Spoiled sons at Christmas

Christmas means a lot to me and I have always tried to make it a happy day for my family. I decorate the house, put up a tree, my husband cooks for a big family get-together, and of course the exchanging of presents. This tradition has become problematic.
There is definitely a sense of entitlement on the part of the boys. (One is 16 and the other 20). They are “entitled” to a big and expensive Christmas. They want to know how much things cost; they complain that they didn’t get as much as the year before; they complain one got more than the other or the presents they did get don’t really qualify to be “special” Christmas gifts. They complain that my husband and I spend more on each oth...

Early Pregnancy

It is common to have bad dreams in early pregnancy? I think I might be pregnant. My first pregnancy, I had to have a DNC at 10 weeks, I had bad dreams. Is that common? If so, how long does it last? I hate to be scared! hahaha

How do i know who is my baby's father

hello my name is marialuisa, about six months ago my husband and I were having some problems i tought he was cheating on me so i freaked out and decided to do the same thing...Thing that i'm not very proud of.
A month and a half later i found out that i was pregnant, my last menstrual period was on july 1 2006, usually doctors say that my conception date was on the between 15 and 19 of july... but i didn't have sex in those dates.
I had sex after the 26 of july wich seems impossible to get pregnant, i dont understand, doctors keep changuing my due date, and the ultrasounds are very confusing.
My husband knows what is going on because i told him, as soon as all this hapened. He thinks is his baby at least he hopes...But ...

How do I tell my child her dad is really not her dad?

Hi I'm 24 years old and I have a 7 year old daughter. I had My daughter when I was 16 and at the time was seeing this guy whao cheated on me the night I found out I was at a party and was drunk. Not that thats a excuse but this other guy had been persuing me for a while so I went home with him and we slept together. After that night my boyfriend and I kept seeing eachother he told me it was a lye he never cheated on me and ofcourse I was dumb and fell for it. Meanwhile I was already hooked with this other guy and we kept seeing eachother he new about my boyfriend and didnt care we kept it a secret til this day nobody knows we were ever together.

I need advice about a child custody issue.

I really don't even know where to begin. My boyfriend found out two months ago that he was potentially the father of a two year old girl. He took the DNA test and he is the father. We have been together since a couple of months after the child was conceived. I have a 6 year old and we have a ten month old together.
The mother of the little girl was arrested for drug use and the child was put in temporary custody of the grandmother.
My boyfriend wasn't even in a relationship with this girl, it was just a very stupid mistake he made. Now they are trying to get him for back child support, as well as current support and medical bills since she got assistance from the state. Our children currently get medical coverage fro...

haha okay this sounds wicked gayy but like you know how if your spanish when you have a baby and you speak spanish it picks up that language and then like if you move to ameica and they speak english they know how to speak both? well like if there is a baby raised by wolfes does it understand how to speak to animals? cus my dad told me that they found someone raised by wolves and they had to teach him how to be a human when he was like 7 and i want to know if anyone knows who this is becasue i want to know if like he could still speak to wolfes i looked it up on google but got nothing

Iam taking care of a 15 year old girl and she's not mine i just have custody of her she's in ceaderwood becouse she has behavior problems.
Traci is always picking on my son who's autistic and it makes him pitch fits.
Traci never helps with chores and she never listens to me and she also picks on my cousin who comes to stay with me on the weekends and iam tired of having to be her bodyguard all the time.Traci also aggervates everybody and i don't want to have to take her back to live with her mom becouse it's not an appropriate place for a 15 year old girl to grow up in what should i do?

I want to know if my 14 year old friend can talk to and visit with her 18 year old boyfriend, who just got out of jail and has not been convicted off any crime yet, but my 14 year old friends dad had my 18 year old friend arrested because they had been sexually active, then the dad dropped the charges and charges were picked up by the State, they are not 4 years apart in total age and we live in Oklahoma?

Social Services, family gettin destroyed

i had a normal family, untill a few years ago when my sister started to completly disregard my parents, and just absorbed herself into her friends. her friends have had a bad influence on her. bother of them are dadless and they are causing my sister to disregard anything my dad says. the other day it got so out of hand my dad hit my sister. it was 100% justified i think. she went beserk and called social services, told every official she could and blew it out of proportion. now she is making up stories of other abuse's that didnt occur, including sexual abuse which never happen! her friends are drving her to do this, and she now (starting the other day)at my aunts. i dont wanna lose my family but my sister already took this to the next lev...

Help with 12 yr old nephew

I'm 26 yr old male and my brother passed away a few years ago, leaving his son who is now 12. I'm am still very close to my nephew. I talk to him on the phone alot, email with him, etc. His mom is a terrible mom, who happens to have 2 other kids from 2 other men and wastes the social security money from my brother on cigarettes, alcohol, and frivilous items. She pays no attention to the boy and he stays with his grandma most nights because she doesnt wake him up in time for him to go go school. I'm afraid my nephew might soon turn to drugs, alcohol, etc. I've also noticed quite a lack of self esteem. I know that he has had 'girlfriends' but have yet to see them or meet them. I am 65 yrs old and have lived with Linda for some 10 years and about 12 months ago her 35 yr old son move back in(we live in her house)and even though he is a college grad he has not been able, probably because of his background check, to obtain a permanent job, other than waiting tables. He is extremely sloppy even to the point that he will not sleep in his own "room" because it is "too nasty"(which it really is) and he actually has trashed Linda's house with cats and just his life style. She has tried to get him motivated to find a "job" and get out but he hasn't and I don't think he has the ambition to even try. As long as she allows him to stay he has no ambition to leave. Pregnancy

I am only 6wks preg. with my 2nd child, with my 1st I was so sick, adn didn't show until 6months or so. with this one, I am already pudging in my tummy, and you can tell. Is this because I am so little, to is it normal? Its so weird I figured it would be like my 1st pregnancy. PLEASE HELP ME

Naming my baby

I'm pregnant and due in just one month, and we still haven't agreed on a middle name for the baby. My husband and half our friends and family like Emma Lynn. I and the other half like Emma Linnora.
Linnora is a family name with a long story that has to do with a fort being attacked by native Americans and my ancestors, Linnora and her brother, being the only ones to survive.
Also, our last name is French , like Leblanc or Lecarte.
Please suggest some names OR some ideas for a way to reach a compromise and break this 6 month long deadlock.
