Girl Stuff: I want to start using tampons.

I'm fifteen and when I'm on my period I usually use pads, but I want to start using tampons. What's a good brand to start off with? For sports also? Because I'm pretty active...
Also tips to putting them in? No websites please, they really don't help. I've only tried putting one in once and it hurt like hell.

Is there anyway to make your period stop faster?
I dont mean forever, but i just got it (not the first time) and it usually lasts for 2 weeks and im going back to school and i dont want it at first when i go back. So is there anyway to make it stop faster? PLEASE TELL ME :]. Thx.

ok i have 2 questions plz answer both( there kinda weird but i need to no)
1: where do you put in a tampon i no its in your vigina but wear in it??
2: if i put it in doesnt it mean like im not a virgin anymore because if you put it in its like i dont know but if you no what i mean then please tell me

I was just wandering if there is anyway i could make my period go by faster? cause i might be goin to the beach next week and i wear tampons but i would rather just be done with my period when i get there. i started today by the way, and i usually last bout 6 or even 7 days. thanks a bunch!!

okay i just turned 13 and i fingure myself 3 or 5 times a day it dosnt affect my social life but friends also havnt got their peroids and i have im just wondering like am i weird or different. like i cant come up with the word but i want to know if im to young?

I am having some bleeding and its way too early for my period but i am having heavy bleeding and no clotting. I had sex like a week ago and the guy did use protection but it could have broke or something. I heard that if you are pregnant you cant use a tampon but I am using one and its kind of comfortable. But I just need some advice on what may be happening and I dont have the money right now to buy a pregnancy test. I am only 17 I really need some advice..please help me thank you

14/f. i tried putting in a tampon a few months ago but it didn't work, and then i tried today and it didn't work either. i'm scared to put it in, my mom was right there telling me where to put it but it just wasn't working.
1 - what hole does it go in?
2- is there a different hole from where you get fingered, where you tampon goes in, and where the penis goes in?
if so, please explain! because my boyfriend and i were getting pretty intimate but i made him stop because he was about to finger me and i was scared he was going to break my hymen and then i'd bleed everywhere. or like he wouldn't be able to find the hole just how i wasn't able to when putting in my tampon. 3- or do girls get fingered i...

hii, uhm i have a problem. my friend is having a pool party towmorrow and i have my period. youd prob all say use a tampon, but i hate using them they hurt me so much. there are also going to be boys at this party who will try to push me in. what should i do?

Well, I just got my period a couple of months ago. And like a week ago, I used a tampon. Well, anyway, I had a lot of trouble with it, and it was actually pretty painful. Is it supposed to hurt your first time? %% Thanks %%

whats the best way to shave your vajayjay? cause whenever i do it burns a little after and its uncomfortable... also i get kind of racor burn on it and i just wanna know how to do it painlessly in all forms lol and like what razor is best, shaving cream, and yeah. And i want 2 (4 swinmming & such) buti don't know how it feels or how 2 put it in. and i been told if i'm not careful i could get TSS. i don't want this 2 happen what should i do?

Im 14/f and ive never used a tampon before. This is pretty embarassing, but I tried to use one yesterday, and I just didn't know where to put it. I put it in this one place, but it was a little painful. Is the first time always painful or did I just put it in wrong? My period also kindof slowed down, and it was only the second day. Pleaseee help. Thanks!

vaginal pain

Well, it's not about sex, technically.
I'm a virgin and i have never had anything inside my vagina except my index finger (I don't even use tampons) and that was a few months back.
Anyway, onto the question part. I've been having some vaginal pain. it's not any worse than menstrual cramps or anything but it feels kind of like tiny needles or something poking deep inside my vagina.
I have a gynecologist appointment to see what's wrong because its only just started happening, but i would like to know if anyone on here has experienced it before or if anyone knows what it possibly could be?
Any info would be a great help.

corn in vagina for period relief

okay so i took a playtex gentle guide tampon, took out the cotton and filled it with warm corn from the can. i heard it insilates ur vagina better than the actual cotton in the tampon. i tried it and it didnt exactly work. the corn was all wet with blood and dripping like a bitch. did i do anything wrong?

tampons at the waterpark

hm well i didnt know what to put this under put i have never used a tampon before and i am going to a waterpark this saturday and unfortunatly, i just started my perios =[. i am really nervous because i dont like being tuoched or anything being stuck up my vaginal area, its uncomfortable. my sister said to use ky jelly, does that help? im not sure how heavy it is gonna be but is it okay to start out with beginner tampons? and how much does it hurt to take out, ill probably cry. i get soo uncomfortable down there so if there is any tips please help!

alright, this might be kind of a stupid question, but i just need advice.
i`m not comfortable wearing tampons, i don`t know why. i`ve tried, and i just don`t like it. eventually, it`ll be practical, sure, but for right now, i`m sticking with pads. i got my period in 6th grade, when i was 12, in december. i`m not in 7th grade and 13.
last summer, i didn`t go to the pool or anything when i was swimming, but i had my period when my whole family went to a waterpark, so i wore a tampon that day, but i didn`t like it, and it didn`t even do anything because my period stopped that day. so i don`t even know how well a tampon works for me, or if it would work well enough while swimming.
