one of my good friend's father just died of a heart attack on christmas. i left her a message on IM saying i was sorry and that i'm here for her and love her and all that..but what else do it do? has anyone here's parent died? what would you want? i'm guessing she just wants to be with her family. we are sending them a card. should i call her or go see her or..what?

Well I know that Christmas is over but, tomorrow/today (it's 1:30) we are going to my aunts house to open more presents. So my brother was supposed to buy for a 9 year old. So he has to buy something for a 9 year old that will be okay for him. We know he want's an XBoX game, but what might be something else my brother could buy for him? If it helps, my brother can drive, and has money.

My little brother is driving me crazy!!! He hits me when he gets mad and leaves bruises! and he wont leave me alone! i have a lock on my door except its a hook lock so he just unlocks it! I would tell my mom but every time i tattle she gets mad at "me"!!! Im 13 and its because h's 10 and her little baby! its driving me crazy and i need help please!!!

i have this grandma SHE is a total neat freak and sometimes just plain wierd she will not let me watch pg13 movies even though im 15 so when my mom buys me one we have to keep it a secret. when im with her all day i juat cant wait to get away . i still love her though. and after christmas me my mo and her are going to tenneessee for 10 and when my mom drives she pretends there is a fack brake petal and pushes her foot down. now tell me how will i stand her for 10 days straight? i RATE HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!

We've decided not to drink at my friend's house. no worries about that. anyway, I need some opinions on co-ed sleepovers. my dad knows I won't do anything sexual (I showed him my purity ring) but he thinks it just "doesn't seem right. there will be 3 girls and 1 guy there (its not like 10 guys and 1 helpless girl) sooo what are some good things that will remove any doubt in his mind? please and thanks!

Here's the story. I'm 15, female, and don't know how to ask my parents if my boyfreind can come up to my grand parents house with me over winter break? My mom, sister, and I are all going up to my grand parents house and I'd relly like if my boy freind could come up with me over winter break in Febuary. I don't know how to ask my mom. It's nit like we'd even have to sleep in the same bed if my parents didn't want us to because my grand parents have a big house with plenty of beds. Only my mom and sister will be coming so it will be a little easier without my dad there. Please help.

i did one thing wrong (i got gaught drinking with my two cousins) and we only wanted to try it! my mom told every one in my family and if i go to any kind of fmaily function they always offer me as a beer as a joke or make me be bar tender they say oh i bet you no how to do it and stuff. and my brother is home for 10 days ( only a couple now) he is in the navy and he said it to me as well and he is planing on never going home again (stationed in cali we live in ohio) im always getting yelled at and im stressed and i think because im soo stressed i do things i dont want to do and i feel un wanted if tried talking to my parents but the wont listen to me and i just want to leave but im only 14 (turning 15 in june) so im stuck unless there an...

Today my friend is having some people over..3 girls including her and 1 guy. We are all 15/16. Anyway, we were going to be drinking so we were all spending the night. Thing is, my parents know I like the guy and don't want him to spend the night. (my dad figured once I said he was "hanging out" for a while...he said "well, I just don't want him sleeping there") I'm not planning on staying sober late enough that i could call and say he doesn't have a ride. I really don't wanna get caught drinking either... it's pretty much the first time I do anything bad. all the other parents are ok with it...how do I break it to my dad gently and still be able to go? it's in 3 hours... Ever since sophomore year in high school a group of friends and I have always gone to South Padre for spring break. We're all sophomores in college now so this year is going to be our 5th. Well I have another friend that isn't apart of our group and she's going to Italy for spring break this year and asked me to come along.
Now, I'm not sure who to go with. I know what you're thinking though, "Italy, what an opportunity" But, I just went over the summer so it's not like a big deal. So should I just say no and go to South Padre?

I get mad sometimes because I don't like how my family talks to me sometimes. It's like they are critizising me all the time for doing little things. How do I stop getting mad at them? They would tell my they don't mean anything on what they said. How can I find other advice sites that is like charity supported or government on the internet?

ever since my parents have divorced and me and my 2 sisters and my brother have moved to LA my youngest sister (7th grader) has been acting older then she is she can definally pass to be about 16 but that never mattered much in NY but here she is hanging out with girls that were to much make up and not enough cloths. Shes learned how to dirty dance and is making out with tons of guys. Omg my mom just found out this morning she was pregnant. Since I'm an only child, I don't know what to expect. Can anyone tell me what will begin to happen when the baby is born and gets into its toddler years? We're obviously not sure what sex it is yet. Also, she's going to the doctor on Tuesday.
