I am a 16 year old girl who has trouble finding and keeping good friends. This has been a problem since mid-elemetary school. I feel lonley and bored a lot and really wish I had some good friends. How can I make more friends and be happier?

I am bisexual, and I have feelings for my best friend Lara I liked for 8 years before I went out with Tony. I broke up with him because I was in love with her and I was using him to get over her. Lara is my first girl crush. 5 moths ago I told her how I felt but she doesn’t feel the same way because she is unsure about her sexuality. Tony is still friends with me after the break up and he is friends with Lara too. Tony lives in Hawaii and he call me 3 years later, he told me that he still likes me, but I told him that I don’t feel the same way. 10 months or less he call me and told me he has a girlfriend and ask her to marry her. winter wonderland!!!!

okay well i missed one of my good friend's bday parties on saturday. since then i've been busy to the max and i feel really bad cause shes in high school so i dont see her often and i wanna get her a gift.. i mean her real bday was on monday but i couldnt get it for the tons of things i had to do. so whats something thoughtful, nice and not too expensive to get her? she just turned 15. thanks!

Ok, so well last year, i was kind of the queen bee of my grade.
then all my best friends left my school.
so i settled for the coolest one out of all the girls;
one girl who i fought with last year and this new girl.
they would always leave me (as in not wait for me if i was getting my stuff after class)
and now they're kind of closer and that mkaes our threesome (not like that...) kind of messsed up. i just want to be back on top again :]

Me and my 2 best friends (girls) like my other best friend (guy) i grew up with him and he was my best friend for the last 3 years. I’ve never had a boyfriend (bf) but I told him I liked him and he said he liked me then everything just stopped for 2 weeks i dono why and we did nothing about it and for a week of that i was in dead hate with him id do anything to piss him off but now were really close again (cursing him out to telling him I love him(in a friend way).

Two "Bff"'s

I have a friend, and she has been my best friend for seven years. Recently, we got in a huge fight, and we weren't talking for three weeks. So i thought we were done being friends. I took her completely off of my top friends on myspace, and she called me crying when she found out. So i put her back on. But while i wasn't talking to her, i started a really good friend ship with another girl, and we became better friends then me and the other girl ever were. Now that me and my original bff are okay again, she thinks were bff's again, when really the other girl is the better friend. But the two don't get along, and expect me to be their best friend. Im so confused.

Heyyy guyss. Well heres the deal, Im kinda really timid. Like I do have a good group of really close friends, but they are all so outgoing. Im not like that at all and I really want to be. Like I want to meet new people but I never know what to say because I think I'll sound soo stupid (mainly because I've never had high self confidence). But anyway, I hate being so shy like I can talk to some guys but not without feeling kinda ackward. I hate it though because I dont talk to many guys so I've never really gone out with anyone. Sad huh? Anyways please give some tips on how to be um, less timid? thanks alot!

I know the holidays aren't until december, But me and my friends picked a secret santa, the friend i picked is very girly, she uses a lot of lotions and pefumes.. and she wears earings everyday.. you know stuff like that. I dont know what to get her! I was thinking of getting her something from bath and body works except, she has a lot of that type of stuff.
We also have a budjet.. we are trying to not spend too much money, we want it to be like 10 or 15 dollars. What do you think i should get her that is around the price range of 10-15 dollars? If you give examples what stores can u find it in?

I’ve been in every group at my school during all grade school. They came and gone. But my old friends weren’t that much like me perky and preppy and everything but they were pretty nice. But with my friends now I’ve had for a year (old friends say were gothic) seem like the best friends I’ve never had. Now I pretty much left my old friends but in a way I miss them but then I also don’t. I left them because they wouldn’t let me make new friends and were pretty much opposites. im not shy at all and i have no problem talking to people. now that i started high school i want to branch out and make a lot of friends. i talk to alot of new people but i dontknow how to take the talking to the next level and like start hanging out with them. i still am kinda intimidated because the girls i want to be friends with are kinda popular and i dont want to feel like an idiot asking to go somewhere. i cant have a party or people over cause my house is weird and doesnt have a place for people to hang out. i really really want new friends, i just need some help

My friend moved this year to a big new school far away. Now we feel like we are losing her. She's changed. She tells me how shes been getting drunk and stuff. She always brags about her friends. I am dating my friends ex, and have been dating him happily for about 5 months.
Yes, it was a bit dramatic at first, but everything between my friend and both of us is grand now. Thier relationship was a short one and they were pretty mis-matched.
The problem is a lot of our mutual friends don’t know this or they suspect it, but don’t actually know for certain. She never told anyone (I had mistakenly assumed she had told most people), and our friends are used to me being pretty tight lipped about my love-life. I’m not sure how to bring it up now without it seeming like I was misleading people before.

My "Best" friend did it again and I'm not sure to react this time. We have know each other for 30 years. We say we were in the womb together because our parents were friends and we hung out and sleep at each others house til the end of high school. We lost touch while she was in college but then we hooked back up again. We worked together and then I got pregnant.
