Quitting a part-time job

I recently got a job doing birthday parties at a bowling alley. I got the job because my manager from my last job (which was also doing birthday parties) works there now, so it was kind of favor. But after the first couple of weeks, I realized I just don't want to do it. I'm so sick of doing the parties. How do I quit? Do I stick it out? Do I just tell her I don't want to do it?

I went to an interview last week and the person asked me how I prepared for it. I was caught off guard by this question and stumbled around for a very poor answer in the end. I didn't get the job and I feel like it's because I wasn't prepared for such an easy question. I just didn't know if I should say the truth about feeling overwhelmed and trying to pack my brain full of knowledge or what exactly. I probably overthought what my answer should be but I'm still not sure what is something good to say.
Well, I have another interview coming up with a different place on Monday and I'm really nervous about it. What is a good answer if they ask, "So, tell me how you prepared for this interview..."?! I don't want to ...

Resume's

When a job application says "send resume to xxx@xxx.com", do i send it as an attatchment, or copy and paste it from the word document as text on the e-mail? I can see the advantage of an attatchment, i.e. its easier to read as its a seperate, but some people may be weary, because you get the "only open files from trusted sources" thing. Any Idea's? Thanks in Advance :)

I was reading here about somebody doing a W@H job for awhile. I don't know if it's common for them to go out of business but I figured that if there was ONE company doing something with Work@Home then more companies were offering this type of job opportunity. Where can I find REAL work at home jobs though? I am in the U.S. if that matters...

How to professionally "proof-read" someone's work?

I am very good at "proof-reading" written material. I did this in college for a few friends and, eventually, when I became an English tutor. I know that people have many people look over their writing before having it published so I was curious if there was a way to actually become someone that does that for a living. What would the job-title be and how would I find something along that line of work?

Covering letter

18/m, student at college. When writing a covering letter, how much do you need to suck up? I have googled lots of websites for advice, but its all the standard info, nothing practical (greatly). Like this cookie store has a part-time opening. They are litterelly known for the best cookies in the city, but i dont know if i should put that? Because it seems a bit "im desperate for the job"?
Theres also a family run coffee store/deli opening. They dont even have a website, so i can't even research the company? Any idea's for that. I do have a passion for food, but i dont think thats enough? Any practical help withh be great, thanks in advance folks :)

Job Application: Most visited website ...

The place I work for is closing down and I'm going to be laid off in a few weeks. I am searching for a new job opportunity and have been applying to many places. The work I've been doing deals with the computer/internet so I find that on many job applications they ask more personalized questions like:
"What is your most visited website?"
and
"What is your favorite website?"
I don't want to name something stupid or make myself look bad or immature. What are some really good suggestions for my favorite or most-visited website so this employer won't turn me down?

When I was a kid, I was signed with a modeling agency. Sometimes, my mom would actually take me to my job offers, where I got to star in movies / tv shows as an extra.
I'm 18 now, and I want to do it again. My question is, does one NEED an agency to hook them up with these jobs? If not, where can I find out about them and what necessary steps do I have to take?

Okay I know I need to start thinking about what I want to do when I grow up! I will be in college VERY soon. So I have listed what I would like in a job. PLease if you cna tell me some jobs that would be good for me:
. FIRST PRIORITY: I want to help people, take care of them make them feel better.
. I want to make good money! Incase I have to live on a single income I want to be able to pay the bills and still go shopping.I don't want to live paycheck to paycheck.
. I don't want to have to go to college for 10 years, rather 4-5.
. I want to work with either teens and adults or elderly.
. I want to love my job.

I hate my job!

As I'm sure there are alot of people out there that can also say that...but I really hate my job.
I started working for ABC Company (Subcontractor construction company) in November 2008 as an Office Manager, even though my boss has never let me manage the office. My boss is a very poor business man, very messy (the office is always disgusting and I have to reorganize my desk every time I come in), I'm asked to do stuff for his wife while working for him (she's a VP for nursing homes and can't afford her own assistant) which I quit doing after working for her on my own time and not getting paid for it (eventhough she said she'd pay me). When I started this job, I loved it. After 3 months I got a $1 an hour raise and was g...

Okay so, I was sitting around thinking about goals for myself and I was thinking I really want to be an actress, ya know, make something of myself. I'm stuck in my tiny town and I can't get out. I want all of the people in my town to be put on the map, for us to be recognized, for us to be something. I want to be able to die and be happy because I did everything possible, no regrets. I want to be the next Selena Gomez or Miley Cyrus, they both come from small towns and rose to the top, of course Billy Ray had a big part in Miley's excellence. I want to do this, I am so dedicated, I want to be seen on tv, wear beautiful dresses, meet the stars, attend Gala events, I want to be on Disney Channel, I didn't think small town girls were possible ...

I had recently gotten a paper for Barbizon Modeling Agency. I was thinking last night when I got it but I wasn't sure if I wanted to go through with it or not because it can run into a lot of money. However, throughout the day today I was thinking a lot about it. Moises Arias of Hannah Montana took the Barbizon classes, as did Nicole Anderson of JONAS, and Sofia Vacilliavas (spelling?) of Medium and My Sister's Keeper. This was the second time I got this paper and this agency wants me to call to book and audition on Sunday, today is Thursday. Workplace Harassment

I live in a state that employess individuals at will and a friend of mine is being harassed at work by her supervisory along with one of her closest cronies. Being that she feels her supervisor will simply say, "just find another job" if she expresses her discontent, what can she do to address her situation? She also states that she feels were she to confront her manager the regional manager above her would take the supervisor's side regarding what she perceives as the maltreatment of her, other employees, and customers. Futthermore, are their any workers compensation claims she she can make regarding work related stress caused by her supervisor and her cronie?
