No friends, social anxiety.

Okay. I'm fifteen. I have trouble making friends, I've always been around adults so I adjust and talk better with them rather than people my age.
I have four (people who I would consider) friends... N, B, L, A.
N- Seventeen, different school,can talk to on facebook (rarely) only see at church.
B- had a falling out. Has depression and wont come over anymore despite my massive attempts to help.
L- Different school, always busy, strict parents.
R- only see at church, except when r comes over. (once in a blue moon.)
Me: Major social anxiety, suffer from panic attacks.. And I'm going into college next year.
How can I make friends, and get out...

my best friend beat up my little brother

19/Male i am from Nigeria. my best friend beat up my little brother violently, and now my dad want's me to get back at him,but he's been my best friend for years. part of me want's to get back him,part of me still sees him as a friend.am very confuse,don't know what to do.

How can I stop being so awkward when messaging my friends?

Hi there. I have social anxiety. Lately, it's really gotten to be a problem when it comes to interacting with other people, especially my friends. Even sending messages online is incredibly awkward. I take a long time to respond to the simplest of messages because I overthink things, but even though I know this, I still can't stop approach it any other way.
A lot of my friends have stopped talking to me online because it's just too awkward. Half the time I end up repeating myself, contradicting myself, or I put my foot in my mouth and say something I shouldn't have. I don't know what to do about it. Any advice would be welcome.

So about 8 months ago, me and this guy started talking. We didn't talk in school, we only texted (just friends).
Later we got into this HUGE fight and I told him I didn't want to be his friend anymore only because I was mad, not because I meant it.
Anyway, he got mad at me and didn't talk to me. Then when I finally got him to talk to me again he said he doesn't think he should be friends with a person who doesn't want to be friends with him (even though I told him I didn't mean it).
We don't talk anymore and it's really awkward at school. But my problem is that we're not friends and I don't exactly know why. It's not because of that one thing that I said.

Behavior Change

I am a 11th grade girl and I had told my friend I like him. He told me he likes me back but rather not doing anything about it because of some differences and he likes another girl more. We continued to be friends for 4 months but recently I have noticed he hasn't been talking to me much and when I message him his replies are short. Any idea why? Should I ask? I know before he started acting like this I was also kind of quiet and sometimes rude to him. How can I make it better? There are only three days of school. Also, if it doesn't get better I want to get over him, but it really hurts.

I need help with friends

Hi,
I'm usually pretty good at giving advice, but this I can't help myself with. I'm 13 and I just got transferred to a new place. I've been here for two months now. As many people here are teens they love to act all grown up and I'm not comfortable with the kind of things they do and the language they use, so I'm not friends with anyone, I tried to adjust and get used to them but without a friend I just can't manage. I'm kind of shy but I can make friends easily, but no one is like me (a little kiddish and crazy) everyone loves to act all grown up. I'm having a tough time making friends, please give me some advice on how I can adjust or I'll end up a lonely girl who talks to herself

Best Friends Birthday

I'm 16, homeschooled girl from USA.
My best friends birthday is next month and I want to do something special for her. I've known her my whole life but we really got really close in 7th grade and we've been inseparable since.(I mean see each other almost everyday and do everything together.She even says I'm the only person she can tolerate being around for long periods of time)
I love her as much as someone can in a friend way.
She is basically family and has done so much for me throughout my life I doubt she even realizes how much I look up to and respect her, and I feel like I don't help her nearly as much... But anyway, a few months ago for my birthday she posted this really sweet and nice post ...

Is it normal, when you are making a new same sex friend, particularly someone you look up to, to always have them on your mind and feel sad when you have to leave them? I don't mean in a romantic or sexual way; no physical attraction, just emotional. I'm not writing this because I'm worried that I'm gay or anything. I just worry that I'm overly vulnerable and get too emotionally attached to people I'm in the beginning stages of a close friendship with. The thing is, I'm pretty reserved and hold back in showing someone how much I like them because I'm worried about becoming clingy or whatever. We're both boys, age 14. Both of us are straight
We act like we're not bestfriends. Everytime we take a bus, I sleep on his shoulder. Everytime we sleep together we hug each other tightly. We also habittualy say I love you, but most of all, we kiss. I've no idea why we do it. I'm not disturbed by this at all, its fine with me, but it just sounds pretty wrong? When I do it, I feel like the trust between us increases and it feels really good. We both like it and we both understand that it's not a boyfriend kiss.
Do you think it's weird?
And Im really sure we're straight, not bi, but if we're going to end up together, I wont mind, he's fun to be with

A very rude best friend

MY best friend is very rude to me. At school he mocks me. And he gangs up on me with other people. His brother and Mother think he is a metally sick. When I went over to his house to hang out he was very angry at me. I brought him on trips before and he hates them and is rude on them. Back at school I am nice to him and he yells at me. He also thinks he is better than me. He also gets anything he wants. He is a spoiled brat. He fights with me a lot.

I Cut Again

My friend, James, died a week ago and I had to keep my emotions in because it was best to not let my mother know. She'd ask too many questions and I couldn't handle that. He was like a brother to me and I don't know what I'm going to do without him. I cut my arm and my thigh again and it helped for a little while but the pain came back. I'm wondering if I should do it again.

My bestfriend's been acting weird

We're both boys
We're both 16
We've been friends since day 1
Now my bestfriend just got his girlfriend and I was happy at first. But normally, as we all expect, I was left out. When we went out, he always talked and texted on the phone and everything he told me was about his girl. I was pretty annoyed, but I was also very jealous. We've always been great friends, but when she came, that was kinda lost. Now here's the funny part
After two months, another girl showed up and my bestfriend kinda liked her. Now he told me all about her this time, how she was nice and such, and that she was his new bestfriend. Now I thought the same way you did. I was shocked and I ran away like a ch...

Hi im 12 and I need help with my social issues. I had a group of friends once who I was sort of close with but not really, but we were together alot. Then I joined another group of people who I became really close with so I left my other group. Then after a while, my second group of friends( the ones I was close with) disbanded and we each joined different groups except for me, I was left alone because I was too shy to ask to return to my old group. What should I do? I'm too paranoid that I'll be rejected to ask.

Ok, this one's a pretty cliche question, but please... No cliche answers T-T I have absolutely no talent in singing, but all my friends are the opposite, their voices are better than any singer. One of my friends can sing like beyonce, my other friend can hit Grande, and a funny thing, my only male friend can sing emotions by mariah carey and chandelier by sia... Now here's the prob:
I want to sing a right note... I dont need to be as good as these guys, but I at least want to not embarass myself. They treat me so good, honestly! They're the best... I have a good friend who in recent years has been through a string of emotionally abusive and controlling relationships. She has some communications issues because of it and even some PTSD from the trauma of the physical abuse.
I came back into her life after we had a fall out years ago over me trying to talk her house out what because a very abusive dysfunctional relationship with a man who was very schizophrenic.
She was very passive for years with men and friendships and now that i came back a couple years ago and have shown her that she doesnt have to be passive and "doormat" like and that she can demand respect from men and not allow herself to be walked all over. Well its worked really well so...
