okay, so me and my best friend, we'll call her serena, we've been best friends since 2nd grade (we're in 10th now) but we know everything about each other and we are always there for each other. well she has a boyfriend but she still flirts with like all the guys at school and they of course flirt back. and so when im walking with her and someone comes up im just like stuck walking behind them. and im sick of it. when we are by ourselves everything is great but not at school. i feel like such a dork just tagging along. and i have other friends but they all like love serena and it seems like they would rather be around her. i really hate it but i feel like im just never going to be as good as her. how can i become more outgoing? or what can...

I'm a thirteen year old female going to high school as a freshmen. In seventh grade there was this guy V that my friend M went out with and my other friend B liked him but M and B where best friends but they were both friends to me well there friendship ended because B liked V and tried to get with him after M and V broke up. Meeting new people.

The school I go to goes from 7-12 grade, and in 9th grade you get new students [it's an exam school]. I'm really shy by myself, and I really would like to meet a lot of new people this year. I'm fine when I'm with my friends, but if I don't have anyone I know well in a class, then I just don't talk.
I was wondering what are some good ways to introduce myself without appearing too friendly or something and freaking them out.

Okay so i have 2 friends who i love so much. Well one is a guy the other a girl. I have known this guy for a very long time and this girl i have known for quite a while. Him and her dont like eachother and they fight whenever they are together. i love both of them and people say i need to drop him as a friend, but i cant do that, i also like him more than a friend, and he knowss and we are still friends. I just dont know what to do. like none of my friends like him. they tell me to let it go because he's not worth it as a friend and i dont want to.

Leave or Stay?

I used to be best friends with this guy, he's 16/m, I'm 16/f. Anyway, we got romantic one night (not sex) and nothing's been the same since. It's been 8 months, and I was hoping the friendship would gradually get better. It's gotten worse, I barely know him anymore, he lies, I give 100% effort in this friendship, and he gievs maybe 4%. I told him when we were BEST friends that I would never give up on him, and that I didn't ditch people. I'd love to keep my promise, but quite frankly people I feel like completely blowing him off & never speaking to him again. I think it's because I've had it & feel like I have nothing left to give.
Question is, do you think blowing him off/cutting all contact with him is a good idea? ...

Hang out at the Mall

I've never hung out at the mall before with my friends, and I want to basically hang out with my friends more before summer ends. um how do I bring it up, and how do I convince my parents to let us go? cause i'm a 13 year old girl, and sometimes my mom can be a tad overprotective. and also to other places.. where else can i hang out with my friends that would be fun? bowling alley? my house (its hard to do that since my mom doesn't like having people over when the house is messy and its like usually messy-ish)? and if my friends hang out at my house what fun things could we do? by the way, no swimming pool, trampolines.. or any fun things in the backyard. I mean, I just got Sims 2, so I guess we could do that.. but like other things to do. ...

it seems like im always left out of things that my friends do. whenever they have sleepovers and stuff, or if they go to movies, im not invited.
it really stinks because a lot of my really close friends dont go to my school, and i dont see them as much as my school friends. sometimes i ask them if they want to do something or go some where.
its just that i always feel left out and stuff..

I'm turning 15 in a month and a half.. and I'm starting to think about ideas for a party.
I want it to be suitable for under 10 girls (15 max). I live near D.C., so something there's a possibility.
I also don't want to spend a lot of money (like renting a place to have a frickin house party). But I can spend some money i guess...

Guy friend just ain't working anymore

I have a guy friend(jay) he is nice and caring. But ONLY when he wants to be. He will say hi in the hallway at school then when class is over he will walk by me and trip me. Then at lunch line he smacks me in the head. But when we sit down to eat he has a polite convorsation w/ me. in classes he acts like an @$$ and throws anything(and i mean ANYTHING *i.e book*) then after wards he will be all like "oh i am soooo sorry i threw that at you......"
It is just to much for me now. He treats me(and my other friends witch are girls) like a guy. IT IS really REALLY anoying.
What do i do? dump him as a friend? (((I have told him to stop but he doesn't take what i say seriously.))) or stay his friend and deal?

My birthday is in about 3 weeks. I am gonna be 15, but the thing is I am in high school already. Most people turning 15 would be freshmen, but I am a sophomore. My friend just had her sweet 16. So anyways, I need some birthday ideas that are fun, but not corny or childish considering I am friends with a ton of people older than me, since I am like the youngest in my class. I might be inviting boys, but probably not. I don't want a pool party, or movies, or bowling, since that is really common. I was thinking a hawaiian or mexican or some kind of theme and just hang at my house, we have volleyball and ping pong, but i dont know if that would get old after awhile. Any ideas?? Thanks!
