Alright well, I have a problem. My brothers best friend is turning 18 on the 17th. He's a senior, and I'm a freshman. I've known him my entire life pretty much, atleast since I was two years old. He's one of MY best friends, including one of my brothers. The thing is, throughout my entire life people were always telling me they though he really liked me, more than a friend. I thought this sometimes as well. He was always doing projects FOR me because he didn't want to see me fail, giving me rides home from school, etc. Well things hit their peak at my parents party. See, he said something to me, and I took it the wrong way, thinking he called me fat. He didn't mean it that way, but already being in a bad mood, I started crying in the car fo...

i'm tired of my mom controlling everything

I've always been close to my mom and told her everything. It's only now I'm realizing what she's doing to me.
For example.. she's told me to stop being friends with so many people. So I stopped being friends with this group of people because she was constantly saying bad things about them, and now I'm hanging with someone else, she's criticising him constantly too, calling him a "troublemaker" and now I'm getting put off him.
Well this same guy.. last night I went over to his place... we've been friends a long time and recently got together. I told her a few people were coming so it was a gathering. Only a couple of people turned up, but I didn't think it'd matter. When she found out, she forbid me to ever go...

please help me. i hate my life. i really dont even wanna live anymore. my mom is so stubborn. today i said the "s" word. not to her but i got mad because something wouldn't work so i said "oh sh**" she got sooo mad. and she swears all the time. i didn't even mean to swear, it's just a habbit. just because she was mad that i swore, she unplugged the whole computer system, told me im a waste of space, hit me, and she wont let me make any plans for the whole weekend. all because i said a "word." i can't stand this. how can i not swear when she puts me through so much pressure. i just want to die. i really wanted to go to the movies with my boyfriend tonight. i've been waiting forever. what can i say to my mom to l...

ok. so here's what's goin on..... you see, my boyfriend is having his birthday party at a restaurant tonight and he called me this morning to ask if I wanted to go. The truth is, I'm not feeling very good today but it's just occasional stomach pains and I haven't told anybody. So anyway when he asked me I said no because I just didn't want to go. (I don't really think chinese food is going to help my stomach very much.) He's really upset that I don't want to go. He told his mom who then told my mom. A few minutes ago my mom just came storming in the room to demand why I said no. Help with my 15 y.o. son

I am divorced and my son spends most of his time with his mother. I asked my son if he wanted to go to a Mets game with me (we both love baseball). At first he said yes, then a few days later he asked me if one of his friends could come along. My problem: I don't get to spend a lot of time with my son, and I was looking forward to the game as a chance for us to spend time together. I know that if his friend comes along I will feel like a "fifth wheel". My son spends a lot of time with his friends, and I don't think it is necessary for him to bring his friend along. What should I do?

I'm fat...but not a weight question!!!

My mum told me I'm fat today and I know I am but the way she said it made me feel like I should be anerexic.
She was petit in high school and when she had me she was still relly small. When she had my brother she got ffat but I feel alot of pressure to be thin. This summer I want to go gym like everyday but I don't know how to lay off me...she really bothers me abut my weigh and I will lose it...but in time!!!!!
She makes me feel bad...she actually makes me want to eat!!

my mum and me

My mother and me never had a 'great' relationship...she never was around when I was growing up, etc. Anyway so my grandma got sick and we're building a relationship.
I never do that good at school but this term I really want to. I have 5 days until test and to tell you the truth I haven't opened a book! I have about 3 weeks of exams and I really want to do and make my mum and myself proud.
See my mum is really pissed at me because I don't study and I'm online as soon as I arrive home. I know this is bad and I want to change...but the more I want to change the more I can't. So I was wondering the best way to concentrate on books and not the computer. Please DON'T give me a site because it really doesn't work. Jus tell me something that works for you...

Friend /Parent trouble

My parents will no longer let me hang out with one of my friends. I don't even see why. She's very respectful and nice. They just don't like her for some reason. How can I make them let me hang out with her again? She's a really good friend and I don't want to lose her. I will rate any1 who helps. So please help. Thank you in advance.

