nursing?

I'm graduating high school in june 2011. I can't choose between majoring in nursing or fashion merchandising. I know thats a big difference but I see good things in both. I love fashion and am really interested in the business on the other hand I feel like I should help people in life and being a nurse would do that. The only problem with nursing is I don't know if I could deal with wounds and stuff like that but I also no it's a good career with many job opportunities for sure. I just don't know! What do you guys think? or offer any info on nursing and fashion if you have any too :)

Devry... Useless?

Ive been going to devry for about 2 years now, I can honestly say that I have hardly learned anything.
-They are extremely unorganized in everything they do.
-I commute an hour and a half to get to the school.
-One day they tell me they have dorms, the next they tell me dorms wont be ready till november. Now they are telling me I can move down but have to move in with people but Im supposed to be moving in with a friend.
-I cant even walk into their student help office without flipping out anymore.
-I feel like Im wasting so much money for this crap.
-Classes are useless, 8 weeks of programming, 1 day a week...wtf am i supposed to learn there!?
-Im getting so unfocused because of how cruddy ...

Ok so I have been freaking out about what I "want to be when I grow up" for a long time since I'm a junior in highschool now. Well recently, I've finally decided I want to be an art teacher, preferably at the highschool level. I asked my art teacher what she majored in during college and she said "art education" but I'm kind of afraid that if I limit it to just "art" education then there wont be any schools that need an art teacher...so I did some research and found out that at some schools you can double up and major in both "art" and "general education". It sounds like that might be better in case I cant find any specificly art jobs...right? I don't really know where to go from here I gues...

credit card fraud punishment?

does anyone know what the punishment for credit card fraud is in ohio. this guy did not know he did it because he was very dunk, but there is a picture of him buying cigarettes and a case of coca cola. any one know what the punishment will be if he is guilt?

19/f. Sophomore in college.
I've always been a good student. I'm not saying I get straight A's but I have pretty consistent A's and B's. My freshman year, I took all my core classes. Like I took most of my sciences and my maths and stuff like that. I already took all my English classes, and I did pretty well. Math and Science were a STRUGGLE and English was like an easy A. I wrote most of my papers with my eyes closed. But, I got through them and now most of my classes are electives. This semester I am taking Statistics, Public Speaking, Theatre Appreciation, Intro to Acting, and Into to Sociology. I have dropped 2 courses in my entire college career so far. I applied for the University Of Central Florida's Summer Session (UCF) and I am so nervous about getting in.My Gpa is about a 3.25 but weighted it's about a 3.4 or 3.5 but ACT was low and I got a composite of a 21. I took the test 2 times and and got a 21 both times.I have taken many honors courses and 1 AP class last year,(i passed the AP exam) and this year I'm taking 3 AP classes and all honors.Yet,I haven't taken many math courses. I've taken algebra 1,geometry, algebra 2, integrated math,and now i'm taking advanced algebra w/ financial applications,but I just submitted my application probably 5-6 days ago and it's rolling admission so I should only have to wait maybe a month,but i'm so nervous! I am graduating this year and am considering majoring in fashion merchandising. I've always been interested in fashion and I think I could be good with business. I don't have like a super awesome style but I'm very interested. anyone have any advice on it or info? thanks a ton!

University of central florida

Hello, I'm a VERY scared senior. I REALLY want to go to UCF,but I've been so very concerned that I may not get in. All of my friends,family members, guidance counselors and other adults are telling me that I'll most likely get in but I'm still nervous. My gpa is a 3.25 but weighted out it's probably around a 3.45 or 3.5 but my ACT scores are the issue. entertainment business majors

if someone can help me i will worship the ground you walk on.
i want to be an entertainment business major, either concentrating on music business or film/tv, movies business.
any colleges in north eastern US will be great. or preferably, the bay area (california). even southern california will be okay. but really, anywhere in the US haha
i cannot go to USC, NYU, or any school like that cause i'm not qualified lol. also not five towns college, or point park cause i've heard of them already.

Community College/ University...HELP?

Okay so I'm in Community College, I'm majoring in History...because, well, I want to be a history teacher. In community college, you can't minor. So when I transfer to a University, that's when I add the Education part right?
I'm asking because there's also a degree program called Social Science Education. Aren't they both the same? I know you really don't get down to the education part until your junior year anyway, right? So does it matter if I take History or Social Science education?
please clear this up for me, i'm so confused!

I just told my professor that I didn't hand in my major assignment. I wanted to keep it quiet until he brought it up but thought I should let him know for courtesy. Embarrassing as it is, I am thinking what he must think of me now: a complete idiot! How do I deal with the situation?

I'm a senior and i'm going to be graduating this year. I'm thinking about attending the university of Cincinnati but i have some concerns because its such a huge city. has anyone ever been there? i just want to know if its bad. i've been to the campus and it was awesome and seems like a great school.
also should i just take the chance and go if i like the campus? i'm very indecisive, i live like 5 hours away from the university so it's kinda overwhelming to think about!
