Can smoking affect your period?

Hi, so yes, I am fifteen and I do smoke. I've been smoking for about a year now. I got my first period when I was eleven years old. So I've had it for about five years. I always had it every other month for 6 days up until recently. As of three months ago, my menstrual cycle has been acting a bit odd. In August, I got my period unusually late. In fact, almost three weeks late. The next month, September, I got my period when it usually comes. It was pretty heavy, but I didn't think much of it. After it ended, about three or four days later, it came back. Much lighter, but it was still obviously my period and not just post-menstrual spotting. Both lasted 7 days. Now this month, October, I got it a little earlier than usual...

How did you tell your mom you got your period?

I just started having my period and I want to tell my mom so that she knows. I am having trouble finding the right words to say that won't embarrass me or make her confused. We don't really talk about periods or anything so I don't want to make the entire thing uncomfortable. From your own personal experience, how did you tell your mom that you had started your period? Well, I guess it doesn't have to be actually your mom, but whoever you told--how did you say you started having periods?

theres some blood in the toilet paper..but it isnt my period

For the third time in the past few weeks, when I whipe my vagina after peeing..theres some blood in the toilet paper..but it isnt my period because I dont start that will the 8th. So is this ovulation or somthing else..? Im sexually active and getting on the pill next month.. :/

cramps too early before my period... why is this happening to me?

im having cramps like two weeks or more before i have my period im on the pill so i know when im supposed to get it and its now not for another week but i keep getting wikid bad cramps but no other simptoms of having my period like my boobs hurting bad! Also im really gassy now maybe cuz i eat certain things but i dont eat anything to different then i usually do and im just noticing that its been a lot more than usual. why am i having cramps like this? and farting to much lol?

Okay, so here lately I've been really wet 24/7, and I haven't been horny AT ALL! I don't understand why I've been so wet for. My discharge doesn't have a smell, or a color. Its clear.

Today I was taking a poop, and before I wiped, I pee'd. Well, when I went to wipe, I noticed something long, thin dangling from my vagina hole, and I wiped it and it was like gel, or jelly.
It was clear, and no smell, && I rubbed it between my fingers, and it didn't come apart. Kind of like the silly putty that farts when you press it in the cup and it makes a sound. It didn't leave any access discharge on my fingers, it stayed together.

ok so, my entire vagina has been super sore and like stinging. inside and out. i've never had sex before so im pretty sure it's not an STD. it started about 2 days after my period and im still on my period right now. it almost feels like it might be swollen. and im also having MAXIMUM discharge. it's about 10x more than I normally have on a daily basis. It's really disgusting. Basically what I want to know is what this is, why it's happening, and how I can prevent it or stop it.

My period ended 3 days before schedual. I have stomach pains. Light headed every time I walk around. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex two weeks ago. Saying all this, could i possibly be pregnant? How would I tell my mom? I'm only 16.

So i'm not gonna get into detail or anything but last weekend I hooked up with this guy, whatever. Well now this week I have my period and we're all going to be partying tomorrow so before he tries fingering me or going down my pants how do I warn him that I have my period?? And will he be grossed out and not want to touch me or anything??

Can I masturbate with a tampon?

I have been masturbating for the past year or so and but I've never really masturbated with something because I can't buy a dildo without my parents finding out. Well, I was thinking today about tampons and how they go inside you when you're on your period. Can I masturbate with a tampon? Is it dangerous to do something like that? I want to be safe so does anybody know anything about this before I try it out? And I mean using it to masturbate when you're NOT on your period.

I had my period about two weeks ago... and now my boobs hurt?

I had my period about two weeks ago. it lasted for seven days and i bleed heavily as normal. this week(two weeks later) my boobs hurt. so it can't be because im getting my period.. i haven't had sexual intercourse after i got my period so what can be wrong? ps: i am a gymnast and i was wondering if maybe it could be my muscels that are sore?

i am on an anitbiotic right now and to let you know the 8th of july is when i got my period it was normal five days then it went brwon and it went away on the 17th the next day im bleeding blood like a period and it lasted like a day its light now going away. but i was just wondering why it came again and for such a short period of time.

What would happen if I have sex in the shower on my period?

My boyfriend and I are really horny and want to have sex. We haven't yet because we're young and I don't want to be a teenage mom. We've talked about it a lot and he's so afraid of getting me pregnant so I totally understand.
I was thinking about still having sex with him but during my period so it's like impossible to get pregnant. He is all for it and is really excited about it. :)
The problem is that the blood will probably make a mess, I'm guessing. I figured we could do it in the shower though and then everything would work out fine and the blood can just wash down the drain. I think this might sound pretty sexy and we can make it fun with the water.

When is it normal to ovulate?

I am getting a bit confused here and need some understanding.
The first day of my last period was 6/16/2010 making my ovulation day on or around 6/25. I have a regular 28 days cycle and have always had my period when it was expected.
My partner and me had sex on 7/5/2010, now I am wondering if I could get pregnant since it was on one of my 'safe' days. I am have been reading conflicting reports and I am now very curious. My next period is scheduled for 7/14.

small red tissue pieces in vagina after sex

Ok this is kind of disgusting but recently, while I was having sex with my boyfriend, he noticed that after he pulled out, there was a very very small red chunk of tissue on his penis. So he looked in my vagina and found another small red chunk of tissue. We were both confused. We both know that its not an std because we both got checked and I'm nowhere near my period. I've been sexually active for about a year now so its not my hymen breaking. Does anyone have any idea of what this could be?

I had my first period on Jun 7, 2010. I am expecting my second period within the next few days. I am having the symptoms... cramps, I am crabby, and my boobs are really sore. Also... I need some new feminine hygene products. I am not in the mood to spend a lot of time in that aisle... so does anybody have any suggestions for a good overnight pad and pantiliner? Thanks!