Yeah, my granmother just died, we're having a funeral for her on saturday, and I don't want to be there. My dad says "Its not your decision to make" does anyone have some persuasion techniques? Or have you ever heard of a way to convince someone to do something your way?
I don't want to go. What' sthe best way to say it so I get to stay??

It's kinda annoying about my younger sister.(We have an age gap of seven years) Back when I was her age, our family didnt have that much money. And I only attented a decent school that's close to our rented house.When I was in nursery and kindergarten,I had to use a trycicle to get to school. When my sister was born, we moved to a new house--that we owned. And we earned a lot more money too.This year,my sister started kindergarten. And she's enrolled to a big private chinese school.(we're part chinese)And her classes start in the afternoon!When I was in kindergarten.I had to wake up earlier before the sun does!And now that we can afford a car,my family can just take her and pick her up from school. Grandmother died; speech for her funeral

HELP!
I've had 5 relatives die on me the last week.
And I've given speeches on 4 of their funerals so far, and they've all been..awful.
Tomorrow I'm giving a speech on my grandmother, so please help! What can I say? I really have no personal memories of her!! But I have to do this - I promised!! please please help me.
Any nice heartwarming speeches you've heard of that I can use as inspiration ?? or any special websites for these kind of things?? thaank you!

Alright, so, my sister and I have a great relationship with our mother. We talk to her about everything and anything and we love being around each other. Well, most of the time that is. Yeah, we have arguments and sometimes we don't get along just like other mothers and daughters. But, within hours, sometimes even minutes, we make up. That is, unless her sisters are around, then she turns into a bitch.
When they're around my mom nitpicks at everything we do and lectures, yells at us about it. It's insane because she's NEVER like this when they're not around. When they're not here, she only gets us in trouble when she feels she needs to but when they're around, it's for EVERYTHING it seems.

my name is Rachel and iam 17 years old and I have been going swimming every day for severl weeks now and Iam starting to get tired of it,but when I try to tell my cousins no I don't want to go swimming my cousin who is 13 and is perfectly normal by the way uses my cousin who is autistic and is 15 by the way to say please rachel go swimming with us and I don't have the heart to tell him no how can I tell my cousins no I don't want to go swimming without them getting mad at me when my cousin who is 13 uses my other cousin who is autistic to get me to go swimming with them?

My four year old nephew who is turning five has his birthday on the 8th of this month, (in two days)and i want to make him a present, because i havent gotten paid yet, so i really dont have money until next week, which kinda sucks, and i have a lot of craft things, a whole bunch in matter of fact.
So does anybody have any ideas?
I have feathers, colored paper, paint, foam board, colored pencils, stickers, beads, different colors of string, etc.

I was raped when i was 13 1/2 and i got pregnant. Im now 14 almost 15 and i have a 4 month old. Shes a lot of work but i love her a lot. My dad tried to talk me out of keeping the baby but i kept her. My parents have kicked me out because of her and i live with some friends. It wasnt my fault that i got pregnant so do you think i should have got rid of her by abortion or kept her or are my parents wrong?

omg i am sooooo sad this weekend i found out that my sister mardi passed away in child birth and the baby didn't survive either. then i came home and found out that my boyfriend almost got drunk off his ass this weekend. and i'm worried cause i lost my uncle in a car accident cause of driving while he was drunk. i just don't want to lose joe he means the world to me and i love him and i'm not afraid to admitt it anymore i thought i didn't love him but i do. i just don't want to feel alone anymore what should i do about joe and what should i tell my parents they don't even know yet????

Okay this is going to be REALLY long, this all started when i was doing my clothes at around 11.... i wanted to clean some of my clothes so i would have something to wear tomorrow.
so i threw 2 pairs of abercrombie pants in the wash and dryer. so my mom was all like throw some of my jeans in! but i was half way threw the cycle to put any thing else in the the wash so i didnt bother.
then we went out and i was all nice to her. very nice. this lasted till about 3?
then i got home around like 3:30, and wow was it hell. i put my jeans in the dryer. so they would be dry for about 4:00. then my mom threw in some of her stuff, so i threw in the whites that were dirty in too. no problem with that right...
