Considerig not having my photo done my senior year

So I'm thinking about not even being in the yearbook this year.
This upcoming year will be my senior year and I'm supposed to get my senior portrait done in the next 8 days or else it won't be in the yearbook.
The problem is my school only allows photos to be done by a company that is insanely expensive considering that they aren't very good at what they do.
The last 3 years the same company has done my schools photos and when you look in the yearbook 90% of the photos look like crap. There's at least 50 photos in our yearbook where people have their eyes closed. How pathetic right?
I called the company earlier and their cheapest offer was $80 for one photo!

i'll be a senior in high school this year, and it's time for me to decide what i wanna do with my life.
i'm going to be going to school next year to get my cosmetology licence. ( my school has a program where i transfer half a day to beauty school )
but when i think of going to a university or something, i always think that i might wanna go to be a dental hygienest. i'm gonna be honest to those of you who dont know, it takes alot of science and math. i KNOW that with alot of hard work that i can get the grades i need in college to get into hygiene school. but it's going to be very hard for me. it takes me a long time to understand those types of things. my mom has worked in dental offices forever, as long as i...

Private school or home school?

Last school year my parents home-schooled me, and it was okay. But because of my mean and rude personality I'm not so sure that we should do it this year. I really want to go back to my old school since there will only be one class, and I'll get to spend some time with my friends. The one thing that worries me is that I'm not exactly social, active, or any of the things needed for school (P.E., typing class, that sort of thing. Oh yeah, there is no art.). And I get really worried that I'm not going to be able to find my way around the school. Should I stay with being homeschooled and risk losing almost all of my friends, or go to school and be overflowed with homework, and not learn as much as I could?

What's a liberal and a comunist? And what's the diff between a democrat and republican? And is Prez. Obama a republican or a democrat. I'm 13 so can you explain it without all the confusing politics words? I skipped a few grades and I'll be taking a placement test in august that'll have some social studies and American history sections so I think it'll be good to know a little more about some if this stuff. School problems....grade levels?

Ok so I'm Gracie and I'm 13 and this august I'll be starting 10th grade and I'll be taking advanced classes. I'm kinda not looking forward to it. I mean, the work isn't easy but it's not hard either so that's not the problem it's just that I don't like being the smallest and youngest kid in my classes. Is there a way for me to go back a grade so I can be in classes with kids closer to my age and still get some advance work? My dad doesn't want me to go back a few grades. He doesn't think it's a good enough reason and he says I should take classes that are more challenging so is there a way that I can go back a grade without his permission? I mean, I'm the one taking the classes not him, right?

Okay so I am in senior year. Here 12th grade is VERY important..My admissions into a good college will be only on the basis of the marks I score in my "board examination" which is held at the end of the year. The papers are not checked by my teachers but by some other teachers who don't know me and are teaching in some other school. This is done to make the examination fair. The cutoffs for any college where i live (new delhi) are CRAZZY. I mean nothing below a 475/500 is acceptable.
I have Physics, Chemistry, Computer science, English and Maths as my subjects.
Im telling you all of this just so that you know there is a lot of pressure to perform well.. and I have to in order to get a good college.<...

Younglife Summer camp... what is it like?

Hi, I'm going to a Younglife sumer camp this week and I am really worried. I know a lot of the kids going but, I'm not really friends with them. I am going to primarily make friends, but I was wondering if they do bonding and stuff or if it's just like go off on your own kind of. So I guess I'm really just asking about the jist of the camp. Does anyone know any reliable websites where you can put the textbook's ISBN number and it will give you websites where you can find it the cheapest. I know that one does exist but I don't know what it's called.

Hi,
I just started working at a new school. I do enjoy my job but it gets tough and nerve wrecking at times because I believe my boss dislikes me. I have tried it all, from just working, kissing up, or just flying under the radar. What can I do to get her to like me, and how can I deal with her, because we need to work together for a while.
