my name is Rachel and iam a 17 year old girl and my dad died when I was 12 and sometimes I still find myself upset about it and it makes my grades go down when iam really upset how can I get over my dad's death?

When I ask my mom if a friend can come over or something, she won't answer me. She'll act like she never heard me, then if I ask again, she yells at me and grounds me for begging and annoying her. This is so aggrivating, how can I get her to either say yes or no, and respect me more!

Fights

My mother and I fight all the time. She blames our finacial problems on me all the time. She yells at me if I go out with my friends, but if I stay home me and her fight alot. Most of the time she gets mad at me for something simple like me sleeping in, being on the internet or asking for a friend to come over. I know I do get my way with my dad, but I don't ask her for much and I try to do what she says so I won't make her mad. But no matter what we started fighting like crazy! I'm so sick of it, I hate being with her, what should I do?

not so nice sister

my sister is always finding ways for me to get in trouble when it's not my fault. She is 16(almost 17) and i'm 14. like now, for instence, i was watching tv and my show was 8:00-8:30. and at 8:15 she comes downstairs screaming and yelling that she NEEDS to watch a baseball game that her boyfriend MIGHT be at. well my show was half over and there are 3 other tvs in our house so i told her i was watching to go watch somewhere else. so she goes outside and makes up some fake story saying that i had been watching tv for 2 hours and she had to watch it it was on a channel we don't get in any other rooms when we could get it everywhere else. so she comes back in saying i have to move. and of course, i'm not going to my shows back on so she litera...

when i was like 12, i would spend all the time that i could with my mom. i would actually hang up on some other friends on the phone to hang out with her. when i turned about 14, my mother maybe thought that i favored my friends over her (not true) but w/e. she probably just thought it was weird i wanted to go out with them and not want myself to be seen in the mall w/ her and stuff. but you know, that was normal like a year-two years ago. but she believed after that that there was only one way to get to a teenager. it was to talk to her/him in like foul language and get into AIM and myspace and all that. i guess its kind of cool my mom likes myspace, but not to the extreme she takes it. she goes on there at 6:00 in the ...

Life in Prison, aka my house

My parents are what you would call...overprotective. Yes, thats a good way to some it up. Lets put it this way, i am in higschool, and i am still not allowed to have more than one friend over at a time, i have never had a party, i have never went TPing, nothing. Thsi is the first year i have been allowed to go to my school's football games and i had to beg to go to homecoming.
My mom hates my best friend, she thinks shes a "bad influence" and refuses to let me go to her house and my house is totally lame. Whenever seh invites me over, my mom gets soo mad at me and we get into a fight. I have asked my parents mroe than once to try and trust me but they say they cant. WHat can i do to make my parents ease up a little...

Help me please, fast!
My aunt just called, and she was crying, and she never cries! So I asked what's up? And she said "You need to tell your mom to get a planeticket and come to America" (we live in europe) and I was like whyyy? And she said "Baby, I don't know, I don't know what to do..Your Grandfather is very sick. She needs to know, she needs to get here!" So now it's all on me!! How do I tell my mom that her father might be dying? Do I tell my dad so he tells her? I don't know about that though cause they've been fighting alot lately!! Or do I tell her, and if so, how? Do I tell my brothers (younger) so they know that they should be nice to her?
Please help me, please! She'll be home in a couple of houres and I don't know what to do!

okay. well ive been havinh family problems. im very unhappy. because of this i havent had a friend over in 5 years! other then 2 girls that ive known my whole life. i hate my father, who comes over all the time. and my mom just doesnt get it. she sees how happy i am. but its almost like she doesnt care. and i think ive gone through so much in my life. i reallly want to move. and she has a boyfriend in another state that she is in love with. and it would be wonderful to move there. but everytime i bring up moving she just tells me to be quiet. i dont know what to do

I was supposed to move in with my dad next week because of my stepdad and I not getting along at my mom's house. It was all set and everything. My dad even already has a room cleaned out for me.
Well, this morning, my mom tells me that her and my step dad are getting a divorce. Now, usually I would be extremly happy. But right now I'm not so sure because I don't know if I should still move in with my dad or not. Any ideas?

I have a formerly long lost sister, who I've met recently, and we've trusted each other rather quickly. She is a very private person, while I'm very open with my life. We've had dilemmas about a similar topic in the past, and this is our second time at this topic. Now she doesn't trust me with her personal business anymore, because I tell my husband about things that effect me about my life, which happens to also include her (like our arguments and such). She wants me to be a loyal and respectful sister, but how can I do that while being a loyal wife at the same time? i live in a low income apartment..all of my friends live in big houses. i hate living in a crapy apartment in a rich neighborhood. especially my crush! we talk a lot (hes an only child). and i always hear about his escalades and BMWs and i HATE IT! because i have a crapy car and i wish i wasnt ashamed of were i come from. i used to live in a crappy neighborhood but that was okay because i was the rich one of the poor people (even though then we were poor) now i have to transition to being on of the poor people. again. and i HATE IT! what can i do to change this feeling?

My mom won't let me get a dog we had 3 dogs before 1 died of parvo.. 1 ran away(it came off of its leash) and 1 we gave away
I would never feed my dog i was like 8 or 9 then but I really would take care of this dog I want it so bad how could I get my mom to let me have a dog don't tell me it'll make me responible cause i already tried it

Hi. I'm Kaylee and I'm just turned 18.
My problem is my Mom, Emmy, who posts my pictures all over the internet. Mom cybers with men from all over the world. Its sort of her hobby and she meets some of them too. But she has started posting pictures of me and my sister and they have fallen into the wrong hands. People are seeing me in my new black dress and making comments.
If I tell Mom not to post my pics she tells me to mind my own business because these people are her friends. But I dont like them.
What would YOU do to stop Mom posting your pics in your new black dress. If you had one. A dress, not a Mom?

I am 16 /F. Last week i visited my girl friend, she told me they are naturalists and celebrate all week ends as a naturalists and they wear nothing at home. So I went their to see and I was astonished to see all of them nude (Dad, mom, my friend, her 12 year old sis and 19 year old bro). Is this kind of thing allowed? Isnt it a kind of incest?

I spilled soda on my phone yesterday and it broke and now I'm afraid to tell my parents. It was an accident, the soda leaked in my purse, it wasnt out of carelessness or anything, but I dont know how to approach telling my parents!!
