Is it true that swimming can cause you to have an erection?

I am in 9th grade and we are doing the swim unit and boys and girls do it together. At first I was thinking of asking to sit out since girls seem to be vicious monsters who enjoy humiliating anyone that is not perfect but now I read that while swimming you can easily get an erection when you are a teenager? Is this true? I cannot risk that happening. If it is true I am definitely sitting out

there is this tutor I work with in the tutoring lab in college. She's great and a wonderful person to be around with. She is about 28 and I am 22 and she is engaged,
One thing I forgot to mention before is that I noticed about her is that she was very touchy feely. , like patting me on the back or shoulder.
My class ended a few months ago but I saw her around campus when I was going to meet up with a friend recently and chatted with her

at my son's and daughter's school they have swimming in PE from 8th grade to at least 10th grade in high school and the boys and girls have it together. I though this was bad enough. Wouldn't this make people feel uncomfortable? And cause distractions and goofing off among everybody? Not to mention young boys will be around with no shirts on which I think is inappropriate for young girls to be around of. My son has some stretch marks and now he has to stand half naked in front of all those girls and this will give them a chance to humiliate or tease him.
but now I find out that the teacher is also a young female that is probably about 23 or 24. I remember meeting her because she taught his health class as well. I do not fee...

Hi 13/m..
So im at an international school and there is this kid my age that really gets on my nerves..he insults me and my friends..we already told the principal he got suspended once or twice, we also insult him back this year cause we dont have anything else to do..he has no friends which is probably the cause..he insulted on of my close friends yesterday and she felt very bad..I feel like beating him up but i dont want to get expelled, suspension for me is fine but not an expulsion!

it's like taking a bath with a bunch of people you don't know. Disgusting. If you want to relax in some water why not fill up one of those small tubs in your backyard
not to mention you have to wear a pretty embarassing outfit in front of everyone. Doing the swimming unit in school and both boys and girls are there. Though at least those are your peers

I'm so confused whether my crush likes me or not! I've searched dozens of websites and I'm still not so sure! So I'm going to explain how our relationship is right now.
1. He's really sweet and funny! Always making jokes and making me laugh all the time
2. We talk about the most randomness stuff ever and we're so comfortable with each other to talk about the most difficult subjects
3.We share food and drinks! Every time at lunch we trade drinks, share a cookie, etc.
4. IDK but I guess he's with me all the time and always wants to be with me
For example when the teacher made new seating arrangements he personally asked the teacher to sit right next to me!

My guy friend from school invited me over to his birthday party. I had a great time and he was being very social to everyone, asking if 'we' (me and my 3 friends) were ok and having a good time.
Then it was time for me to leave. I told him I had a very good time and said thanks for inviting me! Then he said 'that's good' then out of the blue said, i'll give you a hug and well, we hugged. I was shocked and just said 'ok'.
I cant remember how the hug was because I was in total shock! And this was the first time he hugged me and his parents were there watching and they looked surprised too!
After the hug I looked at the ground and said 'That was a little awkward...' and he said 'Yeah it was, wasn't it?' ONLY BECAUSE HE HUG...

Before I begin, this is going to be a question regarding "flirtacious" acts between a manager of mine and I at work. I know that doing anything with someone in authority above me is wrong and I in no way, shape or form am trying to pursue anything, I am just trying to figure out if he is flirting with me or not and from there, I will decide what to do if there is anything there.

I did not read it but my English teacher who was gushing about it and how excited he was for the movie said it was much better than youth targeted books today like those two and also I have read that the reason the movie is not doing good is because Lions Gate films targeted their marketing towards the Twilight/Hunger Games type audiences but they were not the right audiences to market it towards

Embarrassing Situation(Library Book)

I love to read. I visited the school library a lot and read books ALWAYS returning them on time. I checked a book out and was going to return it but a rule stated we couldn't go to our lockers in the morning or at lunch. So, I tried to figure out a way to get it back but I never had enough time. I just got a letter from the librarian (whos always nice) saying that I couldn't use the library anymore. My parents got really mad and I don't know what to do because I am so embarrassed and afraid that he'll yell at me....What do I do?
Also, if I tell him what I explained he probably won't believe me..(Plus we only get 4 minutes between each class.

Hello, I am nineteen and work on a staff in my dorm hall at my university. I am one of eleven other desk receptionists. However, I only really get along with 2 of them because the other ones all came from the same hall last year so they're kind of cliquey and they spread rumors and start drama a lot. The two people that I get along with is my roommate and a hockey player whom we'll call Jake. Every time I'm at the desk and Jake is in the building, he'll come and sit with me. Yesterday my friend asked him to make a list of things he likes about me *ikr soooo cuteeee* and he asked me if I looked on the back but I didn't so I looked on the back of the paper and it said " can you be my girlfriend please" and he said reply by Friday and so it's tomorrow and I'm freaking out please help!
