fruit shake

usually for breakfast i have a fruit shake and a half a cup of oatmeal.
in my fruit shake i usually put about 15 blueberries, and 15 rasberries, about 4 strawberries and 2 cups of milk. a teaspoon of flaxeed and a teaspoon of wheat germ. also about a tablespoon of protein powder.
how many calories do you think is in my breakfast?
is this a good breakfast?

egg yolk

hi there.
i am a male 20 and i do a fair bit of exercise daily to reduce my weight. i dont eat non veg stuff at all except eggs. what i want to ask is that everyday after exercising i have 5 or 6 boiled eggs as a source of protein but people at my gym advised me to throw away the yolk of the boiled egg and eat onlt the white part as according to them yolk has lots fo colestrol and fats and i should avoid it to help reduce my weight. can anybody please tell me if its true becouse i am seriously under the plan to reduce 10 kgs of weight and any help would be welcomed. thanks

Advice on a sleep-free night?

Okay I'm goign to participate in a 14 hour walk at my school and it's for cancer (cancer is hard, and walking is isn't and I suck at gym so i don't volunteer for marathons but this is walking so how great is that?).

Well you have a group of 12 and at least ONE member from your group must be walking on the track during the 14 hours. And I don't think I'll be sleeping either (starts at 5pm, end at 7am next day). Two years ago I used to stay up til 2am and it's no problem but on school nights I'm so exhausted and it's only 10pm!

And tips and stuff? I'd really hate to have a rare condition of fainting or something and causing trouble/embarrassment, thanks.

Weight Loss

14/f. I walk fast on the treadmill 5-6 times a week for 45 minutes. then I do some arm and leg weights, and then I do trunk twists to get rid of my love handles. My legs are nice and toned and I'm happy with them, but my stomach is a disaster! I've been working out like this for a few weeks now and I can't get it to shrink! I want a flat stomach, but when I sit down you can seriously take 5 or 6 handfuls of my stomach fat. I don't know what to do. I do crunches on a fitness ball as well, but NOTHINGS WORKING! Im going to Florida in 6 weeks and I really just want to be skinny! I'm done being chubby and not fitting into clothes. i want a flat stomach and overall great body. but this stomach won't budge. I eat special k every day for breakfas...

Energy Drinks

Someone told me that Energy drinks speed up your matablisim sorry couldn't spell that. But is that true? Like if you don't eat anything, but drink enegry drinks will you get thinner? I know its unhealthy and I'm not gonna do it. Just curious. Thanks.

eating disorders

I REALLY REALLY need some guidance and I've asked a lot of people for help but NO ONE helps me. They just think I need to eat bc I'm so skinny. But what I'm going through is a disaster. I was diagnosed with anorexia. I was eating 600 calories a day and I was very, very obsessive. I almost died.I had been doing that for about a year. If I would have kept it up for 2 more weeks, I would have lost my life!! I already lost my period and every week I have to go to the gyno until I get it back because since I haven't gotten it, my ovaries are full of cysts and I may have to get surgery. But, now I've gotten a lot better. But, as far as the eating disorder, things are pretty bad. I go thru phases where I binge one day and eat uncontrollably and wh...

Apple Fast...To eat the seeds or not eat the seeds.

I would like to start my apple fast tomorrow. I have read that you are supposed to eat the seeds. One coworker said she does not because the seeds have arsenic. The other coworker said she eats them anyway and they don't cause any harm despite the supposed arsenic. What do you all think? Thank you.

cheese and eggs?

i am a male of 20. i have been going to gy for a while (3 years). after a lot of efforts i succeeded in gaining muscle mass as i ama eggetarian(no flesh) and it prooved harder then i thought. as a source of protein i have been having cheese in adequate amounts and some eggs to but not daily.but this winter i gaines weight around my belly and chest which i hate.the thing is if will try to cut my diet a bit then i may loose my hard earned muscles but i want to loose excess fat without loosing the muscle mass. shoul i continue having the cheese and eggs stuff while i am under the weight control period ar are they too fat increasing in nature that they may make t\my efforts to loose weight gain go in vain. please help me and even with additional tips if u can.

No appetite?

I'm 18/f, and lately I haven't had any appetite at all. Sure, I get hungry, but then when I eat, it seems like I get full really quickly and I just can't eat whatever portion is there in front of me. I rarely eat more than half of whatever I get at restaurants. I do have unusual eating habits anyway: I'm very picky, and I have a chaotic eating schedule, and normally don't eat 3 meals a day. The things I just listed are nothing all that new, but the 'no appetite' thing is very recent, it's probably been about a month.

Anyone ever experienced this? I'm definitely not anorexic, but my parents are starting to think so because I hardly eat.

Belly Fat

Hey there fellow advicenators :) this is flirty. So, if you guys haven't seen my pic on my column, I am chubby. Ok... excessively chubby LOL. But I want to lose some weight, preferably some around the belly, in a healthy manner. What are some nutritional tips? And exercise wise? Details would be greatly appreciated. eating disorders

My eating disorder just gets worst and worst! First I wasn't eating anything and I was starving myself. Now I have either a day where I starve myself or a day when I eat everything in sight. Its the most terrible thing ever! But the thing is, that I forgot how to eat normal. Its like today I was gonna be good and then its actually my birthday so they brought cake and I'm not just not gonna eat my birthday cake.... But like my intestines make all this weird noise and they feel like their gonna pop! HELP! I want to learn how to live normally again because for this past year, my life has been only about being thin. It was like its my only priority... someone please help me!

Drinks that count as one of my 5 a day

I have an eating disorder and this year i've been trying new foods everyday, but only in moderation and i'm really anxious around food.
I'm trying to eat as healthy as possible since my body is really wrecked (let that be a warning to anyone striving to be skinny!), anyway i know your meant to eat at least 5 fruits a day and since drinking is easier for me to do i was wondering which fruit drinks will count towards one of my five.

Ribena have some fruit juices but i hate ribena as i find it makes me more thirsty.
We have Supermarkets own brand Orange Juice which i like but i don't think thats as healthy.

If you have any recomendations that would be really appreciated, thank you.
