making a difference and being noticed

Ok so i've been trying to get my life back on track now and it seems to be falling in place i've been a better person and i like the person i'm turning out to be me and my friends have so much to say about things and i really think we could make a difference anyway my question here is whats a way we could really make a difference and make people notice us and notice we have many good talents and i'm not trying to brag or anything cause i know there are people out there that have better talents then us or whatever but we want to be noticed in a positive way we've been acting differently and we are better people now or are working at it any suggestions

okay there's this girl who is a freshman and just moved here (im a sophomore) and sits next to me in in my bio class. omg she is so clingy!! and she talks soo much about stupid stuff that i dont care about! like how her uncle is visiting or how she went to some auction over the weekend..yadda yadda..
and worse, she has this awful accent so i dont understand anything she says to me. she thinks im like her bff just because i said it was okay to sit next to me. my friend who sits on the other side of me things shes clingy too but i dont know how to shake her. she's kinda nice, like she always tells me what's going on when im sleeping in class, but she's really irritating.
how can i shake her off?

My friend Michelle told me lies in high school in our senior year in 2004. I had lunch by myself and Michelle had a short day at school every day because she had work and she can leave the grounds in the middle of school around noon. When she left I had lunch and sometimes she didn’t have work. So I was hoping she will hang out with me at lunch. But then I never see her come visit me. Last time she came up to me at lunch time and she told me “I can’t stay to long because my mom wants me home” I ask “why?” she said that her mom doesn’t want her to stay at school if she can go home at noon every day. my friend, gets picked on by this pink haired goth emo freaks. all the time. their mean to her just because she has blonde hair and blue eyes and she wears abercrombie. she doesnt even know these kids names. & they book her and say mean things to her all the time. i wanna always stand up for her. but i dont. because they all said they wanna kill all the people in school that just look at them the wrong way. so, i dont wanna mess with them.

Well my friend gets mad extremely easy and at school on thursday morning she thought I was mad at her so she avoided me and told a lot of people that I was mad at her( I wasn't though) Then at lunch I went up and asked her if something was wrong and she told me that everything was fine but the rest of the day she was very rude to me and she began acting like she was mad so I was very concerned. So Friday I assumed she was mad at me and I avoided her at all costs and I talked to ONE friend about what she was doing. My worst friend's wedding

20/f My little sister died eight months ago and all but one of my friends in college completely failed me. They continued to spend most of our time together talking about and doing things I couldn't participate in. They often played violent video games when I was in the room even though I told them how much it bothered me (and they weren't playing when I eneterd the room). They even criticized how I was grieving and got mad at me for being a killjoy. I have spoken with them over a dozen times about how their behavior often excludes me or just makes me feel worse. I know it's selfish, but I wanted to be the center of attention for a little while, while I healed from my tragic loss- but they refuse.

me & my boyfriend are REALLY REALLY serious and i dont know what to get him for christmas.
i was going to get personalized dog tags but i found out he wouldnt really like that.
well now since i know that im going to get him a joke gift of a dog tag that says michelles property 9-21-06 (name& date we started dating.)
now i know i at least am going to try to get a chain for him...i know hell like it for a fact... but thats all i know to get him.

Alright, I have two great friends and then one of them is my best friend. They both were, but the one got a boyfriend and spends all her time with him.
Well, my best friend and I have been hanging out with these two guys but things didn't work out for me, but they are working out for her.
And I don't want them to.
That's so slefish but I don't know.
And the boy my best friend likes and he likes her is best friends with my other good friend's boyfriend.
That's hard to understand.

Okay, so I went out with this guy who my friends all hated. Hate is a strong word, but that's the only way to describe it. At first they stopped talking to me but they were mature about it and decided not to let it get in the way of the friendship.
They warned me he was selfish, and would probably cheat on me because he's selfish and a rumour spread around about it before. But he was into me back then, and yeah rumours aren't real.
Well, turns out he only went out with me because he wanted something from me, and yeah pretty much cheated. My friends don't know yet, and I don't know how to tell them and how to act and react around them when they say the "I told you so's"

Alright so im 14/f. anddd like im sort of going out with this guy who is in 8th grade, while i'm a freshman. we're a year and a half apart. I was just wondering if this is weird.. considering i'm a freshman and hes still, you know, in middle school. i mean he acts pretty mature and stuff, and he looks my age, but i was just wondering if it seemed weird or.. like not right to anyone?

Hey. I'm 14/F and my friend is 13/F. She was diagnosed with Luekimia last month. Can anyone think of thinks a FOURTEEN YEAR OLD can do, someone with very little money on her hands, to raise some money or help out my friend Caroline. I really want to help, and someone else has already organized a walk to raise money so that idea is out. Any ideas would be very much appreciated and I do rate.

P.S. I don't know what kind of luekimia she has but I know she has started Chemo already and she's really sick due to the side affects of it.
And the ideas don't have to raise money, but if it's something that can make her feel a little better, or comfort her please let me know, I want to do anything it takes to help her.

I like my best friend. i grew up with him and he was my best friend for the last 3 years. I told him I liked him and he said he liked me then everything just stopped for 2 weeks i dono why and we did nothing about it and for a week of that i was in dead hate with him id do anything to piss him off but now were now really close again (cursing him out to telling him I love him(in a friend way). i love him but I treat him like my other best friends. Apprehensive About College Roomates!

Okay, I need advice and I didn't know who else to ask. I'm feeling incredible apprehensive about living situations next year when I move to college. I'm supposed to be living with my two best friends. It's not that I don't trust them, it's just that I am very worried about differring priorities. I have one friend who is REALLY into partying, and who JUST GOT ENGAGED. The other, like me is still a partier, but feels that getting the education you're paying SOO MUCH for is more important. Most of all, I'm worried about my partying friend paying her rent, or not leaving in the middle of the year to live with her fiance. I'm wanting to address the issue, but I don't exactly know how to bring it up... Any advice would be REALLY appreciated!

i have a huge crush on this guy but i denied it to everyone including him. Well Em, him and one of our friends were hanging and at the end of the night he was bringing me home and we had sex. Having sex with him just increased my feelings for him. I'm afraid to tell him that i want to be with him. I don't want him to think that i like him because of just the sex because thats not the situation at all. I liked him before we had sex, sex just made it stronger.

one of my friends is ali and ive known her ever since kindergarten. well i also play on a soccer team with her.
another one of my friends, but not as close, is rachel.(i go to school w/ her, but not w/ ali)
well just recently, we needed one more person on out soccer team to play in the league. so i ask rachel if she wanted to play with us and she said yes
