x-y=6
x+2y=-9
how can i put both of those into "y="?
example.) y= (a number)x + (a number) so like: y=3x + 2
But i need those equations at the top put like that. I already know the first one.. its the last one i need help with.

In our school we have Microsoft Word, and on my computer i only have microsoft works word processor. I need to bring a saved essay to school on a disk but it doesnt open in microsoft word because its microsoft works. (gets confusing), so i need to download microsoft word on my computer for free so i could bring my essay to school and work on it. Does anyone know any sites they will give me so i can download microsoft word for free? I tried searching on google but i need specific sites cuz im dumb. Anyone who helps..thanks alot!!!!

I was wondering how colleges work..like after high school, wat do you do? How do you search for colleges? How do you find information about them? How are the classes scheduled? How many hours do you do a day? After those 4 years of college, what do you get..a bachelor's degree? What's that? (As you can tell, I am totally clueless so I need some answers) What's grad school? What do you do after grad school? I need tons of info to fill up these many questions. Thanks

Hey guys,
I have to make a poetry book in English, and I can't think of a good title that I could create for my book. My topic for the poems that I chose to pick was on LOVE. If anyone could help me try to think of a good title that I could use, I'd really appreciate it! I'll rate you a 5 if you try to help me atleast a little! Thank you so much! if anyone has read BLACK BOY by RICHARD WRIGHT..can you please help me with a few questions..

Oral Presentation

I have to give an oral presentation in fron otthe whole class, but I suck at public speaking. I start getting really red and then i start to shake and I stumble over words. Right now I am absolutly terrified at the thought of giving a speech. What can I do to overcome this fear?
Please dont give me an answer that says "you will fail everytime"

Paper Proposal

In my Humanities class, we are working on a paper proposal for a 4 page paper we need to complete by the end of the year. The topic is completely up to us as long as it is somewhat dealing with Humanities. I have 2 different areas that I would like to try researching and eventually writing my paper on, but I'm at a loss as to which one to choose from. The first is Abortion, and the second is Teen drug/alcohol abuse. My paper proposal is due tomorrow and I'm not sure which topic to choose and what I should write about in the proposal. Can you give me your opinion as to which topic I should pick and how to go about writing this proposal? Or, if you have any other suggestions as to a topic to use, that would be helpful too. i my pe teacher he is a total dork he dresses in sweats all the time and if he is not in sweats he is in old shorty shorts and he tells us to be healthy and he is drinking peppsie and eating fammos amos cookies he is so stupid and he gave me a b- whan i relly deserved a a+ i am really mad what should i do

School Shooting

Just recently, a man apparently came to my school. I don't really know who he is but they've been calling him Prophet Murphy. He's this guy that predicted the 9/11 fiasco and now he's like, come to my school and talked to the principal. I go to a high school in Vermont and he told the principal that there was going to be a shooting at the school this friday, the 13th of May. I'm a little bit confused because I don't know if the guy even came. It could all be just a rumor that some idot circulated. One of my best friends ex-boyfriend had told her that he planned on shooting up the school. I told her to tell the principal but I don't think she's going to. My other friend told her mom about the rumor and now she's not going to come to s...

I am writing a graduation speech that is entitled "Looking Back" and I am having trouble finding quotes. Ineed quotes about choir, school in general, and friends. Well my partner and I have to make a buliten board, which is really just a poster, about the topic "All life on earth is linked by the transfer of energy from its original source throught the food chain". We need to find a good and/or catchy title that relates or kind of tells about that topic or subject. Thanks for listening.

taking tests and beating the ponies...long, but please help

13/f-so here's the thing, i'm smart, but taking those state tests, like the CAT/6, is like torture to me! i mean, REALLY. at first, i'm just answering questions like whatever, but once i'm halfway through the section, i get really bored. i feel like fallling asleep. i just keep thinking "when is this gonna be over already?!?!?!". i get REALLY REALLY REALLY tempted to just guess, but i have ONE motivation: we used to be the lowest school in the county (not country! COUNTY!), and now we have a chance to be the highest school in the district and beat the school we absolutely HATE: washington broncos...or as our principal says, they're just "my little ponies". anyway, we're only 39 API points away from that, and every questi...

American History Project

Okay, here's the deal: for my socials project, our teacher asked us to pick a section in the book and do a presentation on it. I picked a section that describes how war started in Vietnam, and how the soldiers got enlisted and about the suffering, and the nurses i.e. He does not, though, want us to take the easy way out and use a board with pictures on it to seal the project. We may use visuals, and get this - we have to be a character in that time period. So I have to be someone in the 60s. I have a few ideas - to be a nurse recalling the event with pictures [maybe powerpoint], or a reporter making a documentary about it. Does anyone have any ideas? Anything would help, and its good if you speak from experience too.

ok.. well theres these kids in some of my classes... theres alot of them and when theyre not all there its not so bad but when theyre all there (just one class) its bad. i sit in the front row and all they do it sit behind me and make fun of me. they always claim that i smell and they make jokes about it. theyre like the "popular" type so this is cool to them. i know i dont smell though. they just say that because that room has a weird smell coming from the vents. im not one of the popular kids so they do this to make fun of me. its no fun and i hate that class. trust me though, i dont smell, i thought maybe i did at first when they started but i put on stronger deodarant and i sprayed perfume. its definitly not me. how do i get these mean people to stop tourturing me?
