Song Writing

My friend and I write songs. She sings and I play the piano.
Our style is sort of like the song How To Save A Life by The Fray or Coldplay or the song Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol.
If I were to make up a simple riff on the piano, how would I know what notes my friend would sing... or the key... or what rhythm? If can't figure this out.

I was in the car with some friends when i heard this song. and I'm wondering who it's by
the beginning and chorus are like
"a tisket a tasket the scarecrow's out his casket turn out the lights and look the door praying that he passes"
and it goes like
"bodies in the feild blood pouring like rain"

Hi, It is MariahWannabe here, and you'd probarbly guess it was me anyway.
Because I'm 13, all the songs mariah made before I was born and between 1993-1997 I don't know all the words and songs.
Please can you all help me out by writing a list of songs that she sung before I was born so I can make some cds and stuff
All I know is "So far"
Please!!!!No 2005/2006 Songs or greatest hits songs please or emancipation songs if you can help it

can someone tell me a song that is basically about a couple who have just broken up, their moving away but she wants him to know she still loves him or just misses him? Maybe even a song with the guy dating another girl now. I'd really appreciate any that you can reccomend, it would help me out heaps.

My friend is in LOVE with the band Relient K. And They are comming to cleveland, on may 7th. I want to get her tickets, but I don't know the age limit and if we would be able to go without a parent.

Okay, so this has been bugging me for the past 2 days. Please don't think I haven't googled this, I have for quite some time. Probably not enough time, but this is really anooying me. I'm the one person who hates these stupid lyrics questions, but I'm being a hypocrite and asking one anyway.
Okay, everyone knows that song Let's Talk About Sex by Salt and Pepa, right? Well there's a song that has some of those lyrics (let's talk about sex baby...etc.) and it also has the lines "it's 5 in the morning". I know it's sung by a guy and I'm pretty sure it's rap (because I heard it on a rap/hip-hop station. MP3 Problems

I just got an MP3 for christmas but I don't know how to get songs on it. Could someone tell me where and how to get them on? Also I don't know if this affects it or not but my MP3 is in a digital camera. Its made by centrios. I am not sure if that affects it though. Could anyone give me step to step instructions on how to do this?

ipod trouble

I just got an IPod Nano for Christmas. Its working fine and everything but I just found out a few days ago that I can put pictures on it. Its only got 838 songs and its supposed to hold like 1000 songs. Its 4GB if that helps. My computer says the IPod is already full. How can i get the picture on it? Do i have to delete some songs?

hi how r u? i have a problem. I had recorded a song on a cassette tape.I want to download it on my pc.so I tried to listen to it and identify some words .i couldn't identify many because the sound is very bad. plz help me to know its name or the singer.I think it's an old song.here r some words.

Lyrics to a song!!!

I'm really desprete here. I've just wasted an hour looking for the lyrics of the song A List Goes On by Starflyer 59 album name: Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice. and I can't find it anywhere. If anyone can link me to a site I will honestly love you forever. Because I need it for school and of course I waited until the last minute. Or the Song "What Belongs To You" I have no clue who it's by. I think they are both Christain songs just because of what came up in the searches I did.
If not does anyone know any songs about lists, and what belongs to us? That would also help. I have to compare a poem I choose to a song. And I can't find a good song. The poem is called "What Belongs To Us" by Marie Howe.
