool right away. we went to the mall on friday with some other ppl and it was fun. the problem is that she wants to be BFF's when ive only known her for like 5 days!!! i have other friends that ive known for much longer. i really dont want to be mean to her because i do want to be friends with her. but she said she wanted to write something nice about me so i gave her my myspace info. then she changed my name to "jen and sam true friends forever!!". she wants to have identical profiles but i told her that i thought itd be better to have them different. i dont know what else to do. she put a default pic of me and her and made her nam...

I'm moving across the country (from New Jersey to California...Orange County) for college. I'm going to get my own apartment because if I'm that far from home, I don't want just a little dorm to be my only place to have to go to. I want to be an A&R (artist and representative). An A&R works for a record label and is sent to concerts and stuff to listen to bands and if they're good, offer them a spot on the record label. I would probably intern for a record label while I'm in college. I'm into rock, punk, etc. and I love concerts and Ip lay guitar, etc..
Here's the thing...
I'm really into people who lare like that, too. Who like the same music and are that style and like going to concerts, tatoos, pierc...

I'm not sure what subject this was supposed to go under but here goes. In september i'll be turning 19 and i want to throw a party. i was in hospital for my 18th and couldn't walk for months afterwards so i couldn't celebrate. so i want to throw a big party for my 19th but i don't know what to do. does anyone have any cool themes or ideas?

okay so i have 2 friends.. birthdays are september 5th and 6th. one on the 5th is turning 16 and the one on the 6th is turning 17. so in our group of friends, there's 6 of us, including those 2. now for their birthdays.. we wanted to throw them like a cool get together party. not really like a hundred people party.. just something cool. like we've heard about people who covered the basement in black paper, wore all white clothes, and had like a splatter paint party. we want it to involve alcohol.. and i am asking for help to try and think of cool party ideas that we could do or themes or anything really fun and unique! thanks for any help!

I have a friend, who is the biggest ditz ever. I love her and all, and I can be a pretty big ditz myself. But, I do know proper english. I'm not the best, but I'm not stupid, at all. An example of how stupid she is, is the word 'rational.' She thought it had something to do with the goverment... see what I'm dealing with? How do I cope with her? Shes so much fun to hang out with, but when it comes to 'big words' as she puts it, its impossibleee talking to her.
What should I do?

and their always hanging out together. And they never invite me anywhere. except when theres no one else to hang out with.
they make me feel like crap, it just seems like they arent realy my friends anymore.

when me and my friend went to the movies i took my nano ipod an she took her video ipod. she then decided that she wanted to borow mine and so we traded becuase she liked my music in it. so we traded and it was a while when i saw her. i mean we called eachother buches of time but i was to busy to hang out. well i took her ipod to school oneday and they stole it. i was so mad. someone actually went into my bookbag and stole it. i was crying hysterically and my dad was screaming at me. they still are talking about it.my mom keeps screaming at me and reminding me. i called my friend and i told her she was a bit mad at first and then she said dont worry well...

my parents are normaly pretty cool about stuff but i have a good [guy] friend who lives realllly far away so when he comes over i want him to stay over night. they say no because theyre paranoid or whatever. i wouldnt dare do anything with him, but its retarded to make him leave the day he comes down and im pretty sure he wouldnt be able to stay anywhere else. can anyone help me think of valid points to say to them? ive tried telling them the fact that he lives far away and stuff and they just arent listening to it. thanks in advance.

I recently met this guy. he's great; he's amazing. he's everything a guy should be. I've really grown to like him, first as a friend, and now more then a friend. we talk a lot on the phone and I see him about once a week on avg. because he lives about an hour away. ok my best friend moved away and shes coming back to visit tomorrow. ill call her lisa. and im really looking foward to seeing lisa and everything, but recently she and my other best friend (ill call her beth) have started to talk again (they were friends before she moved, but they didnt talk after she moved) and they talk frequently over the computer and stuff and im totally fine with that. no problem at all. but lisa told beth that she was coming, and now i guess beth assumes that we're all hanging out. and im fine with that because i know lisa would like to see her a little bit since she told beth she was coming.

ok well all my friends are a lot richer than me. they have really awesome houses with pools, game rooms, and all these fun things to do. so they always invite me over. and their parents take us to do a lot of fun things like boating, or go to their lake house, etc. but im afraid theyre gonna stop inviting me because i never invite them to my house. thats becuz my house is sooooo boring. i mean really, there is like NOTHING to do here except watch tv, and even thats really lame cuz like my whole family is in the same room with us. and we dont have a boat or a cabin or do anything fun that i could invite my friends to do. so i need some ideas of things i can do with my friends or invite them to do, that would be fun, so they wont think im just leaching off them or something.

I am going into Highschool next year, and I don't know anyone because I'm new to this area. I lack a lot of confidence and tend to make friends with girls that nobody likes, because I feel bad for them. Which doesn't help. So i was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to become more confident. Or possibly any on how to make the right friends. I also receive good grades so I'm always worried people only want to be my friend because I'm smart.

so im friends with these kids right. and yeah.um.
they have like all these different bonfires and im NEVER invieted and i feel like shit because im not invited and its not like they dont know that im mad. i mean my away messages are always nasty when they have a party or whatever. so yeah i dont know how to like fix this problem and its bugging the hell out of me. okay thanks for the help bye.

I have a guy friend, Erik and he's very nice, sweet, smart, and is just all the things that i could not want more for in a guy.
